Man, I still can't get over that they actually acknowledged our boy as a hero in AC Nexus. And it's just...ugh. I feel that so much. It’s wild how one line—“Sounds like a hero”— can land like a punch to the chest when you've been carrying that love for him for so long. It’s like the franchise finally saw him the way some of us always did. Not as just another assassin, not as some angry young man, but as someone who sacrificed, who stood firm even when it cost him everything.

It’s the kind of line that doesn’t just validate the character—it validates you as a fan. Like, yes, you were right to see the hero in him all along. You weren’t imagining his quiet strength or the tragedy of his journey. The series looked back and said, “Yeah. He mattered.”
