Only there, no one doubts his feelings for her and Titanic is regarded as the most epic love story of all time...Obviously "don't do this/don't you do that" doesn't mean they don't love the other, they just don't want them to say "I love you" as a way of saying goodbye, which means leaving, which in both their cases means death...
