Spread out across the floor, laying on my back looking up at the ceiling I hear her crying in the bathroom I just stare at the shadows crawling slowly across the walls Nothing inside me anymore It's almost as if I don't even care She cries and I stare up and off into space
Adam, please don't be gone for too long. Your intelligence and voice of reason is needed in the increasingly dumb-down world of gaming reviews.
After some incredible achievements over the last year and a half, I am announcing my departure from Rev3 Games and Discovery Digital Networks. Sixteen years in front of the camera covering the videogame industry has brought me to a point where I am ready and desiring to explore new...

Time waits for no-one
Always rolling, flying, gone!
Left behind alone...
Loneliness is a feeling I’ve often felt Gasping for air Gooseflesh covering my forearms Cold to the core I never get use to the emptiness
"I am alone", I say to myself in a somber voice As I drift through my mind, I reflect on thoughts and alternative realms of reality, realms that are warmer. I try to muster hope and hold on to her hand, but I do not allow myself to be fooled by her fickle nature.

Love is a flower
it is beautiful and full of life
take care of it and it will grow strong and produce fruit
Love is a flower
neglect it and it dies
slowly but surly it decays it fades to ash

Super cool Chineasy character illustrations.
I like them a lot, but am admittedly a bit torn on some of them as teaching tools. Although not all chinese characters are pictographs (symbols that are drawn to look like the things they represent), some are - as easily seen above with kou, the mouth, and ren, the person.
Nu, the woman, is also a pictograph - but it’s meant to represent the entire figure of a woman, head, limbs, and torso, not just the face. If you ignore the drawing around it and just focus on the character strokes, I think you can easily see her.
If characters already have pictographic roots, I don’t think it’s entirely necessary to create new ones. Particularly when other, more complex characters may later incorporate those same pictographic roots to make a new meaning - creating new ones could unnecessarily confuse a learner.
