In an interesting article, Astronomy.com ponders how close is Jupiter to being a star, and could it maybe one day become on.
When it comes to stars, Mass is all that matters (there’s a joke hidden in that statement, groan !!)
A star becomes a star when the pressure at the centre caused by gravity is sufficient to fuse Hydrogen, and as it turns out, the mass of Jupiter is about 85 times less than the mass required to cause that kind of fusion to occur.
So, unless Jupiter finds 85 times it’s mass and obtains it, it’s nowhere near the size needed to become a star, and is very unlikely to ever be so.
There is however a middle way, because it turns out that Hydrogen as H2 isn’t the first thing to begin fusing, H3 (deuterium) can begin to fuse at much lower pressures, around 13 times the mass of Jupiter.
If this did happen, it would make Jupiter a brown dwarf, but again, 13 times it’s current total mass is unlikely to happen.

I bound my breasts almost full time for around 2 years before I had my mastectomy. As a result, my lung capacity is reduced and the muscles around my ribcage are still much less strong than they were before I began binding, even though it has been over a year now since I have worn a binder or even a bra. I even bound ‘safely’ using an Underworks compression vest in the correct size, never with ace bandages or any other methods. I still can’t take a full, deep breath like I used to.
Does anyone have any tricks to regaining lung capacity and strengthening the rib/chest/abdominal muscles after binding? I’m not sure how to increase lung capacity itself or how to exercise the particular muscles that have been effected but I’d like to regain some strength if possible.
Girls with muscles is so attractive and anyone who says less don’t know shit
The way I see it, whenever I get nasty looks for my body hair (from other women) I just think to myself, one day they're going to forget or they'll be drained, or they're in a rush to go somewhere, or whatever have you, and they're gonna be tired and they're still going to want to shave. And I like to think that if they don't shave for whatever reason that day, maybe they'll think of that girl that didn't try at all, and they'll feel more comfortable. Whenever I use to see women unshaved, I first judged, and then I would feel envious. Like, how does she not care? How does she not want to hide? But those women eventually gave the courage to give up shaving as well. And I feel so much better for it. I use to think I was trans, but ever since I let myself be human and natural a lot of my dysphoria went away- bc I was human, for once. I think you letting your natural hair grow can only positively effect the world ❤️
i’m not crying, you’re crying

Taking advantage of a total lunar eclipse, astronomers using our Hubble Space Telescope have detected ozone in our atmosphere. Why’s this important? 🔭 Researchers can now use this new method – and space telescopes – to continue the search for life in our universe. Find out more HERE.
