  A friendly reminder to all those who frequent my blog: if you happen to be a racist, transphobe, homophobe, anti-semite or another sort of bigot, you are not welcome here. Leave.

  We’ve allowed bigotry to run rampant in the Hetalia fandom, and too little of us have made effort to stop such behaviour. Just yesterday, a literal Nazi started up an ask blog. If you care to look closely, you’ll find scum like this everywhere - on Wattpad and AO3 are racist fanfictions, on Instagram are groupchats filled with transphobes and here on Tumblr, there’s fanart of real-life issues that should never be used as means to create content.

  We should’ve put a stop to this months ago, when people started making art and fanfics of COVID-19, such as APH China infecting APH Italy. As a Chinese person, do you know how much it hurts to see your nation being boiled down to be nothing but a dirty spreader of disease? In many other cases, such as the Mexico OC that sparked lots of controversy a few weeks ago, fellow POC fans and Jewish fans have been hurt by the racism in the fandom.

  This has been going on for too long, long enough that we have to get our heads out of our behinds and actually take action to get rid of the bigotry that has sunken its claws into our community.

  Guys, it’s going to take a lot of effort to rid the fandom of bigotry, but if we stop fighting over petty issues like ships and work together, it’s possible. Report any bigots found on social media, call out racist, anti-semitic or transphobic content and listen to what POC, Jewish and other minority fans have to say. “Trolling” is not an excuse, that doesn’t justify the discriminative actions of such people. Legitimate or not, discrimination has to go.

  Don’t send hate anons or try to debate these people. Just report and block them; they don’t deserve our attention. They have no place in this fandom, and it’s high time we remind them of this.

  And before I end this post, I’d like to apologise for only speaking up about this now. I’ll no longer be silent about this, I refuse to be complicit in the problem.

I am now drawing after a prompt list I found online, because I am unoriginal as heck.

If someone wants me to draw something, please say it. I need more things to draw!

Trying really hard not to give up but it has just been so much lately... I have like 3 drawings already started, 2 fanfics AND I have math exam... I will try to finish the drawings, and I WILL get good grades on my exam, I just have to take a minute to practice...But I am really trying to not give up!
