I can honestly see Amy dragging Sheldon to watch "The Wicked" and him pretending to hate it, like he did with "La La Land".
If I could re-imagine Sheldon and Amy's wedding, I could see Sheldon crying his eyes out. At his own wedding. It must have taken him some strength to not shed a tear.
I like to think that after the wedding, they both were so overwhelmed that there wasn't any coitus. They had the honeymoon for that, anyway.
Instead, they sat down together and went through their new marriage agreement, listing all of the legally binding ways that they'll keep the marriage alive.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the way Sheldon moves his hip and his fingers?. The way he looks to Amy, so sexy, he is fucking her right now, the βsmooth jazzβ is just a way to show us, but this is a SEX DREAM, ladies and gentlemen, and no one canΒ΄t tell me not!!
It's interesting how, in a subtle and somewhat subjective way, they managed to demonstrate how the topic of "marriage" and "proposing" affected Sheldon after his breakup with Amy.
Every time a conversation involved marriage or commitment, Sheldon became extremely defensive. My favorite example is his last meeting with Amy at the aquarium, where she explains the game "kiss, marry, kill" and he retorts that his version was better because it didn't involve getting married.
It's necessary to watch part of their relationship at least twice to understand how it works. And, in my opinion, after the reconciliation, I felt that Sheldon wanted to show Amy how much he could be the boyfriend she deserves, so that he could be the husband she deserves. But the more time passed, the more insecure he also felt. I think that deep down he was afraid of her response, like that she would leave him again.

It's frustrating how many wonderful fanfics are unfinished! It should be a crime to write the greatest masterpiece and abandon it when you need it most.
Have you noticed that Amy has a little bit of each guy's personality? She's sweet and has mommy issues like Leonard, romantic like Raj (not as much as Raj himself), a little bit of a pervert like Howard (besides Neil Diamond) and, well, pretty much everything else like Sheldon. All of this and I don't understand why she couldn't get that close to the guys, okay she didn't want to, but it would still be fun to see them interact. AND OMG WHY DON'T THE GIRLS HAVE A MOVIE NIGHT WITH RAJ???? I would give anything to have a friend who loved romantic movies so much.
I just wanted to share something I think. I think it's really funny that Sheldon ended up with someone who looked like Leonard, and Amy ended up with someone who looked like Penny. I love the dynamic between the four of them, it's like they're a multiverse, a parallel between them, a version of each. You get the idea.
OMG why did they insist on making Amy and Bernie fight all the time? I mean, they are two amazing scientists and very successful in their respective fields, why couldn't they just get along? It's unnecessary for them to pick the boys' fights, while they (girls) were fighting, they (boys) were already making up. I think it was part of the humor of the time, but it's still a waste of development. I don't know how to explain what I think, but that's it.
Can we talk about how Sheldon was a million times more bearable in the first season? I mean, his eccentricities are part of the show and the character as part of the comic relief. But, he wasn't mysophobic, he touched people and was even a little likable, you could understand why the guys still put up with him, he wasn't as "annoying" as he was when he got to the last season. But that's not the point, the point is, what if THIS Sheldon had found Amy? What would their relationship be like before they decided that Sheldon would be so much more eccentric? Someone please write a fanfic about this π. Anyway, just another thought that I don't have anyone to share with.
I've never heard anyone talk about how Sheldon changes throughout the series, how his character development changes, especially in his relationship with Amy. For example, rewatching TBBT, it's clear that Sheldon had a lot of respect for Amy at the beginning of their friendship. He even acted differently when he was around her, as if he wanted to impress her. However, when they start their relationship, he shows himself to be very disrespectful and treats her the same way he treats everyone else. I was just pointing this out because I didn't see anyone doing it, but it's something that really bothered me. I wanted to know what this universe would be like where Sheldon maintains his respect for Amy within the relationship.
I think I'll talk more about these things because I don't have any friends who like TBBT LOL .
I have a hc that Sheldon listened to Drivers License - Olivia Rodrigo, when he had the break with Amy. And I think he became a fan after that.
