One of the most anti-immersive things about the Sims 4 is that the townies can pretty much just be little shell people walking around doing nothing, having no personality, etc etc. So, I've developed a small obsession with mods that improve townie realism, automatically assign them personality features, and/or fix their strange outfit choices. Definition: When the writer of a piece of historical fiction hasn't really bothered to research how gay people existed in a period of time or what terms would have been used to discuss homosexuality positively or negatively. So instead they put the most modern, likely religious terms into the mouth of a historical character to establish that a character is homophobic.

e.g. Having every Victorian character be a religious homophobe instead of having them talk about "public decency" and "discretion"

I know you have all probably seen the esims for gaza posts circulating. Some of you have probably looked at them and thought maybe you should help out, but have weighed up the daunting process of signing up for something you're unfamiliar with vs. the gut-wrenching scale of the things people are going through on the ground right now, and you've put it off or questioned whether it will make enough of a difference vs. some other future kind of activism you could put that $6+ towards.
