This is my first time animating anything, EVER! No bouncing ball, no animation tutorials, NOTHING before this! Though, I used to watch animation tutorials/bts wayy before I even bought the RoughAnimator. I do know that it might not be such a good idea to have something a bit complicated but I felt a bit cocky about my skills halfway through, until I remembered that the guide was for staying on model and that I should’ve used colors to separate each part (which is why it’s colored at the end).
The movement was inspired by King’s jump-back-kick from Tekken!
Btw I was soo sick while making this post, it even got to a point where I could barely move. At the time I could barely type that caption out. I’m better now which is why I’m typing out what I wanted to in the first place.
Got the outline so far!
I want to reverse gatekeep my music
the world MUST know Happy Ending by Kelela I’ve been listening to her since she was in Bury Me by PinkPantheress and I’m surprised both songs haven’t even reached 1m views on yt yet when they should get billions of views
Dude I love lower budget shows where there's two goofy guys with very different personalities and there's like a really short one and a really tall one.
I love the fast paced chaotic humor of it all
I’m gonna be getting a computer within the next like two months(hopefully, I’m saving up at the minute) anybody have any mincraft mod suggestions?
why is everyone forgiving the minecraft movie it still looks like shit dont tell me the meme got to you are you seriously going to see this cash grab bullshit in theatres because hehehoho steve yearned for the mines????? hello????????
Still working on the animation guide 😅
Btw the outline doesn’t match bc changed the proportions on the sketch whoops
tysm for introducing me to eartheater!!
The late 90s vibe of the clip "Crushing" by Eartheater, directed by Andrew Thomas Huang, is reminiscent of cosmetics and fragrance commercials from that era. The music video features decadent mirrored rooms and performance vignettes. The camera work is dynamic : moving constantly, it never reveals a full portrait of the artist until late in the piece, adding a sense of mystery and excitement throughout. Eartheater's clothes, blending futuristic elements with organic designs, accentuate the ethereal, surreal and otherworldy atmosphere of her video.
One of the standing out elements is the symbolism behind Eartheater's interactions with glassware. The latter represents both fragility and transformation. By forming, drinking from and even shattering the glass with her voice, Eartheater explores the themes of vulnerability, consumption and the breaking of barriers.
The lyrics of the song evoke the opposite ideas of destruction and creation, with lines like "You're the flame melting sand into glass" and "You're the glass holding the wine." The glass symbolizes the process of change and the dualism of beauty and destruction.
When Eartheater shatters the glass with her voice, she shows how something beautiful (like glass or a powerful vocal performance) can lead to destruction. The beauty of art and life is associated with the construction of glass, meant to be fragile and breakable. This powerful visual metaphor highlights the ephemeral nature of beauty. Surprisingly, the artist rather sees destruction as a renewal than a downfall because its cathartic power enables new forms of beauty to emerge and transformation to happen.
The way Eartheater uses her voice to break the glass epitomizes both the breaking of barriers and the creation of beauty from destruction. This impressive display of her vocal range and artistic vision leaves a lasting impact long after the song ends.
Here is Eartheater's Crushing BTS Instagram post, giving fans a glimpse into the creative process and the artistry that went into the production of the clip. By sharing it, the artist provides transparency and allows them to appreciate her hard work, creating a deeper connection with her audience.
I was JUST doing this but for Bunny, then I took a break and came on Tumblr just to find the creator doing the same lol
This literally motivates me to stop the break
Méko shows an example of how he does proportions for his characters!
He says that he often changes the proportions of his characters in his drawings.
He can tend to make them far taller with human anatomy details, but however, they’re far more short and simple with a lot of rules for their design!
This is a video in relation to a Reddit post I made.
I’ve been making a Bunny Maloney Turnaround for animation. I haven’t animated anything before but this would be my first time trying!
The pose is kinda off but hey it works 🤷♂️
I can’t hold it in, I’ve been making a video that records all of my initial reactions and developing thoughts about the Minecraft movie and I totally got the detail about Steve being a old man in this story!! It still doesn’t explain why he doesn’t have the same hair OR beard as Steve throughout any of the time skips though :/
WHY IS EVERYTHING GETTING HIT BY LIVE ACTION 😭😭😭😭
What’s with this cutecore deergirl background character why doesn’t she have a whole episode about her or at least some dialogue
Finally beat Sonic Unleashed today!!! I think I started the game 5-6 months ago and I got to Eggmanland 2 months ago because I kept quitting after getting a game over because I can’t get the long QTEs. I was playing the ps3 version, which I discovered midway through that it is the 2nd worst console to play Sonic Unleashed on 💀
The game is pretty good until the end though, where all the jankyness in the game comes on full force. All that I personally experienced before (clipping through ramps/wall running, clipping through rails, left/right dash barely moving, etc.) was ramped up on Eggmanland in my experience 🤷♂️
Redoing (or doing another version of) the “Xeverything” logo by adding more elements to it right now!
The other day, Nicolaï Chauvet aka Méko, original creator of Bunny Maloney/Pinpin le Lapin emailed me! Our email exchange unearthed a lot of interesting behind-the-scenes information about the show and the original flash pilot. I'll post the whole exchange and the photos he sent under the cut, but here's a quick summary.
He's been away from the internet for a while due to a back injury and is currently making a living designing collector's edition DVD box sets.
Bunny Maloney in its final form was intended to be a show for teens and up; he thought that was made clear, but Moonscoop and Kabillion clearly had other plans. He had no idea that the show was ever distributed for younger kids overseas. He received no royalties for the overseas distribution, either.
Pinpin le Lapin was not originally intended as a TV pilot, but after winning an award for it, he decided to alter the tone and presentation into something more workable as a TV program, the initial conception of which is shown in the images below.
He would like to continue the show, but since Moonscoop was dissolved, he's not sure who currently owns the IP and what they plan to do with it, if anything.
"Pinpin le Lapin" became "Bunny Maloney" due to the meddling of, quote, an "army of 40 year old Parisian mothers" who represented Moonscoop's executive board at the time. The name "Bunny Maloney" was chosen because they believed it would be more marketable to an American/English speaking audience. This "Mother's Mafia" is the entire reason that Bunny Maloney was watered down for a younger audience in the first place (although it certainly kept some of its edge).
And then he sent a bunch of pictures from the show's original pitch bible, which I believe has never been made public before!
First email + new Charlotte illustration
Follow up email:
+ unexpected twist that Charlotte was meant to be a sheep all along!
I feel overwhelmed by how much good creators were doing stuff today on Halloween 😵💫
I think I just realized that the people in that pumpkin town in otgw are trying to replace where their flesh used to be with hay and pumpkins?? This is probably my 4th rewatch and I think I just noticed this
YESS
FELLAS…THIS IS BUNNY MALONEY’S CREATOR!! 😭🙏🏾
a ‘x reader’ fanfic but the features described are super specific and some of the in-universe characters are a little bit weirded out by how you are acting and then it’s revealed that you possessed one of the characters before the pov and character kiss
If you like 90s/Early 2000s centered media PLEASE give Bridge Kids a try. It’s about a group of teens who are all Y2K stereotypes but are all losers in their own way- with wanna-be rappers, nerds, grungy chill guy, and.. an concerning edge lord. It reminds me a lot of Beavis and Butthead and Daria. The humors dry but so funny. It’s all on YouTube!!!
Happy Birthday, Jean Francois!
(They’re Dancing!!) 🎉🎉
BTW I have some still emojis (that aren’t finished btw), but I realized halfway through I’m basically making these
Also, feel free to use the BM gifs I made so far without any worry of credit, the property ain’t mine anyway 🤷♂️
I can finally show y’all the new logo for my brother (@erasexverything on instagram) and all the versions coming out later!
(Sorry for the tag but you know how it is, I gotta protect my art now 😅)
THE FACT WE GOT TO THE POINT OF REACHING THE DIRECTOR OF BUNNY MALONEY IS AMAZING…
BUNNY MALONEY NEVER DIES!! 🔥🙏🏾
This is (sadly) my biggest flex to this day 😁
I loved this album since day one, I remember being so confused about the first wave of feedback WLR was getting I thought it was the sound everyone wanted him to do considering most people seemed to like his song @ MEH
Also I liked PinkPantheress pre face-reveal, it’s been so cool to hear her sound evolving with all of it sounding good the whole way
I love anthropomorphic bunny characters with a New York accent who MIGHT be in love with their partner
This kinda looks like the art I just made 😬 😭😭

Someone should remix 360 (by Charli XCX) and 360 (By BFRND) I don’t know much about music but I feel it’s possible
