this post made me realize people were not taught PEMDAS like I was. My teachers taught it like:

P: Parenthesis

E: Exponents

M/D: Multiply and Divide, in whatever order they appear in the equation

A/S: Add and Subtract, again in whatever order they appear

I feel so sad that there are people out here multiplying first when division comes up first in the equation…

So I have this comic I’m working on and I want to finish the first part of the chapter (what I call the ‘storybook section’) before I show it or even mention it to my friends because I want it to be this big random surprise, but it’s just so hard!
