here is your gentle reminder that there are dandelions growing through cracks in the sidewalk. there is a fence lizard on the porch who is growing a new tail. there are trees growing through an abandoned house, branches tearing through the ceiling, ferns carpeting the floor. there is life pushing forward, pushing through. 

you don’t have to take on an identity in order to stop participating in the tedium and body punishment of patriarchal femininity. you don’t need an excuse, you don’t need to explain, and you don’t need anyone’s permission. its your birthright that was hidden from you your whole life. you can reach out and take it if you desire it.

my fave thing about being alive is that there is nothing that cannot be learned. tapestry weaving, astrophysics, swimming. music, theremin, singing. cutting your own hair, dancing, quantum mathematics. sewing, philosophy, social skills. knowledge is divine, but sharing it is human !!!

Dragon’s Head Nebula NGC 2035

NGC 2035 can be found in the Large Magellanic Cloud dwarf galaxy that circles our Milky Way galaxy at around 150,000 light years from us. It is an emissions nebula, so is glowing from interaction with ultra violet light of nearby stars. 

I refuse to be ashamed of letting my body hair be visible. Someone says “you don’t shave your legs?!” I say “Of course not.” Especially if a man says it to me. I’d say “Why, do you?” Fuck that. I will not pretend it’s my problem to exist in my natural state. I will make sure people know they’re the ones in the wrong for trying to make me change.
