Advent children was a good movie but I still don’t think Cloud got truly over Aerith.

I feel like he got over her similar to getting over a breakup. I think he got better at coping with it. Similar to how getting triggered by small things that remind you of your ex, you just take the triggers as face-value as a coping mechanism.

For example, flowers and scenic landscapes remind him of Aerith, but they’re also just pretty and worth taking photos of.

In the credits, he printed out many photos of different landscapes. Someone said maybe it’s because he sees Aerith in those photos or he just took up photography as a new hobby as we all do :/

Regardless, I’m glad he’s happy but I got a feeling he’s still looking forward to going to promised land/heaven so he can be with Aerith.

Can’t believe there was never a moment in the game where Clive called his brother Josh. Would have been hilarious.

Also where did the Clive who was just as dotting as his mother go?

When Joshua came back, I thought Clive would do the whole big brother thing he did when he was 15 but then realize he can’t scold his adult brother anymore.

All I want is grown man Clive telling Joshua the silly times they had when they were kids. Fond memories of him and Joshua playing or something. Why don’t they share stories of their youth? The last time Clive saw his baby brother was when he was 10. No comments about his appearance or anything?

We NEED MORE GAMER GIRLIES OR THOSE WHO CARE ABOUT THE INTEGRITY OF SEPHY FANFICS. People who love Sephy and played the game will look up the fanfics after playing or something, only to find it mainly or noticeably coming from folks who didn’t get his character because they only watched crisis core on YouTube and skipped half of the cutscenes that didn’t feature him. That are they watched advent children and based his entire dom daddy personality on that alone and nothing else.

We are fully capable of writing good Sephy fics if more people took the time to actually enjoy FF7, not just watch the spin off material and call it a day.

PLEASE PLAY THE GAMES. Dont just watch only watch the 40 minute Sephiroth cutscene on YouTube and base your entire perception of the guy. If yall at least learned the plot of the game, you would really appreciate the character more.

MORE OVER, THE QUALITY OF SEPHIROTH FANFICS WOULD INCREASE SIGNIFICANTLY IF YALL COULD REFERENCES SOME OF THE GAME’S LOCATIONS AND NAIL DOWN SUPPORTING CHARACTER MOTIVATIONS AND PERSONALITY.

Some of yall don’t know Sephiroth’s characterization and seem to go off your personal headcanons or use typical anime tropes when writing him. Sephiroth isn’t some anime bad boy, he’s vindictive, petty and scary soft spoken. Just look at how he flicked Aerith’s blood off his masamune towards Cloud. Or when his hand kept running up Cloud’s back and up unto his neck in one of Cloud’s hallucinations. I get that from watching clips out of context, his actions might seem like a dom daddy and all but he’s more than that if you see it through different perspectives. Like don’t forget, he’s trying to destroy the world with a giant meteor crashing down and wiping everyone out.
