"Stay here until I get back, I will only be a couple hours."
That was 10 years ago - 6 years ago he lost hope.
Ranboo was only 6 when his father left, he was only meant to go help with some family issues but never returned.
Little Ran didn't mind in those hours his father left, he played some skyblock - did some parkour. As he played, small ghosts appeared around him and talked to him. They'd have conversations and some of them was even kind enough to vanish some of the meaner ghosts.
It was 4 hours after his father left that he got worried. His ghost friends didn't know who his father was so they couldn't help. He waited and waited for the pop up message to tell him his father joined the server - it never came.
Years pass - ghosts come and go, Ranboo is now 10 years old. Little Ranboo and his green and red jewelled crown. He lost games and won more games. The ghosts helped him figure out how to summon a small blue bird and make posts that would get likes and comments.
He enjoyed life though he missed his father greatly.
He met a friend one day, they met during a skywars lobby. His friend? TapL. Everytime his friend left to do other things Ran would worry that he wouldn't return like his father although he always returned.
TapL told him of a legend from a server that one of his friends was part of, the legend of Technoblade. The name was familiar, very familiar. Maybe it was a name that his father told him, maybe it was his father's name? He couldn't remember. His memory was getting worse as he grew and he was worried that he'd forget everything from his childhood.
Another year passes, he met another friend. He was called Tubbo. They met because his ghost friends kept talking to Tubbo about him. It was funny but he ended up getting blocked twice on Twitter. He met someone else through Tubbo though, her name was Niki. She was the sweetest person that he'd ever met and he looked up to her. She was the closest that he'd ever call a mother or big sister. She'd protect him and care for him. She showed him how to go across servers and to create new world.
He was 14 when Technoblade joined the server once again but by then...Ranboo had forgotten his father's name and only knew the legend of Technoblade so he was excited to say the least to finally "meet" his idol.
Once he reached where Techno stood, he left once he spotted young Ranboo.
Technoblade left the server.
He believed it was his fault, he was half enderman after all. He was 6'5 at 14, it was practically unheard of!
He didn't know Techno had ran off to the Dream SMP and had went to create a small refuge so he could bring Ranboo to the server but it took longer than he thought though he knew he should've realised how long a castle with a village plus walls to protect it would take to build, even with his father's help. He had asked Dream to whitelist the child and through some convincing, Ranboo was whitelisted on the server.
It was Ranboo's 16th birthday at last. 10 years on the dot since his father left. The ghosts were chatting happily amongst themselves as they were talking about what recently happened on the Dream SMP. From what he tuned in to, he could tell there had been some wars and new people had joined. He heard that some Tommy person might be exiled for burning a "Gogy"'s house.
He was in the middle of a skywars game when he got a dm from Dream. He had to hide that he was messaging from the chat though it wasn't hard because they were all busy amongst themselves. Once he won the round, instead of going into another game like expected, he began to joke that he could hack into the Dream SMP.
He opened up a virtual keyboard and began spelling random words before opening the server. His ghost friends were crazy after that and began believing that it wasn't true but after he did some exploring and met with some of the current players, they believed he was on the SMP.
He was killed twice in the first 5 minutes of arriving by Dream.
Once that ordeal was over, he began a tour with Tubbo and Niki and he had a great time. One time Techno joined the server but he immediately left. He didn't have the best first impression with Tommy over his age but they ended up getting along great over their love of chaos.
It was a month into the server when he formally met Technoblade. It was awkward but they warmed up to each other. Techno didn't mention Ranboo being his child until they reached the place that Techno and Phil built for Ranboo. He was brought into the palace and shown the rooms.
He was told the news when they reached Techno's room. He didn't believe it until he was shown a photo album of him as a baby up until Techno left.
Initially, he was angry - pissed even. However, after hearing the the tale Techno told of wars gone and to be, he was still angry but more forgiving.
It took a week for him to settle down and get into a schedule before he and Techno went back to the SMP. It was still awkward but they were working on it. Unsurprisingly, Ranboo was good with a sword. He had grown up with skywars and parkour so his footwork was great.
It was that day where Techno introduced the SMP to his son. He didn't tell anyone where him and Ranboo lived - it was for protection. Ranboo was accepted into the family immediately, he recognised Phil - they had a brief interaction when he was starting to wonder if he should stay on Hypixel or find someplace else to call home though Phil told him to stay in case his father returned.
Everything was good.
Phil, Tommy, Tubbo, Fundy all began to move their primary bases to Techno's house - under Techno's permission. Wilbur was different, his ghost was still tied to L'manberg but his family was leaving him. He revealed himself to Niki a week ago but he hadnt seen her since, it was like she was avoiding him. He had also met another ghost called JSchlatt but whenever he talked to anyone about him they would tell him to stay away from Schlatt but he thought he was cool amd fun to hang around with. He was nervous though because Schlatt would bring him to weird rooms that were familiar yet he couldn't remember them. He was scared but his family was gone.
It took a year for Dream to form an agreememt with Tubbo - Dream will give back the disks but Tubbo has to give up L'Manberg's independance. It was a hard choicw but after seeing how happy his famiky was away from L'Manberg and the bad memories, he made the deal. L'Manberg was once again part of the Dream SMP. "Manifold land" stood strong though Jack had disappeared once again. Niki had left to Techno's house and Niki and Techno began raising Ranboo like their own child, though Niki and Techno weren't a couple though great friends. Niki and Wilbur made up but the best thing happened to him.
He found Sally.
Turns out Sally was taken while she was exploring and eventually died. He told her everything that he remembered and she was forgiving though she gave him a lecture. They found Fundy and it was a tearful exchange. Wilbur properly apologised to Fundy and though Fundy didnt forgive him now - he was willing to start to trust him. Fundy still lived with his family though sometimes visited his parents small home by the lake.
Schlatt left the server and met up with everyone except Wilbur from SMP live. He was happier than he ever was.
George and Eret became two kings, not in love but in close friendship. Eret mainly ruled over the old L' Manburg area but they worked together.
Dream decided he needed to be a bettee fiance and decided to focus more time of Fundy and spent more time with Purpled - who quickly became the little brother he needed, and the rest of the SMP. He invited Drista on the server permanently after his parents sadly passed due to age but he removed her powers. She occasionally leaves the server for school - Dream jokingly made a rule for the children of the server to go to a server based on school but they ended up enjoying it and go very often - but spends more time causing chaos for everyone.
Sapnap sadly died after an accidental arson went wrong and he died in his own fire. He mainly caused chaos for George but spent his death happily watchiny over his friends.
Skeppy and Bad left the server to spend more time with the idots and own personal servers, though Bad sometimes came back to spend time with his friends.
Everyone was happy.
Imagine if ghost Schlatt somehow remembers everything or at least enough to try and cause havoc and since most of L'Manburg only knows about Ghostbur they may blame him. This could somehow lead to Wilbur remembering or possibly try leaving or just something angsty.
On the other hand...
We could have ghost Schlatt and Ghostbur become friends over lost memories and happiness
So, in Wilbur's stream on 24th November 2020, today, near the end it is shown ghostbur in pogtopia so this could either mean that he remembers pogtopia and didn't tell anybody, he already remembers the ravine so it has something to with that or he stumbled upon it while upset because of Fundy's adoption and is starting to remember bits and pieces of pogtopia.
Imagine if he starts to regain his memories then gets angry at people for not telling him what he really did and becomes the villain again. He also seemed really upset at Fundy's adoption and he only remembers Eret as "evil" because of the song so he might try and stop the adoption to try and protect Fundy but ends up possibly making Fundy angry and snap at Wilbur, telling him everything bad he did to Fundy, which could help Wilbur's memories, I'm not sure but Fundy's adoption and Pogtopia being mentioned in the same stream quite close to each other can hardly be a coincidence, especially when its Wilbur and SMP plot.

He heard the whispers as he walked around Pogtopia. He heard Niki crying before he went to sleep. He heard Wilbur plotting with Techno and Tommy. He heard everything.
He knew they didnt trust him - why would they?
He burned Niki's flag
He destroyed the walls
He disowned his own father
He knew what he needed to do to gain their trust - even though it may cost him his life.
Every turn seemed to lead him deeper into a maze, a neverending loop. Until one iron door.

It opens.
Standing in the doorway is a clearly angered Wilbur, "What is it Fundy? We're busy." The sharpness in his tone made him hesitate before stating, "I'm going to Manburg in the morning, I probably wont return. You'll know why soon enough." Before the words could set in, he left to his room. He spent the rest of the night writing letters to all of Pogtopia, mostly sorries, but two letters were different.
One letter expressed death, another victory.
True to his word, once daylight hit him, he broke through the dirt and headed towards his old home. It was midday when he finally arrived, he met with Schlatt within the hour.
He and Schlatt were facing each other, bows drawn by 3pm.
Eret stood between them holding the two letters. Nobody saw the trio - Wilbur, Techno and Niki - hiding as they watched the duel go down.

Eret took one step back, a small one, not wanting to see the results of the fight. He knew Fundy was a spy for a while now but he also knew of the acts that he did. Fundy was and would always be his friend - his karaoke partner - his platonic soulmate.

Another step. The crowd around them getting nervous and antsy.

Schlatt smirks and releases the arrow prematurely - barely grazing Eret...but it hit Fundy the opposite side of his heart.
They ran to their friend. Wilbur's sight blurred from tears, his son - his only son. His true unfinished symphony. He held onto Fundy tightly as Niki was held by Eret, them both crying for their old friend. Even though she thought of him as a traitor this past month, he was her best friend while part of L'Manburg.
He grabbed onto his father loosely, "I tried, Pa. I tried to get you home." His eyes were glazed over, he was looking around but he couldn't see anything, "I know, my son. You did everything just right. We'll be home soon." Fundy's last remaining vision started to fade, "Kill him for me, Pa. Go home. Build up L-L'Manberg."
"Of course, my son, I love you."
The last 3 words would forever be unheard by the fox...
One final phrase left Wilbur's mouth that night - he was going to respect Fundy's final wish.
"Technoblade, opperation JFK."

However, one fanbase I dont mind is the Ranboo fandom because as far as I can see on Twitter, they don't seem toxic. That might be because it is small, compared to Dream and Tommy etc, but they seem like a nice community. Ranboo is a very interactive youtuber, hell he's a Tiktoker, he grew from that app, and not toxic as far as I can tell. Feel free to educate me otherwise but that's my opinion but I'm relatively new so I may not know his entire history
As chaotic as Mcytblr can be, it is honestly one of the most peaceful mcyt places out there (at least in relation to Dream SMP) so lets try and not actively get ccs on here because then the Twitter stans will come and it'll become too chaotic and may even toxic
