Capricorn & Emotions

Capricorns are portrayed as the ones with stainless steal spines. You will see them caring for a sick family member for years, forsaking their own health and pouring their youth into their loved ones without ever asking for anything in return. Because of their fierce loyalty and selflessness, they are often left without much support in return. People see them as so strong and invincible that they don’t ask Capricorn if they’re okay, and even when they do, Capricorn will often tell them not to worry, that they’re completely fine while on the inside they’re screaming, “See me! Love me! I need you.” They hate asking for help. All of their lives they have been supporting people who “need” them, that their emotional needs are lost and they are left feeling neglected and rejected by the ones they love the most. Capricorns may seem strong, but in the privacy of their rooms, late at night, a dam opens up, and they will cry all alone, silently until they fall asleep. They are the sufferers in silence. They often suffer from serious depression because they feel the weight of the world on their shoulders. When they see suffering on the news, they almost feel personally responsible. World hunger, environmental crises, abused children and animals weigh on them all day long. They are like Atlas, holding the world on their shoulders. Capricorns may be strong, but they are in no way invincible. Their emotions may not always be seen on the surface, but deep down they are calling out for love and for someone to see that they are hurting. If you see a Capricorn caring for everyone but herself, remind her that she is important and ask her if she’s okay. She’ll say that she’s fine. All you have to say is, “No, you’re not,” and you will see her shoulders drop and her eyes close, and she might just pour her heart out to you. Never overestimate a Capricorn, people have been doing that to her all of her life.
