I mean... I also thought quirks were supposed to do a single thing and awakenings just improve over the original thing but then... Horikoshi came up with Dabi suddlenly developing an ice side because of a quirk awakening, so is safe to asume awakenings can be use as an excuse to add whatever effect you want.

If Horikoshi don't see a problem with that me neither.

As for Katsuma, her quirk being deadly under that innocent look is also another callback to Shinobu Kocho who in case you didn't watch KNY, she also this gifted doctor but fight using deadly and painful poison because being to weak for cut head.

Everytime I've see questions about "how Deku would collaborate with villains?" but people never think on him being with the yakuza, but rather the lov which I would never understand. Wtf Izuku/Izumi would have to do with a bunch of crazy losers?

Being on Chisaki’s gang fits way better for Midoriya, not only because of Eri and Chisaki themselves, but the rest of the yakuza members would adapt way better to her personality as they are capable of basic human decency unlike most of the league of lames.

My point being, I love the "Midoriya joins the yakuza" kind of stories and I need see more of that in fanfics.

I'm not even the biggest fan of Dabi in terms of looks, but always found very weird how the anime constantly makes him look way more defined and with bigger muscles than he has in the manga.

Isn't a bit contradictory for his character to look super ripped? Horikoshi clearly drawn Dabi in that specific way because the story makes emphasis on his body being more frail due having a weak constitution, also contrasting him to the rest of mens in the family who got the big and strong constitution of Enji, Natsuo especially. The anime just lose all the meaning behind that.

And this is more of a personal preference but I find Dabi's body in the manga to look much more attractive and less generic than in the anime. Skinny guys can look attractive as well.

Let me start with this. Have you seen how in the Tumblr the tags of dabi x reader and shig x reader there a HUGE contrast in quality? Shig is depicted as a creepy and weirdo incel while Dabi IS "I'LL STEAL YOUR WIFE😏"

now on a controversial take. I do like the idea of dabi losing his scars. Why? Would increase his quality of life...I find odd how everyone in LoV accepts Dr. Evil's word and never try to take a second opinion. Also, without the scars Dabi would look way more like Endy making his claim be more powerful.

(not a fan of erasing Shig's scars nor the "crusty" jokes. Shig is handsome with his scars)

Now onto your ask: I think Bones just like to make characters hot in a conventional way, JJK men got to be hotter than the manga. But I do notice how bones lacks in translate the manga to anime. Some of the scenes of the manga were done so dirty.

Dabi became hotter aka buffer bc of this. Btw, many dabi x reader like to make the reader have a healing quirk (it should be a trope by now) just so it can heal dabi...which no one account that dabi IS self destructive, a healing quirk is nice but he would do again...unless he changes his mindset (I'm trying to explore this in my fic called besties)

Ask yourself: did shig NEEDED to be buffaraki? Was afo the quirk really need you to be buff?

So to answer: Dabi is attractive in any shape. His writing trumps over shig any day even if shig IS more attractive than Dabi.

Most likely yes, considering he already ruined the best villain he ever created who was Overhaul.

And even if Nine was present in the manga I can assure you Horikoshi would have used him as another cheap way to elevate crusty idiot, not any different of what happens in the movie.

Fun trivia: In the character page for Nine in the Volume Rising, we can see in Horikoshi sketches that the palms of his hands were supposed to have the little holes that allow an AFO user to physically steal quirks.

Yet, in the movie itself the holes are totally absent from Nine's hands despite his gloves are clearly designed with that specific function in mind.

I guess the production just totally missed that detail in the translation from Hori sketches?

So...in a beach day, Izumi in her bikini is a character development visually.

The orca thing was actually canon? I always thought it cames from that "smash" comic that was explicitly non canon and self parody.

Anyways, while I'm not super into big boobs for woman to be considered attractive, is a fact that if Midoriya was a woman she would have the same atributes as Inko who certainly has very generous proportions.

And Cider surely likes that, and oh boy he sure isn't shy to express how much he likes the body of his girl (scars included of course).

And do you think Izumi is into guy with big pecs? Because Cider got some nice ones and he loves use tank tops just to make them look better.

Them having a good day in the water is all what they deserve after dealing with a lot of shit. And Izumi is a quick learner so by the end of the day she would be surfing like a professional, impressing Cider.

I like to think they would end the day looking at the sunset sitting together on the warm sand, Izumi resting her head on Mizunami shoulder and he has an arm wrapped around her waist. They got a kissing sessions of course, what a way to end a good day.

A lot of AFO backstory and motivations seem to be an after thought to be honest.

Hell I firmly believe he and Yoichi being twins is a retcon. Because these two clearly were originally written to be oldest and little sibling, AFO clearly looking way more old than Yoichi in terms of overall look and aptitude.

Beside is funny how based on his look at the moment of his death Yoichi must have been a middle age man, because AFO looks like his middle age self in the flashbacks. But Yoichi clearly look, sound and acts like a young man in his 20s or something. A lot of thing doesn't make sense if you put the twins idea in context.

And yes, KudoIchi and Kudo in general are just bait for the bkdk shippers. Notice how the character has nothing outside that ship content.

Which is ironic because out of all the vestiges which are plain and boring af, Kudo at least had an interesting base for a character but he ended with zero personality and being a dick to other characters no named Yoichi for no reason. And his fans only like him for being discount Bakugou.

At least got me laughing with that omake of Nine and Cider.

Also Shoto and Giyuu don't share VA, in japanese Shoto shares VA with Sabito aka Giyuu's best friend.

But fun trivia: Giyuu and Nine got the same dub VA in english.

Canon possum is a joke but one thing I never forget is how decay IS powerful, sure a powerful quirk with an idiot is not a good thing in many fronts but...

Again, shig is an idiot and a bad leader and all that but one thing we can't deny is he knows how to fight.

So I think cinder would make a point to avoid him like the plague.

In canon Cider is the kind of person who knows he shouldn't bite off more than he can chew, since after all his plan during his debut was to steal during a very specific moment in which heroes aren't present, so is more reward without having to fight and less risk.

It was just a coincidence that A.M was there with Bakugou and Todoroki.

I guess his mentality also applies to fight dangerous villains, and the lov had some big names attached them. Their reputation probably was enough for Cider to not have his gang involved with such group of psychos.

But... I disagree on Shigaraki being a good fighter.

Maybe before all the bs power ups given by the doctor he at least knew how do surprise attacks and such, but Decay being such a one-dimensional quirk also means the user doesn't require a lot of skill to put it in use. It is basically just run towards the enemy and touch for instakill.

Which became even more braindead post awakening. Like even Overhaul has more room to be creative and need skill to put in use.

Decay is just a broken and boring quirk that requieres nothing to be effective. Crusty asshole somehow manages to be more plain than he already was at first, is like he evolves in reverse.

The true canon story, they became a power couple.

Random take but: Stain had the coolest and most insane boots design on his debut.

Like we should normalize black leather boots with a lot of metal and with small chains for laces, that looks cool as hell.

Also notice how in the sketch there's seems to be a sticky substance under the armor plates, that detail is absent in the movie.

Tbh I think at that stage if Gojo knows about all the drama it could actually be detrimental for Geto's plan. He's not quite mature yet...

Which makes me wonder if Suguru would feel all that comfortable dating Gojo considering he would be an adult in the body of a teen again. You know despite he obviously still loves him and all seems rainbows and flowers at first, it probably would be a little akward situation realize everyone regresed to a past self but in Geto's case he has literally a life worth of experience.

I can see Suguru feeling a bit alone again for pretty different reasons.

My guess is probably he could request to talk with Tengen (I don't remember if they actually can do it all time but whatever) and ask him for more info on Kenjaku and such. He probably would be one of the only (if not the only) persons to understand Suguru position with the time travel and such.

And Suguru probably would wait a few years to reveal the truth. I think it would be for the good in the end, even if Saturo will feel a bit betrayed at first for being excluded.

Its just....if Mirko has to be shipped with a villain, dabi could work. Now it doesn't mean it will be a sweet romance...it think it would be dark. A one night stand type of deal where dabi thinks Mirko is as villainous as he is (she likes to beat up villains, she goes for the kill)

That being said Mirko isn't a character I'm very invested, but considering how popular she's overall obviously there's a lot of ships with her. For some reason many people love ship her with Shigaraki... ew why that's even a thing?

I never seen any Mirko x Dabi content but it can't be as bad as that other. And she would probably dominate Dabi which is always a plus to see.

Perhaps the only Mirko ship that got my interest a bit is her and Rappa, mainly because the fun chemistry they got in Vigilantes. We can considerer him an time to time villain?

That idea about Burnin came out of nowhere really, her chaotic personality just make this kind of situations write themselves. She's also the kind of person who could drive mr. edgelord crazy because he can't stand her energy.
