I want someone to preen my wings 😔

i miss my wings. i miss the weight of them. the stability they gave me. i wish i had my wings so i could just fly away from all of the pain and anger and anxiety i have when im here on the ground, surrounded by people and sounds. All my problems would be solved and everything would be okay if i could just fly into the sky for a few minutes and just float above it all without having to worry about anything. I feel like that would make me normal and maybe a little more sane.

I am tired and ancient and I want chicken nuggets.

You might not be able to see them, but my ears perk up when you call my name - my tail anxiously swings side to side while i’m waiting for something, and my wings stretch out and ache when I gaze at the sky.
