We Need To Erase The Light In A Character's Eyes More Often. It's Enriching For Them To Look Completely

hi so. Im a big fan of your writing, MuTT specifically (like it literally changed my life when i was younger) and i totally understand that you're not really writing anymore. However. I have a proposal, out of complete desperation. I would literally be willing to pay you any amount if you were willing to finish it and either publish it or send it to me. and i totally understand if you’re not interested i just needed to try lol (also sending this not on anon in case you answer so i can actually see the response)

Hiya, firstly, thanks so much for being so invested in my writing! I appreciate it. I have indeed ALMOST entirely stopped writing (and recently even drawing, I haven't done any fanart in almost a year) but I don't consider these things abandoned. I really have every intention of eventually continuing MuTT, no payment required. I actually loved writing it, I just don't have time like I used to, so hobbies fall by the way side, you know? I am interested in finishing MuTT! I swear, I just don't know when it'll happen. But I'll tell you what, if I ever decide to actually discontinue it, I'll post a summary of what was SUPPOSED to happen (because I know how I intend it to end) so there'll be closure. But that's a very big IF, since I do want to write it to the end properly. 😭

it’s okay to acknowledge that Peridot and Lapis’s relationship wasn’t perfect, that Peridot was afraid of her and afraid of upsetting her, that Lapis is a flawed character, that there was an unhealthy amount of reliance Peridot had on Lapis being there. just because you like lapidot (and i do) doesn’t mean you can’t accept that their relationship up to this point was flawed, that Lapis has done bad things and hurt people. This is why Lapis leaving happened- so they can both separately come to terms with themselves and what was wrong, and when they see each other again, apologize and work on a healthy relationship. Because it’s obvious they legitimately care about each other, and it’s important that they understand each other fully.

I love my gay farmer aunts as much as the next person, and because of that I’m happy that they have this character development to experience.
