smh 🙄 starkid tgwdlm the ending twist would literally not work if they give the infected makeup nothing will ever beat the feeling of seeing Paul come onstage at the end and hug Emma and after a moment start singing it's literally such a good stomach-dropping scene literally every scene with the infected relies on the idea that they look INDISTINGUISHABLE from normal humans Charlotte with her husband of many years Bill with his daughter the tragedy is that the people that they love don't recognize them/care for them anymore they look healthy they look okay they look like they used to but something's... off THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT I FEAR just because this production has a bigger budget doesn't mean it has to flashy and big one thing I love about the original is that it's able to do so much with so less the sets and the props are all very minimalistic but it lends itself well to the meta aspect of the story I mean the whole story is about the world becoming a musical cliches and all but not a necessarily high quality production (the infected fuck up multiple times) I don't know if this is making any sense but basically I'm very anti-makeup give me shitty blue gooey brains or give me nothing they literally wouldn't be able to be perceived as approachable or be able to trick anyone if they had intricate makeup on tgwdlm reprised
