reblog for a group of crows to choose you as their leader and follow you around every waking moment
To be systempunk is to be critical of misinformation even in our own community, so I'll post my own two cents: hot take that should be "hot" as lukewarm water, but sysmeds don't exist.
"Sysmeds" are just people with DID/OSDD. In order to develop DID/OSDD you need to have experienced repetitive childhood trauma while on a certain age rage, be predisposed to dissociation as a coping mechanism and on top of all of that to be disconnected (this term can mean emotionally and/or physically) from your primary caregivers. If you haven't met any of the many levels of those criterias and you still claim to be a system, then you are not. This is a traumagenic disorder that has many comorbidities with other disorders, such as C-PTSD.
I do not care one bit if this post will send so called mixed origins "systems" down a spiral, do us a favour and stop with the blatant bastardization of terms related to actual medical misinformation such as transmedicalism. - 🏹🌿
catch me running to write and post several fics on ao3 knowing damn well so many of us are about to sit down and go so deep down our little niche fanfic rabbit holes without tiktok to waste time on
so close to writing various crossover fanfics with the pitt
like genuinely fixating so hard, i am going to write so much and single handedly carve out a weird little niche of the pitt fanfics
like batman x the pitt crossover? fuck yes
avengers? spiderman? moon knight? absolutely happening
creepypasta/slenderverse? i have ideas
literally going to take my new favs and fuck them up big time
Something I really loved about episode two of Moon Knight was that when Arthur called Steven broken, he immediately defended himself and said "I'm not broken, I just need some help". Really loved that little message Marvel threw in that people with mental illnesses are not broken and they just need help.
When both your labels have a stereotype of being a slut so you decide to just embrace it
I am now w h o r e
i definitely dont mean a dissociative disorder specialist. i just mean a normal therapist. because even tho you might not have headmates as the result of trauma its still a neurodivergency and getting help with figuring the best way of working with your neurodivergency and figuring out and getting the accomodations you need in day to day life should be a priority for anyone.
gonna be so real
i think the only issue i really have with endogenic systems is that most are not willing to see a therapist or get professional help and theyre not willing to face the idea that they may actually have trauma or another mental health issue causing their system symptoms
i have the same issue with self diagnosed traumagenic systems that discount anything their therapists say if they bring up any other disorder first before DID/OSDD
like yall
for your health and wellbeing please be open to other options andnplease seek professional help to help navigate this stuff
like you wouldnt be like yea i have ehler danlos syndrome and not seek professional help because youre scared it could be an autoimmune disorder instead
reduce reuse recyle i say as i use one of my many empty pill bottles to hold cinnamon sugar for my toast
kaz brekker is an age regressor and i will never change my opinion on this
(the darkling is also definitely an age regressor)
