this is the best fic of all time (ive reread it so many times it’s unable to be counted)- i feel like it has also motivated me so much with my drawings and other writing though i only have 1.5 right now and they both kinda suck….

“surely you understand what i mean now, don’t you, yvette?”

pressing herself as close to the door as possible away from the ex prime minister, yvette’s balled fists trembled in her lap. the secretary was now sitting in a car with a traitor on the way to who knows where; as calm as ever, she could tell he was completely prepared. her on the other hand, was nothing short of a poorly concealed mess.

sitting beside her was the pride that she and the lilith kingdom grew to love, despite his upbringing in the north. the surprisingly gentle man that would wipe away the tears from her emerald-like eyes, reassuring her that she wasn’t a failure. the prime minister that was undeniably strict on others in the office, but never seemed to get angry at his secretary. what was she even to call him? he was no longer the man yvette once saw; the man she once fell in love with.

yvette saw her vision getting blurry, her eyes welling up. she hated herself for it. she should’ve been more hurt over the fact that nidhogg betrayed lilith, or rather the whole of miraland, but she couldn’t bear knowing that everything— from the big mistakes and accidents he tenderly forgave her for, to the small actions that would make her heart flutter— was all a performance, in which her heartstrings were played like a puppet. looking in the mirror, yvette saw the profile of nidhogg’s face, which although was the same as it was a minute ago, what was reflected to her was an entirely different man. not the prime minister of lilith, but the colonel of league tyr.

“you lied. you lied to everyone. we all loved you… i loved you.” she choked out, hurt and humiliated. yvette would never have thought this would be what it took for her finally to confess her feelings. she knew he could tell she was crying by now, and she was ashamed, learning that she’d always been the terrified girl who walked through the grand office doors on the day of the interview.

“i did,” nidhogg spoke with no remorse, “but i promise you yvette; it’s for the best of our future— for miraland’s future.” nidhogg said, slightlu turning to look her in the eyes with his— dark with a glint of amber, the fire of ambition in his soul with will to change the fate of the world.

“our future..?” yvette couldn’t bear to look at him. “i don’t want to live a future with a traitor.”

i really want to genderbend nidhogg. is it wrong to do so

Hey remember colour palette art challenges/memes??? I haven’t seen any of those around for a while so my brain was like ‘hey it’s midnight, you know what you should make? colour palettes based on Love Nikki characters”; so here you have them.

If you’ve never worked with these before, basically someone can send you a character + a colour palette so you draw said character with just these five colours (e.g.: Sherry in Nikki); this might get confusing with all the names though, oops.
