This ep was a roller coaster for me no cap. I was pissed when I realized what happened first ep was all a set up by Clarke-sama but now it might be all on the brother pulling the strings? Still by the end of the ep it seems like Clarke-sama might have figured out that you can't force a relationship even if it is arranged. That fact that the ep ended with him saying if Leticia wants to gave me a lot more hope and this is why i did not drop this one even when it was irking me.😉

what did I say? The ep was too light hearted last week and this week the hammer came down hard! The funny thing is I asked my daughter if her dad, who passed away when she was 10 of epilepsy, was the focal point of the fictional world like Hanako-kun was could she do what she needed to do to get back to the real world and she didn't bat an eyelid before she said..."Absolutely cause I know that isn't my real dad simply cause he would be healthy and able to achieve all his dreams. I can't decide if that was too cold or not.😣

I Just Need to Say This

Nothing fancy here, no colors, anime gifs or emojis. I just need to post this before I start my usual blogs cause this shut me down yesterday hard. Yesterday the government shut down access to the Sex Offender Registry website. As someone that feels strongly about public access to it for the safety of everyone...shock was not the word that I felt when I found this out. I hope it is temporary, although I worry what changes were made to it during the down time, but still in that moment someone might go under the radar and put someone's life in danger. Okay that's it. Now back to your regular otaku blogging.

Please Stop Comparing Them😓

So I decided to do one last anime rant for tonight. This one is just a personal feeling but it has just gotten stronger and stronger as the season has gone on. Please please PLEASE stop comparing Ameku Takao no Suiri Karte to House MD.😒

For those that don't live in the USA or use a VPN to watch American shows, House MD is a dramedy about a doctor named Gregory House that is an unconventional, misanthropic, cynical medical genius who, despite his dependence on pain medication, successfully leads a team of diagnosticians at the fictional Princeton–Plainsboro Teaching Hospital (PPTH) in New Jersey. That was from IMBD. Now...

Ameku Takao no Suiri Karte is about Ameku Takao Sensei a brilliant yet eccentric director of investigative pathology at Tenikai General Hospital, in charge of diagnosing patients the other hospital departments cannot. However, due to her love of solving mysteries, Takao also gets involved with mysterious deaths and murders, all while dragging along her assistant Takanashi Yu Sensei in her various adventures. Again this is from the novel description.🧐

Now what do they have in common; Well they are both super smart. That makes sense. Both Ameku Sensei and Dr. House have people in charge that they butt heads with naturally. They also diagnose patients in unique and unconventional ways. Again that all makes sense. Now lets see what is different.🤔

Oh yeah...HE'S PSYCHOTIC! House is also dependent on pain meds so yeah addiction. What's Ameku Sensei addicted to? Sweets and picking on Takanashi sensei dragging him out to do silly things like cafes and movies...wait, those are date spots...ugh we can only hope thanks to the ED. 😋

i also know that House has a downward spiral multiple times from his addiction and his mental breaking moments. I do acknowledge that he is much older that Ameku Sensei is but that just means he is old enough to take responsible for reals.🙄

Okay okay I know these are both fictional characters and who really cares whether they are compared. I guess I am just personally bothered that there can be a young female fictional character that solves patient's diagnosis as well as some mysteries on the side and be a good person. Why does there have to be something wrong with them? Why do they have to have a mental defect and not just be quirky? What's wrong with quirky? Doogie Houser MD was quirky...well he was still high school age. Oh and he was played by Neil Patrick Harris from How I Met Your Mother.😅

Anyway, rant over and I just needed to get this off my chest so feel free to ignore it all, but I feel better now so I can sleep...aka read manga till I pass out.😁

Weirdly Productive?🤔

I haven't done much today honestly physically cause I still can't, but mentally...yeah I've done quite a lot...if that makes sense.😬

Let me explain. I decided to be part of the low consumer 2025 movement or under consumption core where i only get what I truly need and nothing else. I have been waiting for my taxes to come in order to make this happen and today is the day. 😤

Right away I bought the rolling cart for the kitchen cause I have a kitchen converted from a laundry room...don't ask, and have no counter space to cook properly. Then I got the meat slicer that I needed to buy bulk meat and cut it down to the sizes I need which is gonna save money for sure cause I need super thin meats for Japanese recipes and that is considered exotic or special cut and costs more.🤨

The last thing I picked up was new silverware cause out of three sets i bought in the last three years I have all the knives and nothing else. Yeah...my kids heard it good about that and now it is a $5 charge if I find ANY missing from the new set from everyone. I'm not messing around with this shit.😠

Other than a few used pieces of clothing for my daughter and I from Thred Up and adding three subscriptions for groceries including Costco, I am done. That's it. Also I learned something interesting that might be useful for others. Think about what you make an hour and then think about what you want to buy. How many hours do you have to work afford it? My daughter's sushi plate at Shop Rite is $14.99. That's a little less than an hour of my pay. If I eat my fav at Taco Bell, it's $8.00 and than includes up charge for frozen drink, added rice, and rounding up for charity. That's half an hour of work for me. Interesting huh? Think about that next time you want to treat yourself.🧐

More Reasons to Boycott Walmart😒

My daughter and I have been boycotting Walmart since Thanksgiving when they decided to Roll Back DEI and announce it while every one was eating dinner. Naturally people were pissed and imagine that no one wanted to shop on Black Friday there. I wonder why?😈

Anyway, I've never been happy that I had to buy from Walmart cause I can't afford not to, but after that mic drop I was fully done. Now in the last few months with all the news coming out about lawsuits and screw overs, I am really happy about my decisions even if it means I pay a little more here and there. My conscience is clear.😇

Let me also preface that I do this with all companies that pull shady shit like McD, Valero, Home Dept, and Target to name a few. I pay a lot of attention to where my money goes now and who gets it. Right now I am standing with Costco and Aldi for sure. Take a moment and look up who is being bought to decide who you want to still buy from.😉

So straight up I don't use Tik-Tok at all. I have never had an account, ALL my kids do, and I don't want one. Other than here I am not on any SNS since 2020 cause I could not take the toxic bullshit anymore. I was on Twitter, IG, and FB for years before that. I say this cause the only time I see Tik-Toks is on You Tube compilations by the creators I follow. I say this first cause I discovered this from one of those vids.

Anyway I digress. If you Google warn act and your state list it will give you a full list by area in your state which is paranoia inducing yes, but if you check each month it could be really helpful for a lot of people to be ready for the life destroying changes before they happen.😖

Friday Anime Line Up!

I realized yesterday that I was rushing to watch my anime so that I could post my reactions and it was making me annoyed cause I was also rushing the rest of my day. I think it is easier to just post the next day about my anime watch the day before and I feel so dumb that I was trying so hard and ruining my fun!😵

So that I decided to use common sense, imagine that, let's start with a bonus episode to the day because Ameku Takao no Suiri Karte was delayed so it came out yesterday instead of its normal scheduled day.😁

I'm going to do a little rant about this anime separately cause I am sick of a comparison theory, if you know you know, but man I was on point with this episode! I mean its kind of bad I was cause it means I watch waaaay too much True Crime, but yeah I knew exactly the diagnosis and I'm kind of proud...or disturbed, not really sure which.😶

Tasokare Hotel

I like that we are actually getting more in depth into the main characters this ep rather than just solving the Who Are You spot light of the new guest of the hotel.🤭

The Apothecary Diaries 2nd Season

FINALLY! The elephant in the room that so many should have figured out by now is out for everyone to know...well except for Maomao of course. As smart as she is I can't believe she didn't figure out something I figured out the first quarter of first season.😓

I love how we went from light hearted moments at the festival and one of the darkest that I think we've seen this season so far in less than 15 min. 😲

Thursday Big Anime Line Up!

Just the usual happening this week. Nothing amazing other than what's always amazing and that for sure is our Grace!😎

Dr. STONE: SCIENCE FUTURE

Full circle this ep from ep one. It was so amazing to see what was happening in America at the same time in Japan. I know we are going to get a Tsukasa style showdown like in S2 just not needing a full season to pull it off. I mean we all know that Senku is gonna win so all bets are off on this one.🙄

Trillion Game

This was a pretty powerful ep honestly. Gaku experiencing the pain of people wanting to be near you for what you have and what they perceive you are worth rather than for who you are and what you believe in. I've dealt with that a lot in life personally and I can tell you that is never feels good even if you try and fool yourself.😓

Arafou Otoko no Isekai Tsuuhan Seikatsu

So I watched Winter 2025 Anime in a Nutshell by Gigguk and when he got to the isekai part as usual he was all jokes but I do love that with this anime he admits that our man gets some cheeks constantly and this weeks ep once again proved that.😆

Momentary Lily

Okay! Along with an amazing battle scene we got some great back story that honestly makes me slightly hopeful for the tragedy that happened ep 2 may not be the tragedy we think it was but we still have a few episodes to go to be fully sure. 🤔

Add another World Tree Spirit to the list! Also that demon that was sent to assassinate was pathetic on so many levels! 🤭

My Top Five Anime of Winter 2025

So for a lot of anime they are moving past the half way mark for a 12 ep season. By this time I am usually settled into what I am enjoying for the rest of the season and honestly start looking to what's coming for the next season.🤭

Still I have my favs for sure and here is my personal rundown. Oh disclaimer: No continuing anime are in this list. What this means is no second season or more will count. Just so no one thinks I am crazy that Dr. Stone S4 in not on this list. It's just for brand new anime.😆

#5 Trillion Game

This is an anime that is continuing from last season and honestly it did not make my Top Five in Fall cause it was battling with so many other good animes, but this season it just ramped up so much that I was blown away! Lots of anime will actually fall off the second half sadly like Tata no Yusha did first season but man was I shocked! 🤯

Honestly I was taken back by the animation the first time I saw it, but now the characters have been evolving in a way I never thought they would and no this anime does not have the surprise ending of them becoming trillionaires cause we know it has happened from the future shots we get every few ep, but it does not take away from the interest of the path that leads up to it at all! Check it out please!😋

A-Rank Party wo Ridatsu shita Ore wa, Moto Oshiego-tachi to Meikyuu Shinbu wo Mezasu

If anyone knows me I am isekai trash and proud of it but second is fantasy for me. As an old school D&D player; swords, fantasy monsters, castles, medieval settings, and even the fashion style are my bread and butter of anime cause it goes along so well with the prime rib dinner of isekai. Wait does that make sense? Ah whatever.

Aparida has everything that I love in a fantasy including a shitty antagonist that thinks he is all that. I love when those kind of people go down hard when they think they are the dream crushers and instead them get crushed. Give me more!

Okay but the real reason this anime made my Top Five is cause of the protag Feldio Yuke. He has such a good heart and the fact that he is helping his students to get ahead and be the adventures that he knows they have the potential to be? W sensei! Also he is a red wizard and if you ever played old school Gauntlet you know what he can do.

Sentai Red Isekai de Boukensha ni Naru

This one wasn't even originally on my radar in the beginning of the season, but since I discovered it two weeks ago I have been telling everyone they have to watch it!

The nostalgia first from Power Rangers back in the day with the stupid monsters and corny cringy hero lines are the best. I forgot that I used to like it and be so into it as a kid. Now I see it ramped up to 11 and all I can do it laugh. How did I think this was the best? Adolescent me was so easily amused!

Every episode has me clutching my stomach in pain from all the laughter that is coming out of me and just when i think I am done something else happens and I am dying all over again!

Salaryman ga Isekai ni Ittara Shitennou ni Natta Hanashi

As someone who has been working all my life and has been giving every company that i have ever worked for 110% of myself and watched as each time it was treated like nothing and people who gave less than half would be placed over me every time, I resonated with Uchimura Dennosuke-san so much.

Watching him get beat down in the first ep by a company that he gave so much to and then get isekaied by the Dark King who truly wants him for his abilities it just brought a tear to my eye.

I know this is making an anime that is supposed to make us laugh and entertain us have a serious feel, but if you lived that life you know that feeling and I would work for the damn Dark Lord if he actually gave me credit for the hard work that I put in honestly! Please isekai me right now!

Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Oji-san

A 52 yr old salary man gets isekaied into his daughter's otome game as the villainess. Who would have thought! Plus the whole family is otaku to the max so they aren't surprised at all and all, including mom, are doing what they can to help him get home by finishing the game! I mean do I need to say more? Oh wait...maybe one more thing.

I was on edge the entire episode! Like even when they were hanging with the prince just drinking and laughing I was waiting for Usui to just show up and destroy all the happiness! Can we please get the namesake of the anime soon?😭

Top Five Anime OP/ED of the Winter 2025 Anime Season

so each season I go through all the songs for all the animes that I watch during the season both OP and ED and see which ones will end up on

Okay so before I get to my number one, I want to touch on the anime that I mentioned earlier. So if you know my Daily Anime(s) posts you know that I watch studio Go Hands masterpiece from this season Momentary Lily and one of the best things that I got from it was the band that performs the OP Hanabie. Everything this band touched is gold if you enjoy hardcore metal and screamo. The fact that they are a band unlike Baby Metal where they just sing and don't play instruments, I do love Baby Metal too, is just an even better reason to get into them.🤭

Oishi Survivor is the OP for Momentary Lily and it is a non stop ride along with the scenes playing during it. I am a fan of another band called Ice Nine Kills or IX and the vibe these girl's really give off really reminds me of them. I wish there was an official vid of this instead of a lyric one so instead i'm gonna put another song of their's that I love so please enjoy oh and yes this is the band we are going to see in March along with Kim Dracula!🤗

Not since the Song of the Dead by Kana-Boom from Zom 100 have a had so much fun listening to an OP like Casanova Posse. I do also enjoy the ED Rolling Stone by Breimen but not enough to make my Top Five. Probably my Top Ten though.🤭

I discovered Ali when JJK S1 came out and the amazing ED Lost in Paradise...that cost me my IG, fuck you Sony, came out and took over the world. That was kind of when I started checking out the official vids and the artist's other music. It has not steered me wrong at all and I encourage you all to do the same. if you like the song, hit YT and see what else they have done outside of anime and of course check out live shows. I promise you that you won't be disappointed.🥰

L'oN by Masayoshi Oishi ~ Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun 2 OP

I have been a huge fan of Masayoshi-san since OxT who performed a lot of songs doe Daiya no Ace and when I saw him live and was shocked how much he looked like my number one seiyuu Sakurai-san that just made it even better! A lot of his songs are on my playlist from several season and no I have never watched Overlord but I love Clattanoia, I just discovered it on my own!😅

I always have at least one slow song in a season and this year, Shiawase no Recipe took the silver for this year. Besides the fact that the vibe really matches Maomao and Jinshi's whole relationship it just hits right no matter when I watch an episode .😘

Sunday Anime Line Up!

Finally feeling better after the pain I caused to myself since before the weekend. It is cold and raining like crazy outside after it snowed like 3 in. yesterday so it was the perfect time to catch up on all my missing anime from the last few days.😁

Now since i had to catch up on three days worth I won't try and catch up on my posts by putting up double the amount so later on this week I'm just going to mention this weeks and last weeks ep to make it easier.🧐

Sentai Red Isekai de Boukensha ni Naru

So the last 2 ep we have fully met the person that took over the Magical Scepter and honestly i don't like her at all. Like I do understand Togashi and how they should try and work together but man it would be like pulling teeth for me personally.😖 Now to a more important part, the emergency gem stone. Why would you make it happen with just your name? That moment was just so perfect!😂

Kisaki Kyouiku kara Nigetai Watashi

Okay so this is weeks ep was kinds of cute. I was worried that the Prince was pullin' shenanigans but it turned out to be something completely different and also W for the Queen for the map! Take that Prince Pain in the Ass.😉

Shangri-La Frontier 2nd season

I am loving this Pirate High Seas Arc for sure! Like i thought it was over after we sort of beat the Lycagon but nah gettin' right back into it and man the fish people, the mermaids, the kraken! Give me more!😈

Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun 2

Okay last episode was too light hearted so i knew something was gonna happen and for sure it did, but I was so on the fence cause the idea of both apparitions being alive just made he tear up so much. I want it to be so true, but I know it isn't possible. 😣

It's been a rough start to this Staycation. I got hurt on Thursday so I've been resting my leg and trying not to move too much. Today I finally got out to get stuff done before the snow storm hit. 😖

I'm eating lunch now and catching up on all the anime that I missed resting and then I'll post everything that I missed the past few days. 🤗

Writer's Rant

One of my anime's today is delayed so I thought I would take a moment and get something off my chest. 🤔

I have been going through my newer older writing meaning when I started writing anime fan fiction and I noticed a lot of stuff that could use improvement that I have learned over the years. I wonder if it would be smart to either re-edit all the new old fics or to repost them with the changes and maybe get a new audience for them.😬

Is that considered cheating in the writing world or have other people done this in the past. I know when i say edit I don't mean a few changes I mean something major changes to whole chapters so technically some of the fics could be considered new?😳

I mean its not like i'm doing this in order to get new readers or anything even though I feel like some of my fics were misunderstood cause they are 90% AUs cause that is how i write and I don't like to put myself into a corner of certain characters only being able to be certain types or always as wholesome and clean as the anime makes them out to be...😵

I'm lying to myself aren't I? I mean what writer does not want a chance to breathe new life into their work and gain a new audience in the process. I guess as long as I am transparent about it to the readers it isn't exactly lying...right?😶

He walked in to the throne room of the king of Rammpage like a boss and not only busted pig man's whole plot to undermine the Demon Kingdom but then he saved his life cause he saw the value in his other business tactics and need to care for his family. Like damn!😎

Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon 2nd Season

Mio needs a damn break from all these people trying to control or hurt her! I'm glad that she stood up to Usui but I know that she was super scared about it and she almost lost her first real friend over the whole thing!😭

Sunday I am usually exhausted from working the weekend so I am glad that these anime don't take much brain work to enjoy.🤭

Every episode of this anime makes me so happy that I decided to give it a try. My stomach hurts from laughing so hard at the antics of Togashi as he sincerely believes in everything that is spews about bonds and relationships.😂

Kisaki Kyouiku kara Nigetai Watashi

I don't know why I keep watching this one. I mean seriously I don't. I think its going to get better but then it doesn't.🙄

Shangri-La Frontier 2nd season

I love that friend's of Sunraku from other games are coming over to Shangri La Frontier and being shocked at hoe his character looks. Oh and I love the fact that he still can't wear armor...well not longer than 6 to 9 seconds. Nice Lycogon.😈

Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun 2

I'm kind of scared cause this was clearly a filler ep which means something serious is going to be happening for sure with Nene impending situation. 😣

Saturday would normally be my longest watching day but Thursday stole it this season, but its still pretty long.🤭

I only had one complaint for this weeks ep. Was the last scene really needed? Like I know the ecchi is part of the anime but honestly we could have ended the ep with something else other than another bath scene so that we can see more random nakedness.🙄

Sakamoto Days

This weeks episode was kind of cute honestly. A hit man that was such a try hard and so sure that he deserved to be a hitman going after Sakamoto.😆

Babanbabanban Vampire

Gotta catch them all is just the new name of this anime for me. Now with Aoi's brother in the mix as well as Sakamoto sensei, Mori-san has so many choices for a midnight snack, but he is still saving Rihito as that fine wine to be opened at the perfect time.😎

A-Rank Party wo Ridatsu shita Ore wa, Moto Oshiego-tachi to Meikyuu Shinbu wo Mezasu

I hate Thunder Pike like so much. All three of them are just trash and cannot see that they are the problem. I love that Yuke and Clover are now going for his childhood dream on their own terms instead of being strong armed by Thunder Pike. Can't wait till they find this out.😏

We got Tusk! What a fight that was but man Tusk before he arose was not worth anything especially compared to the leader of the ice Elves. He bent that knee real fast!🤣

Tasokare Hotel

This underrated anime just keeps getting better and better as the season goes on and the guests get more and more interesting as we go! Finding out more about the main characters is really my fav moment in each ep though.🤭

The Apothecary Diaries 2nd Season

So I saw someone complaining that all they ever do in this anime is try to kill the higher concubines and Maomao and Jinshi just figure out how and why. Um...yeah cause that how it was back then. Not the figuring out part cause honestly no one was worried about that as much, but it was that cut throat and honestly the Emperor could not give a shit like he kind of does in this one. That's why they had so many concubines cause there was always another one to take their place.😓

Guild no Uketsukejou desu ga, Zangyou wa Iya nanode Boss wo Solo Toubatsu Shiyou to Omoimasu

Okay back to the fun after that last mini rant. Our poor girl Alina can't catch a damn break no matter how hard she tries. Last ep was pretty serious so I love that this one was more light hearted and back to the comedy moments.😎

Lost Weekend

So the past two days have been super rough for me. Because of my stress and anxiety i did not sleep Thursday night into Friday morning and had to cancel my aqua therapy that morning. Then I tried to fall asleep again and my oldest son's cat kept waking me up so I tossed him out. Then my alarm for 1025 went off that i forgot about. After that just little things kept interrupting me and I think I finally passed out at like noonish and woke up to my 3pm/1500 alarm to pick up my daughter at school. 😵

My D&D friend asked me if I would help her unpack her new place so I decided it was a good excuse to stop sleeping so I went and was paid with Italian food for dinner. After that I watched some anime that she needed to catch up on that I already watched and then pretty much passed out when I got home.

Saturday I went to work in the AM and pushed myself farther than I should have with my body pain and ended up in bad shape that I slept till like 9pm/2100 and calling in to work cause i could barely move. Now this morning I woke up to my second son giving me a breakfast sandwich which was delicious but put me to sleep again and when I finally got up it was 5pm/1700.

Spent since then catching up on all the anime that I missed so I can do my recaps and hopefully I can get real sleep tonight so that I don't miss physical therapy tomorrow.

What upsets me the most is I wasted a normal day off from sleeping and then an extra day off from work and got nothing done in the house and it makes me feel lazy and more depressed cause who else is gonna do it but me when the kids are at school/work?

So tired. I did not sleep last night cause I was stressed and anxious. Finally passed out at 0930 but kept being woken up randomly here and there. Got up at 3 finally to pick my kid up from school. Helped a friend move in and was paid in food and just got home an hour ago.

Work tomorrow so passing out now. Will play anime catch up tomorrow...um I mean today.

Thursday Big Anime Line Up!

Thursday is my biggest anime watching day for the entire week this season! When I work, which I didn't today if you saw my blog yesterday, I usually need a nap afterwards and then I only have a few hours till dinner and D&D so it is really hard to make sure that I can get in all of the shows without waiting till after game when I am exhausted and have trouble concentrating or I am too hyped up from the session and...I have trouble concentrating...first world problems I know.😵

Anyway, here is my Thursday line up and these are in the order that I watch them too!😉

Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Oji-san

My number one new anime for this season just keeps getting better and better! Now that outside influences are involved it makes the story even more interesting! Also it is clear which route Anna is on but we won't tell Grace that.🤭

Dr. STONE: SCIENCE FUTURE

With Tsukasa and Senku we had brain vs brawn and now we have brain vs brain with Dr. Zeno and Dr. Taiju...? Nah I'm kidding but it is really funny that he thinks that is his nemisis when Taiju can't even spell nemesis and neither could i the first time so I'm just gonna leave it there.😆

Trillion Game

This is another underrated anime continuing from last season that I feel everyone is sleeping on. At first I was taken back by the art style but now I am so invested in the characters that it isn't even a thought anymore. If you enjoyed Great Pretender, then you have to check this one out too!😎

Arafou Otoko no Isekai Tsuuhan Seikatsu

Many are making fun of this one cause they think that its already been done with Campfire, but this has a different type of charm and kind of unexpected things are happening especially in this ep! People are also bothered by the fact that the beast race is both full beast and ones with human faces but if that is how the mangaka wrote the manga/novel who are we to judge them? They have an anime and we don't so yeah.🙄

Momentary Lily

Don't say anything. I always at least try to check out the new Go Hands anime each season and I am enjoying this one so shush. Plus the OP is amazing and my daughter and I are going to see them in concert in March!😎

Fuguushoku [Kanteishi] ga Jitsu wa Saikyou Datta: Naraku de Kitaeta Saikyou no [Shingan] de Musou Suru

I am isekai trash, but I don't have as many as i usually do this season so fantasy is just as good. I really resonate with Ein our protag cause he is shit on for most of his life for being an appraiser and before you attack and say that how is that a shit skill, if there are people that can just cast a 0 lvl spell to appraise anything than what good would having that as your only skill be and nothing else?😓

Also I don't think that he is too OP cause like Hajime in Arifueta Ein went through hell and nearly died to get what he has so he earned it all. His only cheat is that he has his MIL practically telling him what to do all the time which is not always the best idea and I am sure would get annoying if you think about it.🤔

So there you have it. My biggest anime watching day. Now I am off to finish dinner and *surprise* watch more anime...just not seasonal.😄
