Something that might not be expected of my kintype is that it’s extremely protective. An unnervingly tall silhouette, featureless except for hundreds of eyes, and large, white, feathery wings.
I may tower over you, but these wings are for wrapping you up to comfort you. These eyes are for watching for anything that could threaten you.
My kintype would live in a forest, misty and dark. I would protect the animals living there, and make sure any humans who venture into the forest intending to harm it would be too afraid to return.
But if you are kind to the forest I will be kind to you. I will protect you in the same way I protect the forest’s animals, and those who hurt you will never be able to again.
Curl up on the moss, I’ll fly up to a tall tree and watch for danger.
You’re safe here.

This is a “smiley” piercing (a horseshoe bar through the frenulum); fang bars are NOT proper jewelry to wear in them! Their size and shape can increase the risk of gum recession and tooth chipping (and are at a higher risk of being torn out by mistake!), plus they’re difficult to live with when it comes to eating, drinking, and sleeping.
These are vertical angel bites (AKA “angel fangs”), using a standard curved barbell with a spike on the bottom. They don’t extend into the oral cavity at all, which means your teeth won’t be damaged and there’s a lesser risk of injury. This piercing is also easier to live with so you can keep your fangs full-time (as long as the spikes you use aren’t TOO long, I’d recommend 3 to 4 mm).

hiii, I'm back! could I have a satyrkin-based recipe (I'm thinking easily forageable or homegrown ingredients like mushrooms and root vegetables)? I'm vegetarian and would prefer something that can be made with just one pot or pan. Thanks!! :3

Foreword: Growing up a bit broke we always did a lil something we called a Stir-About! It's a one pan dish, and can be easily adjusted to for whatever you like! We used to do a breakfast themed one for any meal because the ingredients were cheap and it was filling. Here's a more woodsy take on it! I didn't use true measurements because it really is an "as you can find it" and personal taste type dish .
DISCLAIMER: Use extreme caution when foraging and never eat something you can't 100% identify. Only take what you need and nothing more. Make sure you have the permission of private land owners before you forage on their land. A delicious dish is not worth risking your health or getting into legal trouble.
Ingredients:
Mushrooms (whatever you can safely forage! I recommend chanterelles and/or morels depending on your area!)
Burdock root (if you can find it)
Dandelion greens
Potatoes
Garlic (wild or otherwise)
Eggs (optional, but adds a bit of protein)
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Oil (use one with a high smoke point, like vegetable, canola, or avocado oil)
Directions:
Wash your vegetables! Either use water or a water bath with a slight amount of vinegar to clean them. To wash morels if you find them, shake the dirt off, then submerge in a bath of cold salt water and soak to clean.
Slice up all your veggies! You can peel the potatoes or not, it's really up to you!
Put some oil in your pot/pan of choice, although I recommend a deep pan.
Add your potatoes, and gently fry on medium to medium high until soft enough to stick a fork in them. Stir occasionally.
Add your roots next! Cook until soft.
Add your mushrooms and greens; cook until both are soft but the mushrooms aren't rubbery.
Season with salt, pepper, and any other seasonings!
Crack in your eggs! A good rule of thumb is to crack 2 eggs for each person you're serving and 1 for the pot.
Season again! Always season in layers.
I hope you enjoy!
