So. I watched "ARCANE" a year ago. And OMG, I'm was in love! True, as always, I fell in love with "dark side". If specifically – it's Silco and Jinx (because villains, psychos and scoundrels are my everything, yes) 🖤💙 As an artist, I was attracted to the aesthetics of their appearance, as a person – their storyline 💔 A lot of tragedy, drama and suffering for soulful masochism (everything I love, yes). Therefore, by the end of the series, I already knew for sure that I would draw them. And, of course, in detailed realism.

Fan enthusiasm, as you know, works wonders. Only on it my psyche rests, when I work on such artwork. Especially towards the very end 😆 Definitely, it was the longest, most hard and interesting art project for all my work in digital.

Ukrainian steppe and Crimea in works of Arkhip Kuindzhi.

Arkhip Kuindzhi (1841-1910) was a Ukrainian Greek landscape painter born near Mariupol in the community of Urums, Turkic-speaking Orthodox Greeks of North Azov region. His surname Κουίντζι (kouíntzi) means ‘goldsmith’ in Urum Greek and is cognate to Crimean Tatar quyumci, referring to Arkhip’s grandfather’s profession.

Silco is defo a sad drunk but his VA Jason Spisak is a fun drunk! Was supposed to be a shitpost but ended up being wholesome??

For context: Spisak did a drunk history reading of the nation of Zaun as Silco. Here's a marvellous montage of this train wreck.
