ive been seeing so many posts about this panel and people saying ochako saw her as beautiful while everyone else saw her as crazy like the other panel and im going to explain why thats wrong and directly contradicts the point of their arc

just look at this panel

in the panel where ochako says she's the cutest girl in the world, himiko is still looking the way everyone shunned her for. that's why that moment was so significant. ochako is the only person that hasn't been unnerved by himiko's true feelings/appearance.

so saying that ochako is the only one who remembers her as beautiful bc of the first panel is just incorrect

i know this is a really minor misinterpretation to get up in arms about but Man . it kinda misconstrues their final moments so. thats it thats the post

the moment i saw this meme, i was cry-laughing for a straight minute before immediately going to draw this. i still don’t know who would be the one to make the hat and who wears it, but the silent acceptance is so on-brand i can’t explain it
