Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I just got a new job, and writers block is kicking my butt right now 😅. Lol, so to tide you all over, here are some Joule NSFW headcanons that my brain managed to spit out.

Joule x reader

Joule is sexy and she knows it, and so do you honestly, and Joule's fiery and playful personality, along with her unwavering confidence, made her extraordinarily desirable. Like who wouldn't want her in their bed. Witch means that by the time you and Joule started dating, Joule had a good amount more sexual experience than you.

But what surprised Joule the most was how different she wanted things to go when it came to you. You weren't some one-night-stand that she'd forget about in a week. You weren't a random person she thought would be a fun fling. You weren't some person hitting on her at a party. You are her partner, her lover, the person she loves with her hole self. Everything about this was different, and that exited her.

Joule was rather grateful for you sitting her down and talking about boundaries because this is where it really hit her that this was going to be different for her.

Joule had always preferred doggy style or any position that had her and that other person not face to face. She didn't care about them on a personal level this was just about pleasure, transactional.

Oh, and Joule will 100% be very pleased with herself when she sees that both of your necks are covered in hickeys in the morning.

Ok, sense we both established the fact that we love the components I'm going to spam requests for them. (I'm only half joking) You said Wrench likes the thought of being called the readers truck/component. So what if someone actually called the components engine readers truck/component not knowing they are actually employed by Electra. How do they react to this?

Bonus point idea, after the components correct the person that they are actually Electras truck/component reader seeing an opportunity to tease their partner a little rolls over and whispers with a smile "you may not be my Truck/component, but you are mine." How red do their faces turn after hearing that. (You obviously don't have to use the bonus idea i just thought it was cute.)

Incredibly stunned. She would assume that most people would pick out that she’s Electra’s repair truck from a mile away. After all she kind of literally says it in her intro and she’s practically glued to his side, just like everyone else of the components.

She’s not against it though. If anything, the fact that she suddenly gets called yours actually fills her with a warm feeling in her stomach. She can’t help, but smile while she tells the person that she is not in fact your component, instead she’s Electra’s repair truck.

On the outside she doesn’t even flinch. She looks surprised for a moment, but quickly corrects the person in a professional way that only few can truly master. On the inside though she’s kind of giddy as it brings a smile to her face, maybe one day, but Electra was an amazing boss so she’d stick with them for as long as she’ll have her.

What she wasn’t expecting was you having listened in on the conversation and slowly rolling up to Wrench and wrapping your arms around her waist from behind. With a grin on your face you leaned into her ear. “You’re not my repair truck, but you’ll always be mine.” You whispered in her ear before giving her a soft kiss against her temple.

She pushes you away with a fond eye roll and a smile on her face, but you made her heart absolutely explode with love. Wrench in the comfort of her home is definitely going to have to recover from this one as she never thought she’d get this happy from one single comment. 

You’ve captured her heart and she couldn’t be more glad that it’s you who did it. 

Killerwatt

???? He’s???? Literally????? With Electra???? All the time???? He’s even more stunned and confused than Wrench was. He’s the security truck of Electra and spends a lot more time with the electric engine than you, because it’s his literal job to protect him. 

He’s kind of too stunned to really process it properly. He just corrects the person as nice as his blunt and serious personality can and then just leaves it at that. He won’t let it show just how confused he is, but know that he is extremely confused.

You simply chuckle while rolling up to him. “I guess you’re not my security truck, but I’ll always feel safe for you. After all you’re all mine, forever.” You said with a grin and leaned towards him to kiss his jaw.

Becomes the cat gif with a loading circle on its head, because he doesn’t get it for a bit. When the entire conversation that just happened fully processed he actually gets a light blush on his face and tries to kind of hide his face by looking away and such. 

He feels a little shy about being called yours and your words hit him right into his heart. You make him extremely happy, he just doesn’t know how to properly deal with those feelings.

So instead he just rolls up to you at some point in the day, wraps his arms around you protectively and just stands there hugging you for a while. It’s his way of saying thank you for your kind words and saying I love you.

He’ll always protect you, no matter what. 

Volta

Will be stunned by the sheer audacity. She is kind of standing there like “??? Are you dumb?” Don’t get her wrong, she absolutely loves you with all of her heart, but anyone with a brain can see she’s not your component and is actually Electra’s and is quite frankly offended by anyone thinking differently. 

Although she likes to be called yours, in regards to job stuff she does not like to be in her eyes ‘undermined’ in that way. She’s just really dedicated to her job and doesn’t like for people to kind of throw away all of her obvious hard work for Electra in that way.

You kind of stayed away from her for a little bit to stew in her anger for a bit, before she sighed out a long breath, letting it freeze over. You rolled up to her and gave her a soft hug from the front. “I know you’re not my freezer truck, but I’m really proud to call you mine in every other way.” 

She wasn’t expecting that comment from you and she hates the fact that she completely melts into your touch after you say it, but for now she can allow herself to be vulnerable. For now at least.

She’ll let you have this moment with her this time. We don’t talk about how she really needed this as well and that she’s enjoying just as much as you if not more.

Volta does love you with all of her heart and will absolutely love the way you call her yours, even if it’s not for a job. Then again it’s never a chore or job to be around you for her <3

Joule

Laughs immediately. She would think it’s so hilarious that she got confused with being your dynamite truck instead of Electra’s. After all, in her eyes it’s pretty obvious who’s she really is.

But she’s never been the one to really correct people. If anything she immediately agrees with the person just to cause some chaos. It was getting boring around the yard anyways and this was practically a gift from the starlight itself. 

You saw this all happening and fondly rolled your eyes as you knew what she was doing and were used to it by now. You rolled up to her side and side-hugged her with a small grin on your face. “You’re my dynamite truck all of a sudden? I doubt Electra would be happy with that.” 

“Exactly! It’s fun to rile them up.” Joule said while wiggling her shoulders into you with a playful smirk on her face. You were used to this from Joule by now and it was extremely fun to always see.

“Well even though you’re just playing with them. I’m lucky I can call you mine.” You said with a kiss against her cheek. You actually managed to throw her off her rhythm if only for a second.

Be prepared to catch her, because she will pounce and put her legs around your waist and will attack you in kisses and there’s nothing that you can do about this particular part. 

Absolutely will poke you to call her yours more often, because it really makes her happy and she really is kinda craving more of that kind of attention. 

Null

Honestly, look at the person if they’re stupid. Like have they not seen him introducing himself as Electra’s cooler truck?? What did you not understand from his introduction? He’s confused and judging the person, because he’s a mean boy.  (Also in my brain they’re all a thing so Null is the cooler bc why would someone have two freezer trucks?)

He would just stare them down with a ‘Oh you’re dumb’ look until they leave. He’s not going to sit there and take that slander. Yes he loves you with all of his heart, no he doesn’t work for you and it doesn’t take a genius to see that.

When you roll up to him he’ll be all over you, just like he is whenever someone did some stupid shit. He just likes hanging off of you dramatically whenever some shit happens. It’s his favorite thing to do. So he’s just hanging off of your arm complaining about what just happened.

You just let him hang off of you and go. “Well you might not be my cooler, but you’re mine.” You just grab him by his hips and pull him close.

How to get Null to want to do everything for you. Tell him those words exactly. He’ll want to do everything for you, give you all the affection, cook for you, clean for you. Literally everything. 

He will stare at you with love eyes for the rest of the day. I don’t make the rules I just follow them

Krupp

Isn’t confused or surprised or anything really. Just gently correct the person, because no he’s not your armaments truck, he’s Electra’s and he is very happy working under his boss so that’s not going to change very soon either.

He would be kind of worried he’d make you upset by the bold statement he kind of threw out there almost immediately, but the fact you come rolling up to him with a grin on your face, immediately puts him back at ease. 

You rolling up to him and just burying your face in his chest and then looking up at him with a grin like. “You’re not my armaments truck, but I do like the ring of you being called mine.” 

Kind of stares at you blankly, but you have been enough around Krupp to know he’s kind of flustered even though he doesn’t blush that easily. You just felt the warmth of his cheeks and just the slight movement of his face that gave him away.

You just giggle. “Love you too Krupp. I’ll be sure to call you mine more often.” 

This man is extremely happy, but in a stoic kind of almost shy way. He’s not good at feelings, but he enjoys being called yours a lot and will absolutely do little things to keep you calling him yours <3

Purse

The most lethal side eye that someone has ever seen from him. Like you’re saying that his obvious dedication for Electra is not being shown? His hard work as being an accountant and the literal money truck for the ever famous and rich Electra, is not being obviously seen? Audacity.

Honestly he doesn’t even stop and think that he was called yours for a moment. He just kind of moves on with his life and later complains to you. He gets kind of annoyed that you start laughing at him and is all pouty with you.

That is until you pull him on your lap and smirk at him while going. “Well you might be Electra’s amazing and competent money truck, but you’re all mine besides that.” Also giving him a kiss against his lips.

That’s when he’s just like “... Oh…. oh” and what I imagine is kind of like the Debbie Ryan hair tuck, because he’s super into that. Suddenly is kind of obsessed with you calling him yours

Your nickname you use for him better now include ‘my’ in front of it or ‘mine’ in general because he’ll take absolutely nothing less from then on. He wants to be called yours all the time and if anyone makes the same mistake again? Well maybe next time he won’t get as mad as he did before..

Lol Option 2 and Option 3 are tied with 43.5% each so I'm going to do Option 3 Fluff first, so Option 2 Hurt/Comfort hurts more 😄.

Ok, I've had a few ideas for Joule X Fire engine (most likely steamer) reader (aka a fire fighter reader) that I want all of your opinions on. I'll probably bo all of them at some point, but I need you all to pick one so I can focus on one at a time.

OK, HERE WE GO!

1. Reader comes home after a hard tramatizing day at work and needs their GF's cuddles.

2. Reader goes on a dangerous mission on a broken bridge with their team, and Joule is watching on the monitors form the yard. Reader nearly falls off, and Joule sees the hole thing. Neather of them are ok after that and need to be in each other's arms.

3. How Joule won the heart of the lead fire engine with her feisty personality and clever pyrotechnic skills.

What if, for Greaseball, Rusty, Hydra (and maybe Dinah too? 👀) with a reader who is VERY obviously smitten with them?

Like as soon as said character sees reader for the first time they just see reader develop giant heart eyes in real-time

Greaseball

-Suuuper smug when you first meet

-At first she probably thinks you're just another of her many fans

-However, you're one of the first to actively try to get closer to her! Sure, a few other fans have tried, but most did too much ,to a point of restraining orders, or stopped after a week, usually finding a new obsession 

-But not you. You stayed persistent, while respecting boundaries :)

-she revels in the attention you give her; you honestly need to be careful, before her already-over-the-top ego grows even bigger!! 

-whenever she decides she needs extra attention, she'll  just wait for you to come around, and goes "I'm so pretty, aren't I?" or purposefully works out in front of you, and she'll fully expect you to feed into her ego, once again (you do) (this is canon, this is basically just "pumping Iron"-) 

-Eventually, you become a constant in her life, something, or rather someone, she can rely on to be there, even during the chaos of the races.

-she doesn't even realise that she looks longingly after you, when you do have to go. Starlight forbid anyone ever calls her out on it, though :p

-She really notices this, when you weren't there during a smaller race (maybe you got sick, maybe you were busy racing yourself, ect.). She finds herself visibly annoyed at the lack of attention before the race. Sure her fans were there, but it just wasn't the same. She beat up so many other trains during that race.

-When she gets back to the yard, she just sits there for a while, contemplating. because your missing presence should not affect the champion this much.

-Eventually she comes to terms with the fact that she likes you, and starts to reciprocate your affection ever so slightly. For example, if you hug her, she'll put an arm around your waist!

-It may not be much, but it's a start! she isn't used to caring this much. yet ;)

Rusty

-Poor boy is shocked.

-There are so many powerful and fast engines rolling around the yard - the champion herself is there! And yet you like him? a shunter engine?!

-Safe to say, he isn't used to the attention; it flusters him!

-Every time you as much as put a hand on his shoulder, he turns red and steam comes out  of his ears! Every time you hug him, he just freezes in place, as if turned to stone! The first few times you thought the corrosion had finally eaten away at his train equivalent of a brain

-However, he'd be lying if he said that he minds; he isn't exactly used to attention, let alone kindness. Sure, the carriages are nice, but aside from Pearl, he wouldn't be surprised if it's out of pity - not to mention, that it's a nice change of pace, compared to the bullying he endures from Greaseball and her Gang

-Despite how shy he gets, he tries to reciprocate, but he usually ends up making it awkward.. He doesn't mean to, he just genuinely doesn't know what he's doing, he's not used to this level of affection! 

-But you don't mind - you'd dare to call it endearing :) and that gives him some confidence, that you won't leave the moment you have a chance with one of the big shots

-He slowly starts to get used to your affection, and becomes less awkward himself! He no longer breaks at every touch! In fact, he starts to lean into your touches, finding them more comforting than anything

-Eventually, he even starts seeking you out himself, especially on days where work was exhausting, or Greaseballs gang was extra mean

-You become a sort of save space for him, someone he knows he can always turn to, someone who won't judge him for being himself

-By now, the way he looks at you has by far surpassed your own heart eyes. You may have fallen first, but he fell so much harder :)

Hydra

-Another smug one, but in a less egotistical way

-After his constant preaching about Hydrogen being the best option, it just feels good to be appreciated for once, instead of turned away!

-...even if technically isn't exactly because of that.. shhh, let the guy dream

- He really just lets you, he won't exactly reciprocate at first, but he doesn't mind! simply takes it as a compliment, and side hug you, at most

-Though conversation are bound to happen, considering how much time you spent around him; no matter if he's practicing for races, doing his job as a fuel truck, preaching about hydrogen, or simply taking a break, you are almost always around the corner 

- Turns out you two actually have a lot in common, and you don't mind his passion for protecting the environment either! 

-After a while, you two can usually be seen huddled together, laughing about something stupid, or simply talking about the most random things, barely ever even inches apart!

-The other freight trains definitely tease him about it; they give him teasing looks when you're together, or jokingly mimicking you two

-Just like with the previous two, it starts to be a lot weirder for you to not be there, instead of the other way around! whenever you two haven't seen each other in a bit, whether it's been a few days or just a few hours, it doesn't matter: when you see each other again, he'll be standing there expectantly, with his arms open :)

-You are definitely the person he trusts most, by now! after all, it's pretty hard to spill each others secrets while constantly around each other!

Dinah 

-The girl is surprised; usually she's the Lovestruck one!

-She found your Lovestruck gaze adorable, and was honestly flattered to be the receiver of it

-While, unlike Rusty, she can still function, in spite of all your affection, she is certainly a blushy mess through and through!

-You two fit each other perfectly - once she got used to your affection, she is just as affectionate! Some would describe the two of you sickeningly sweet

-The other coaches get to hear all about you, and not as a passing comment either! No, you are the main topic of their girls (+Tassita) night, with discussions that go late into the night

-All the coaches are very supportive of you two, they're glad that Dinah is happy! 

-Eventually, you two spent so much time together, that it's almost weird to see you two apart! And she couldn't say that she minds, you make great company, in her opinion :)

-It already felt great to have her love language be appreciated, but to have it reciprocated? she couldn't wish for more!

-you two are truly the perfect duo, complementing each other perfectly; according to rumours, you two are the cutest couple in the yard! 

-You're the type of pair, to steal the attention from the actual race, because the cameras are busy getting all your cute moments for the fans

-If you're an engine, she definitely wants to race together, after all it's just more time for the two of you to be close! It doesn't matter if you're a top racer, or tend to hang in the back; she is as loyal as can be, she'll stick around!

-Over all, you two make the cutest couple!

Greaseball

-Refuses to be the small spoon, thinks it would make her seem weak

-Likes to just hold you, really. Her personal favourite is the two of you laying down somewhere, you laying on her chest with her arms around you!  Basic, but good :) plus, this way she gets to use you as a weighted blanket; something she didn't know she needed

-Falls asleep pretty fast. The moment you two lay/sit down, and you're comfortably in her arms, she's out like a light. 

-She always claims that she's just tired after a day of hard work, but really she finds cuddling with you oddly comforting, like she can just escape her busy schedule for a bit

-Has a death grip on you, once she's asleep, you aren't going anywhere. I also believe her to be a deep sleeper, so waking her up isn't easy either (she'd also be moody if woken up)

-Despite that, if you do manage to escape her grip, for whatever reason, she is up within the minute, and she is not happy. Will hunt you down, especially if it's already late out, and drag you back to your cuddle spot, probably while grumbling something incohesive

-Another type of cuddle she likes is to just come up behind you randomly throughout the day, wrap her arms around you, and not let go till she has to go back to work

-Doesn't care if you're in a conversation with someone, you're her partner! She doesn't even pretend to care about the conversation; if the other person asks what she's doing or tries to include her in the conversation, she will just stare them down

-You'd have to be the one to tell her you don't want to cuddle at the moment, she'd act annoyed and grumble about it, but ultimately respect your wishes

--she just really enjoys holding you, it makes her feel like your protector :)

Electra

-While they're more reserved in public, in private they're as affectionate as can be!

-Always has to be touching you in some way when it's just you two, or when the only ones around are their components, so they're always happy to cuddle 

-While they don't mind being the little spoon, they prefer to be the big spoon - they enjoy holding you a lot, it makes them feel important. It also shows them that you have a certain level of trust in them :) 

-I don't think they're the type to fall asleep while cuddling, they much prefer to give their attention to you; talking about nothing in specific, maybe discussing the newest gossip, simply relaxing in each others arms..

-Don't worry about falling asleep yourself, though! again, to them it simply shows how much trust you have in them! They also adore how peaceful you look asleep - simply adorable in their opinion

-They'd admire your sleeping form, perhaps run a hand through your hair.. and while they won't fall asleep themself, they'll use the moment to relax a bit, closing their eyes and just enjoying the peace and quiet - which seems to be something very rare in this chaos of a yard

-Starlight forbid someone tries to wake you up, though. They already hate it when others interrupt you two - but if they might wake you? Nothing a small electric shock, of varying strength depending on who it is, and a mean glare, can't fix though 

-The only time they'll fall asleep while cuddling, is if you're cuddling at night, and even then they're probably awake before you. Chances are, you won't ever see them sleep, unless you got a very messed up sleep schedule or get up before the crack of dawn

-If you're okay with it, the components may occasionally join your little cuddle sessions! Usually after a especially rough day, could range from just one or two, to all of you creating a straight up cuddle pile. But if you want it to just be you and Electra, they completely respect that

-The amount of cuddles would increase in the winter - especially if you aren't a electric, and therefore naturally produce warmth! Electrics don't produce any heat, so the winter is even crueler to them, than it is already are to everyone else; and cuddling, especially somewhere cozy, just happens to be a very nice way to warm up :)

-If you're a steam engine, or in other words literally run on fire, they would just not let go of you in the winter

Dinah

-Literally the sweetest, will take any chance she can get to be affectionate with you! 

-Another one that doesn't care whether she is the little or the big spoon, though she is more used to being the little spoon

-I would recommend letting her, at least occasionally, be the big spoon, though! especially after a rough day, her hold is really comforting!

-But no matter how you two are cuddled up, it is always a really soft and sweet moment; you two are usually talking about whatever comes to mind - anything from a deep discussion about the state of the world, to planning your next date, nothings off the table :)

-While she claims not to have a favourite cuddle position, she adores it whenever you two are cuddled up on the couch, with a warm drink in hand, and her head on your shoulder. Bonus points if it's in the winter, and you two are quietly watching the snow fall

-doesn't really care if anyone walked in on you two cuddling, she's very open about her affection for you, and she would love it if you are two!

- She's the type to randomly just stare at you while cuddling, with nothing but love in her eyes - if you ask her why, she'll simply say that she's wondering how she got so lucky :)

-She would also randomly attack you with kisses - a bunch of small pecks wherever she can reach, before finishing with a final peck on the lips, and giggling about it; especially if you blush because of it, she loves making you blush!

-However, if you respond in kind she'll be redder than her hair! ;) 

-One of her dream dates would be the two of you watching stars together, while cuddling on a picnic blanket! Maybe you were watching the sunset together beforehand, maybe as a spontaneous idea.. all she really cares about is your time together 

-If you're a racer, she'll give you a hug before and after every race, that lasts long enough to might as well be considered cuddling! If you actually win a race, or even just place on the podium, she'll almost tackle you in the excitement! 

Rusty

- All you could ever wish for in the winter, and your worst nightmare in the summer

-Seriously, Steam engines run hot! it would be like sleeping right next to the fire place, or cuddling with a living, really warm, heating pad

-You'd probably end up still cuddling in the summer, because he loves being close to you, but it would be more you holding onto his arm - he wants to get closer, but understands you not wanting to overheat

-...also the first few nights, during your first summer together, he probably thought he did something to upset you, and that's why you don't want to cuddle, and you just couldn't stand that sad look of his 

-It's a whole different story during winter, though! You'd probably be the one holding onto him all day! and he wouldn't mind at all, were it not for work

-But the moment he's off the clock, he's speeding directly into your arms :)

- You guys would end up in all kinds of different cuddle positions, all your limbs usually tangled by the end of it

-I don't think he has a favourite position, nor does he care about being the big or the little spoon, he just wants to be as close as possible to you. He isn't exactly used to being this loved, so he'll take anything he can get

-continuing with my last point, when you guys cuddled for the first time, he was really awkward. He didn't know where to put his limbs, or how he should hold you - or if he should hold you at all!

-you'd have to have given him a lot of pointers, and take charge of getting comfortable for the first few times you guys cuddled. After he got the hang of it, though? Absolute cuddle bug, he never wants to let go of you

-If you cuddle at night, getting up in the morning would be really hard for him. Why should he get up and go to work, when he can stay here, cuddled up to you? He contemplates calling in sick every time

-Similarly, getting home from work and falling into your arms is like a reward, one that he looks forward to every day!

Greaseball

-It was a spur of the moment thing, most likely after a winning a race together

-One moment you're relishing in the applause and celebrating your victory, the next there's suddenly a pair of Lips on yours

-I feel like she'd kiss you first, mostly because she wouldn't hesitate to. If she wants to kiss you, and you don't say no, she's gonna kiss you - who cares who's watching, or that it's your first kiss!

-I don't think she'd wait that long to kiss you, maybe a few weeks into your relationship, at most a month 

-I'd say she's a pretty good kisser, seeing how the show makes her seem like a bit of player, so I do think she has at least some experience 

-A bit rough, but honestly really passionate! As nonchalant as she may act at times, she truly does care about you about you, and it shines through in moments like this

-Definitely not a short kiss - not quite making out, but it does last longer than just a few seconds

-Despite all her big talk, she's smiling like an idiot after, and there's a slight blush coating her cheeks 

The audience erupts into cheers and applause, as the two of you cross the finish Line. but what else did you expect, when racing with the champion? The two of you come to a stop, as you take it all in, looking around at all people celebrating you two, not noticing Greaseball looking at you instead. Before you even realise it, there is suddenly a pair of hands on your hips, and the Engine you've come to love mere inches from your face. When you don't pull away, or look uncomfortable, she goes for it, and finally kisses you! Her lips were a bit rough, and perhaps a bit callous - she never did seem like one for skincare. But in that moment you didn't care, because as imperfect as either of you may be, this moment was all you could ever dream of. And despite the cheers only growing louder, as you close your eyes and wrap your arms around her, everything else seems to just disappear. 

Electra

-I feel like it could be either of you initiating the first kiss, really just depends on how forward of a person you are

-I mentioned in a previous post, that I think of Electra as more of a private person, so it probably happened while cuddling, a stay in date, or while somewhere where no one else is (Like while stargazing on an empty field, or taking a walk (a skate?) through a less travelled by area!

-I don't think that they wait a specific amount of time for the first kiss, instead just waiting for the right moment, so it could take anything from 2 weeks to 2 months till it happens 

-While they are a at least a decent kisser, i actually don't think they have much experience (unless you view them and the components as a polycule ofc), and that inexperience does shine through a bit

-It would be a soft kiss, them being slightly hesitant, but a very loving one 

-as for how long the kiss lasts, that's entirely on you - they're not pulling away until you are :)

-Bit of a basic headcanon, but they might accidentally shock you while kissing; not the type to actually hurt you, it just makes you feel a bit tingly for a moment! It's a good thing, though, that's them letting their guard down around you

It's a quiet night, for once, with you and Electra cuddled up on the couch. Only starlight knows where the components ran off to, and even the freight crew seemed to be asleep for once, and Electra couldn't imagine something more blissful. Their eyes wandered from the window to you, laying on their shoulder, in peaceful silence. They always find you beautiful, but today the light seemed to fall on you perfectly, making you seemingly glow. "what?" you question with a soft smile, now staring back at them. They open their mouth to answer, but instead their eyes wander to your lips, and before they realise it, they kiss you. It is as gentle as the night, and if they could, they'd make this moment last forever  

Rusty

-you'd definitely have to be the one to initiate, even if he wants to, he'd get to flustered and chicken out 

-That also means you're in charge of how long into you're relationship until the kiss! Tough I don't think he's the type to rush things, so maybe wait at least a few weeks ;) 

-Most likely while out on a date - I can see you two on a spontaneous date, stargazing somewhere (can you tell that i like stargazing?), and he's rambling on about constellations and maybe the starlight express, while you're just thinking about how pretty he looks in the moonlight, before you simply decide to kiss him

-He'd be so shocked at first, he completely freezes for a moment. He has no idea what to do.

-I don't think he has much experience. Honestly? You're probably his first kiss ever, so even after finally realising that he should probably kiss you back, he'd still be a bit awkward - He's absolutely giving it his all, tough :) 

-There is so much love in this one kiss, it's unbelievable! While he may not know what he's doing, it's still a very soft kiss

-He'd be blushing like Crazy after, and is more likely than not to flustered to look you in the eyes, it's cute, really 

Both of you had looked forward to this day for a while now: you're shared day off! You've just been running around the yard together, doing whatever came to mind; neither of you had planned anything specific. And now, to end the day, the two of you had settled on a patch of grass, near the tracks, watching the stars!... Or rather, you're meant to be looking at the stars, but instead your eyes settled on the Steamer next to you. On your Steamer. He was talking about one of the constellations, tough you've stopped listening to the specifics a while ago. Not because you don't want to, but rather because it's hard to focus with how sweet he looks when exited. He eventually halts his talking, when he finally notices you staring at him, as a light blush appears on his cheeks, followed by a nervous smile - but before he can question you're gaze, you're lips are on his, and he freezes. He's tought about what your first kiss would be like quite a few times now, planned his reaction even, and yet it's as if he's forgotten every though he ever had. He smiles as he eases into the kiss, sure it might not be perfect, but it's better than everything he#s ever dreamed off.

Dinah

-Another one where it could be either of you

-if she's the one to initiate, she probably wouldn't wait all that long, but would want to do it during a particularly sweet moment 

-I can imagine you two baking or cooking together (or her baking/cooking while you occasionally help, if you don't like baking/cooking) and it ends in a small flour fight, and that somehow ends in you two kissing (I think in this one you'd be the one initiating) 

-Or, referencing a previous post of mine, you doing well in a race and while celebrating together (or rather her tackling you immediately after), with everything just feeling perfect, when one of you finally makes the move (In this one it would probably be her initiating)

-I do think that she has some experience, not a crazy lot, but a bit, she knows what she's doing 

-The kiss is as energetic as her, with as much love as a train can give! It's still sweet sweet, not the most gentle, but definitely sweet

-she'd be giggling after, with her forehead against you, all the stereotypical sweet stuff, and if it's in a more private setting, she'd steal a second kiss a few seconds after, if you let her :)

With a local festival coming up, Dinah had volunteered to bake cupcakes, and as her loving partner, she invited you over to help! You had the shed to yourself, the other coaches all being busy with preparations themselves. It started out as any other time, laying out the ingredients, the occasional laugh, pre-heating the oven, before ending in the unavoidable flour fight. And now here you are, covered on flour, giggling, while simply enjoying each others presence. Though you can't help but just admire her for a second, the way the white flour looks almost like highlights in her hair, the wide smile on her face, as her laugh echos around the room. As you move to ruffle some flour out of her hair, your eyes wander to her lips, and after one quick look to wordlessly ask for consent, your lips are on hers, the cupcakes completely forgotten

Could I get headcanons about the Bochum Components (separately) ( or if you don't want to do all of that, then please, at least Joule and Wrench) Dating a steam engine reader? How do Electra and the others think about this? what is racing with them like? How on earth did they get together? That type of thing.

(Electra obviously sees how happy said component is with reader and how respectful they are to their partner that Electra begrudgingly is like "fine, whatever. Date them if you want" lol 😆)

So I wasn’t sure if you also wanted Krupp and Purse, but if you do then just send in another ask for those two :] I’m obsessed with the components so you’re getting all of them.

Wrench

Although Wrench has more something with Electrics first and Diesels second. I feel like she would still be fascinated by how steam engines work and how they look on the inside (Kind of morbid, but she’s a repair truck what did you expect?)

That’s to say the way I think you two would meet is her actually finally getting permission to properly work on a steam engine from Electra. Who kind of waved her off after she insisted, but hey a win is a win

She manages to meet you not long after and asks you if you would be willing for her to tinker around on and because she’s rather known for being an amazing repair truck (also extremely pretty) you agree!

From then on the two of you get closer and closer until you decide to ask her out. Because of the obvious stance Electra has on steam engines, she would not make the first move, but when you ask her and look so cute, who is she to say no?

At first she might be a bit skittish? But eventually gets really comfortable in the relationship. So much so that she’s not afraid of the repercussions she might face with Electra

When they find out about the relationship between you and Wrench at first they think that you’re trying to take her for your own benefit. Which causes some tension to say the least

After he’s sure that won’t happen and Wrench explains to him that she’s dating you, but won’t just give up her job with him he’ll ‘allow’ it. 

The rest of the components are just happy that Wrench finally has someone that might be able to drag her away from work whenever she seems to be overworking. (She swears up and down she’s not an overworker buuuuut we all know she is)

On the bright side she does figure out how to properly repair steam engines, so you gain a repair truck that could repair you with her eyes closed. Sadly this does mean that whenever you do something stupid you have to go to your girlfriend :,]

Killerwatt

You met Killerwatt on his surprising day off. You see he doesn’t have a bunch of those as he usually had to make sure Electra was safe about 24/7, but since Electra was in a completely safe place he found himself with a lot of free time he didn’t know what to do with

So he managed to find a quiet place for himself to watch engines, coaches, carriages and more do their normal thing. It was one of the things he knew he enjoyed, something about everyone doing their own thing while he watched and thought about why they would do it was peaceful. 

That was when he found himself meeting a steam engine who saw him sitting by himself and asked if he wanted some company. He ended up accepting and from then on the two of you slowly got closer

This man is actually horrible with feelings, so he didn’t exactly know how to deal with it. So once again you’re the one who had to go to him to confess. He told you he had to figure out his feelings and that it wasn’t a rejection, he’s just really bad at knowing what he felt

After a while he came to you and accepted your feelings, giving you a heads up that his boss might not be too happy about it, but that didn’t matter to you. You had him as your partner now

When Electra found out she was shocked, what do you mean her security truck of all people decided to go towards the enemy?! After finding out you’re not getting close to Killerwatt to get close to her, she seemed more at ease around you. As well as didn’t care Killerwatt was dating you, you treat him right so he has no problems or complaints about it

The components are rather shocked that you managed to get together with Killerwatt, he might be often used as the messenger, but he barely goes to anyone out of his own. They’re happy for you, but also very much like :o he talks to people besides us?! Crazy

Please get this man to chill sometimes though. His back must be so fucking locked up, holy shit-

Volta

Honestly I feel like you’d meet her while she’s out testing out one of her new whips and you’re… whipped. I’m so funny sometimes- Anyways!

She eventually notices that you’re staring at her and is at first a bit… hesitant to come up to you, but she decides why not? Her boss could be unhappy with it, but if it came to it she would just explain that she wanted to make sure you went on with your day instead of standing there to chat

When she properly met you though… Now that kind of turned her plan upside down as you were just absolutely lovely. From then on out she kind of felt the need to keep talking to you more?

After talking for a long time and you helping her with her troubles that she isn’t able to vent out due to her being so close with Electra, she asks you out. She’s like one of the components that is least ‘fearful’ of what Electra would do

Her way with words is moving to say the least and how can you say no to her, when you’re also incredibly into her? So after that the two of you start dating

When Electra found out about the two of you they felt kind of betrayed by Volta especially with the zero regard of their feelings. Volta rather quickly sets them straight though as she reminds him that it’s her life and not Electra’s and that she can either deal with it or suffer. Yeah that shut him up real fast

The components are just happy to have you around, they’re not super thrilled about it, but they’re not disliking you for dating Volta. They have to warm up to you a little, but you’ll be in their little family in no time

Goodluck with someone with that kind of aura, you’re gonna need it-

Joule

The way you met Joule was because of her deciding that she wanted to cause chaos that day. At first she wanted to just cause some mayhem, but after seeing your sweet steam engine ass she knew exactly what she was going to do

Joule was going to cause the most chaos she can: Befriend a steamer :] because she knows that it will just send the yard in some kind of confusion when people see her hang out with a steam engine

Plus you’re hot so she’s coming for that ass

At first that’s kind of a joke, but after getting to know you she actually really enjoys hanging out with you? Not to mention that you can keep up with her rather feisty and fiery personality

After realizing all of that she is so quick to ask you out. She makes a show out of it and everything, because she wants you to know just how special you are to her. It’s kind of hard to say no to, but trust me that she’ll do this with an audience only if you’re okay with it. If you don’t like big crowds or big gestures she’ll just do something super Joule like on a smaller scale

Either way is super happy when you say yes to her offer and will absolutely constantly litter you with affection, until you say you’re uncomfortable or that you need some space or something

When Electra finds out he’s not even surprised or mad or anything. Maybe a little disappointed, but they knew that Joule of all the components is the one that listens to them the least. Or at least finds a way to bend his rules to the point where he just gave up. So at least you won’t get the electric engine on your ass

As for the components… congrats you’re now Joule’s leash, whenever she doesn’t listen to any of the other components they’re going to you to try and coax her out of whatever stupid thing she’s doing now

She’s a handful, but she’s your handful :] 

Bonus Null (post-2018 Volta)

Lastly we have Null who you meet by accidentally just smacking in against him. This was in front of Electra and the entire rest of the components so you’re kind of in hot water at first

Null is kind of salty that your heavy engine ass like smacked against him completely, but after being so kind and genuinely apologetic he decides to give you a chance. A very reluctant one mind you

Well you turn his entire view upside down when he properly gets to meet you and he finally lets his rather harsh mean boy walls fall down eventually. That way you won’t get a snide remark every five minutes or so 

You have to be the one to confess to him though, because even though he can and kind of wants to. He is a romantic at heart and is just waiting for you to do it so he can brag about it to the rest of the components

If you give him the confession in true romance novel style and go out of your way to make it perfect for him? He’s in love with you forever and ever and ever. Good luck getting rid of him now, you’re going to keep his ass now

When Electra finds out she grills you a little bit for having that bump in with Volta as she’s very protective over her components especially when they’re not someone like Killerwatt or Wrench, but eventually is fine with you. This one isn’t even that badly about the steam engine thing

The components are a bit wary of you, but quickly warm up to you and are just happy that Null has someone he can brag about and talk about. Although it gets annoying after a while

Bonus Null achieved, you can’t get rid of him :D 

IDK, if I did the second ask right, so I'm gonna do it again. For the components dating a steam engine reader, YES ABSOLUTELY, WHY IS THIS EVEN A QUESTION!! I would indeed like Purse and Krupp, they deserve love too❣️❣️

Krupp

You met Krupp through Electra actually. Although they don’t particularly like steam engines, you were alright and Krupp needed someone else to talk to besides the components. It was just a natural progression 

At first you were the only one really talking as he was incredibly quiet, just listening to you yap on about whatever you had going on that day. If you didn’t feel like talking the two of you just often sat in silence with each other

And quite frankly Krupp loved it. He loved that someone understood him besides the rest of the components and Electra. It was nice having a friend outside of everything and before he knew it, he fell hard for you

I feel with Krupp the two of you dance around each other for a while. Krupp is horrible at outing emotions so to confess to you is incredibly hard for him and for you it’s hard to even read if he’s happy or angry or sad, so how in the world are you supposed to figure out 

Eventually Krupp finally finds the words to properly confess and of course you accept his feelings. Although it feels a bit more like a business transaction than a heartfelt confession, but honestly it’s not what you were expecting with Krupp anyways

Electra seemed actually ecstatic about the fact that you and Krupp got together. It almost felt like they were matchmaking you two and although you want to be a bit salty about it, can you really complain?

The components are super happy for the two of you, since you are Electra’s friend, you’re everyone’s friend. Now you’re with Krupp they’re even happier that the armaments truck found someone to confide in besides them

Do be ready to be like 24/7 around the others as well as Krupp barely leaves their side-

Purse

The way you met Purse was during a time when Purse needed to get somewhere, but Electra was at that point busy with a check up and every other engine usually helping Purse out was busy

So you were assigned to help him out and although he was hesitant to even touch your couplings in the end after a bit of complaining and mumbling how disgusting steamers were he actually did it

And then he had to sit through the fact that even though you were ‘a nasty steamer’ you were actually amazing to hang out with. You were funny and not a doormat to his mean girl routine

In other words this man fell head over heels for you and he got just slightly salty about the fact that he was so in love with you. So much so that he decided to somehow be petty towards… himself? And just stubbornly refused to confess to you

This left you kind of tumbling around in limbo for a long time, because at one point he looked at you like you hung the stars in the sky yourself and at other times he hated your guts?

Eventually Purse gets the stick out of his ass and gets over himself to finally confess to you. Of course you happily accept and the two of you get together. I hope you’re ready because this man is such high maintenance-

Electra is actually shocked when she finds out about you two dating, because never in a million years would she have guessed that Purse would date a steam engine. You shock that man so badly that he doesn’t really say anything about it and just let yall do your thing?

The rest of the components are not that shocked, but they are happy for the two of you. You do get some good lucks from people like Krupp and Wrench as they know that Purse can sometimes be a lot

Luckily you’re prepared for that… right? Right?!

I continue to love your writing, and the components continue to have my heart. So, I am asking for the components racing with their S/O for the first time. (possibly a continuation of the components x steamer reader if you want) (Again, you don't have to do all of them, but I'm again asking for all of them because they all have my heart.)

Wrench would be extremely honored to race with you. I feel like it’s kind of a next step in your relationship since racing is such a big deal in that specific trainyard. 

She would try to hide her excitement, but trust me when I tell you that she is extremely excited about this race now. She wouldn’t even mind if the two of you lost, she just loves being shown up together with you as if she’s your truck

Wrench doesn’t admit it out loud, but the idea of her being called your truck really feels like it had a nice ring to it. She would never leave Electra, but maybe figuring out a way she can work for both you and them is kind of in the back of her head the entire race

If the two of you end up winning, oh it will be a memory forever ingrained in her brain. Racing over the line with the bright lights shining over you and her. The skate around just receiving fans’ applause and you just look so amazing under the lights

She didn’t know she could love you more and then you turn back to her and show her off to the public, showing that you won with her and that you think she deserves as much applause as you do as an engine. 

Trust me that she’ll do everything in her power to let you know how happy she is with that and takes you out to properly celebrate 

Killerwatt

Killerwatt isn’t the racer, he’s the one keeping people like you and Electra safe. Also he’s usually used at the messenger to go get someone else to race, so for you to ask him if he’d like to race with you…

Just pure confusion from this man. He’d start quietly prattling on about how that’s not a good idea as he’s a security truck and a lot heavier than more, as well as bulky and not nimble like someone like Joule or even Purse for that matter-

But no you’ve made up your mind, you want him to race with you. After all it’s not about winning for you like it is for Greaseball and Electra and really most of the rest. For you it’s more about that you get to spend time with him in such a thrilling setting

He’s never going to show you, but he’s actually super nervous about racing with you. After all he hasn’t ever done this before and he’s afraid he’ll be the reason you lose

You just tell him that no matter what, you’d just be happy to race with him. That he shouldn’t be so nervous about winning and losing, you just want him behind you no matter what

He hides how touched he feels, but he feels so lucky that someone like you loves him so dearly. He’s a lot less nervous after your little talk together. After all he’ll always have you to love him, no matter what the ending is of the race

If the two of you end up winning, he’ll be really surprised, but ultimately happy about the outcome. He wouldn’t know how to take the applause that the two of you would be getting, but at least you know you’ll immediately be protected from any fans that might try to get too close

He’ll thank you afterwards with a rare soft smile on his face. So hey that’s a proper win for you >:D

Volta

Volta would be a little bit torn. As she is usually the go to coach for Electra. The last time for some reason they just had to have Pearl and so that time she ended up not being together with him. This time though she was assumed to be with them once more

But her lover just asked her so lovingly and Electra does have more people to ask… After a very long time thinking about it, she decides to go to Electra and have a talk about it. Even though they’re not happy about this question they decide that Volta doesn’t often ask for things like this, so… “Sure whatever, go with your lover. I’ll just take Null instead.”

She is very quick to skate over to you to tell you about how she would love to race with you. Honestly you didn’t expect her to actually be able to race with you as Electra can be a bit protective over his components, but you’re delighted 

If the two of you end up winning, Volta isn’t very surprised as she was very confident about the two of you as a team. It was still somewhat shocking that you managed to beat Electra. All in all she’s very pleased with this. 

After the race you can expect to get a lot of love from Volta, because she does love that rush of winning. You get a lot of kisses and she’ll want to celebrate with you alone with some snacks and a good movie. It feels domestic and like a job well done in the end.

Let’s hope that Electra lets the two of you race again- Judging by the fact that you two won, that window has probably gotten a lot smaller by now- Like a lot smaller… you’re probably never going to race with each other again-

But hey! You won :D rejoice!

Joule

Ecstatic to race with you. Oh my god she thought you’d never ask. Honestly would ask herself if you take too long

Joule loves racing, the audience, the thrill, the adrenaline it gives makes her feel alive and amazing. So to be able to share that with a partner that will absolutely lead her to victory is a must

Also yes Joule will 100% believe you will race her to victory. She loves her boss and knows just how fast they can go, but she will stand behind her partner as their personal hype woman. So you got a dynamite truck always ready to be your cheerleader behind you

She will be so excited for the race and cannot stand still for a single moment. Just skating around you or not being able to keep her hands off of you. Expect a lot of kisses all the way up to your intro into the race. She’ll even give you a kiss for good luck just before you put on your helmet and Control starts counting down

Now if you win she’ll give you the biggest grin and would kind of look at you like. “I told you so.” Yeah she believed wholeheartedly without a doubt in her mind that the power couple you two would be paid off. 

Absolutely already has a celebration in mind and would practically drag you with her after wrapping up sinking in all the attention you two would get from the audience. Get ready to get a real good treat with her as she continues to throw all of her love onto you

Null

Oh this boy would be ecstatic to race with you. He’d feel so honored that you asked him. He’s one of the people that Electra sometimes races with, but since Electra is currently going with Volta he doesn’t even have to ask if it’s okay to race with you instead!

Null would kind of stick together right next to you for the entire day practically. He would be so excited and nervous at the same time. He’d be like kind of jumpy and jittery, because he doesn’t exactly know what to do about all of his feelings

Before the race he’s so excited to go and be seen out with you and people assuming he’s yours. He just is obsessed with the idea of people knowing the two of you are more than just race partners.

Is extremely confused. Like more so than Killerwatt. Why in the world would you ask him to race with you? He’s heavy, clunky and made to store a bunch of weapons. Why would you ask him of all people to race? Especially since he has done no racing whatsoever in his life

He would think and tell you that it’s rather foolish to ask him and that you’re better off getting someone else to race with you. But of course you’re insistent that you want to race with him

Eventually he would realize it’s not about winning or losing like it often is with Electra. You just want to race with him, because it’s him and it would honestly make him more confused about his feelings

He has a lot of trouble showing off his emotions in general, let alone romantic ones, but he feels really touched and will agree. He does warn you that he’s not good at the whole going with turns as good as others, so that you’re making it a lot harder on yourself to race with him

Of course you don’t mind or care so you race together with him and you’re set on showing him that you can win with him no matter what.

And surprisingly you do! You win with him behind you and Krupp is more than confused. Yet he’s very proud of you and makes sure you can get your moment of fame. He would uncouple from you because he really doesn’t like the attention to be on him

When you come back to him, he actually has a soft smile on his face and gives you a soft kiss against your head. “Good job, baby.” He would murmur in your ear and then make sure the two of you go somewhere quiet to properly celebrate

The rest of the day is really quiet, but it’s perfect for the two of you

Purse

Acts like he was waiting for you to ask him, but really he had no clue that you were even thinking about asking him

Don’t get him wrong, he has always wanted to race as he saw how thrilling it was and even though he’s a bit of a diva. He would like to once race in his life, but he knew that wasn’t going to be any time soon

Well you didn’t think of anything like that. You just wanted to spend something special like that with Purse and so you asked. He of course said yes, but would tell you almost bashfully that he doesn’t know too much about how to race himself, but that he will do his best

Please praise him, he’ll get an ego from here to tokyo, but at least he’ll be confident for the race. Honestly he needs it, as he doesn’t like going into uncharted waters without a solid rock to help him out

Well you two win and Purse feels amazing! He would be just taking in all the applause like it’s his life force and after the two of you manage to get somewhere private he would be all over you, kissing you and being super happy

I just had a really cute idea for a steamer reader. Since steamers have whistles and most other engines don't, they use their whistles to communicate with one another like a second language. What if steamer reader was using the whistle version of "I love you" whenever they where around Electra, Greaseball, and the Components (reader and said characterare already together) ( you obviously don't have to do all of them. I just wish there were more things with the components.) But said partner dosent know that reader is saying "I love you" with the whistle, they just know reader uses this whistle for them and they think it's cute. They ask Moma about the whistle reader (aka Moma's other child) uses for them, and Moma tells them what it means. How does everyone react to this newfound knowledge?

Greaseball pretends to hide how flustered she is and fails (poorly). Momma laughs at the big tough diesel suddenly come over all love struck to tells her to go and find you, because if Greaseball feels the same way she oughta say something. Greaseball immediately speeds off and finds you off on one of your rounds - you’re surprised to see her but not as surprised as when she sweeps you up in an embrace. “Greaseball…?” “Whistle at me again! Do that whistle! I… I love it!” she’s blabbering but she doesn’t care. You know she must have caught on and you end up laughing and pulling her in for a kiss, she’s bright red the whole time 💕

Electra is kinda pouty they had to ask for help in the first place… but when they realise what your whistle means they’re overcome with emotion. They try to stay chill and give Momma their thanks before heading off. The next time they’re with you and you make that whistle, they mention - without even turning to look at you - “I love you too. You don’t have to keep whistling it if you’d rather use words. But I suppose I don’t mind either way.” It’s a very laid-back confession but you can’t hide your smile for the rest of the day!

Joule almost explodes with excitement, so much that the freights have to calm her down otherwise she just might faint. That’s where you find her, in the freighter yard, surrounded by your friends. You’re obviously worried about her but she just leaps up into your arms and peppers you with kisses, and in between each one - “I love you too! I love you too!” you give Momma a look of shock and she just grins at you. It’s a pretty happy resolution!

Wrench tucks away this knowledge for later, and begins to study how you whistle, practising it every day until she can make it sound as similar as possible. Then one day when you let out the little confession she sings it right back. You pause in your tracks and stare at her. “Do you know what… what that means, Wrench?” “Yes, I do.” “And you mean it?” “I wouldn’t have whistled if I didn’t.” She’s coupled onto you so she can’t see your reaction, but she can’t stop hearing your giggles for the rest of the journey 💕

Killerwatt pretends he hasn’t been bowled over by this news. He remains calm and stoic, professional, but the next time you whistle he straight up says “I love you too.” A simple fact, no arguing about it. He’s honestly not sure why you ‘hid’ it for so long, he’s been head over heels for you for ages now… but he’s glad he can finally understand what you mean so you can know it’s requited.

WOW I got another idea in the same vain as my last request the "I love you" whistle (OMG THANK YOU, IT WAS SO CUTE❣️) (fem) Greaseball, Electra, Joule, Wrench, and Killerwatt whistleing the "I love you" whistle at Steamer reader (aka their S/O) first. They all learned the whistle so they could respond back to steamer reader, but one day, they just decided to whistle "I love you" to the reader first.

Greaseball makes sure nobody is around when she whistles for the first time… she doesn’t want people to laugh at her if she does it wrong. But you skid to a halt and stare, wide-eyed. “Do… do you know what that means, GB?” “Yeah…” “do you mean it?” “‘Course…” you embrace her with such force that she’s almost taken off her feet. She’s pretty chuffed with how happy she’s made you!

Electra also does it when the two of you are far away from anyone else, but that’s because they don’t want people to witness them being “soft”. They drop the whistle when there’s a moment of comfortable silence in the conversation. You’re surprised and ask them to repeat it, and after some grumbling “you heard me the first time…” they do. You smile so brightly it makes your face hurt. Electra talks in love with you a bit more.

Joule can’t contain herself one day and in a moment of elation just whistles it to you! You’re shocked to hear it but she whistles again and again and again until you know it’s true! You embrace her and she doesn’t stop whistling that little I love you all day.

Wrench’s professionalism stops her from whistling I love you until a sincere moment. Perhaps you’ve been taken off the tracks by a crash and she’s patching you up - but in that moment she needs you to know that she loves you. She whistles and you burst into tears before holding her close, emotions running high but reassured by her confession.

Killerwatt is also too professional for a confession to be out of nowhere, like Joule’s. Maybe someone tries to sabotage you and he fends them off, and when checking you’re okay, he lets it slip. You know he’s loved you for a while but hearing him confess like this makes your heart soar. You know you’ll always be looked after when he’s around!

I'm going to set the reader within the second trimester 4-6 months pregnant. So it's a bit more obvious to everyone that you are pregnant without reader about to pop.

Hydra

You were currently standing in front of your bedrooms full body mirror, caressing your ever-growing bump. Your morning sickness had stopped, and you were less tired, and you felt like you were glowing with how great your skin looked. Work, however, was getting stressful. You were constantly putting strain on your body with work and the baby. The constant movement with the added weight of the baby was starting to make your ankles hurt. You let out a tired sigh out of your nose, your hand resting on the top of your bump, exhausted just by the thought. Your husband was somewhere in the house elated over the fact that the baby would start kicking soon. You sighed at the thought of your poor blatter getting used as a tap dance floor, but you couldn't be happier. As if right on cue, your husband rolls in and smiles sweetly at you before moving behind you to hug you from the back and caress you bump. Smiling, you lean, you head back against his chest and sholder and hum pleasantly at the feeling of his hands massaging you. To make the moment even sweeter, he started swaying the both of you back and forth as he laid a gentle kiss on your neck and sholder. You didn't think you could be happier at this moment, then the baby kicked a small gently movement but a kick nonetheless, surprising the both you. The baby kicked right at Hydra's left hand in the middle of your stomach. You were so happy you could cry, Hydra was no exception either, with happy tears in his eyes he dropped to his knees in front of you and kissed your bump. You them felt the baby kicked your husband's lips, and his smile grew even wider. You both were crying at this point, to happy not to he looked up at you from the floor and quickly stood to his feet. He pulled you in for a long, passionate kiss filled with happy tears and a silent prayer for your blatter.

Electra

You and Electra were sitting on the couch. Well, they were sitting on the couch. You were currently sprawled over their lap, bump on full display. Your spouse's hand is currently resting on it almost protectively, not that you could blame them. Fans had started harassing you at work, and Killerwatt was stressing over protecting you, Electra, and the baby. Electra was adamant that Killerwatt protected you and the baby more than them, but that was easier said than done. Wrench was personally doing your checkups, prenatal care, and ultrasounds, trusting no one else with the care of you and the baby they were all exited for. They were all exited to be aunts and uncles, and Electra was exited and nervous to be a parent. But right now, everyone was relaxed. The components were out doing their own thing with you and Electra here on the couch. You honestly were ready to take a nap on your spouse, not that they would mind they found it cute that you wanted to be with them so much in your vulnerable pregnant state. You were right about to drift off when you felt it, a gentle movement like a bubble poping in your womb, but you knew what it was, right under Electra's hand. Your head immediately shot up to look at your bump, Electra looked bewildered for a moment before a bright, loving smile spread across their face. They moved slightly to kiss your bump gently as both their hands move to caress it as well. You felt another kick as Electra continued to kiss your bump, earning themselve a kick to the lips. Tears slowly fell from their eyes, and they turned their head to look at you, reaching one of their hand up to wipe away tears you didn't know you had. You both looked at each other lovingly as you leaned into their hand on your cheek and kissed their palm gently before leaning in to kiss them lovingly as well. Everyone was going to be so excited, but right now, you just wanted to enjoy this moment with your baby and spouse.

Greaseball

You and Greaseball were working around the yard today. Your wife didn't really like the idea of you going out on long trips with you being so obviously pregnant, and frankly, you didn't either. Your wife was famous, and fans were starting to become a problem outside the yard, so Momma, you and, Greaseball all decided it was a good idea to have you stay on the yard till further notice. Preferably, your wife would have liked for you to stop working for now, but you, being the one that was pregnant, shot that down not wanting to sit at home alone while Greaseball worked all day. Eventually Greaseball relented, not wanting to be too far away from you anyway. Currently, you were taking a break, ankles hurting with the new weight of the baby, and constant movement of work, but you expected this. You soon saw your wife rolling up to you, obviously wanting to check on you and the baby. Your wife gently slid her hands under your work uniform shirt to rest them on your bump. She loved feeling your bump and was not afraid to admit it. You both were soon going to be parents, and she couldn't be more exited and more terrified in her entire life. But right now, you both were drinking in the feeling of each other in and the life growing inside you. Greaseball had her forehead resting against your sholder, as she looked down at your bump and let out a hum of contentment at the feeling of you and the baby. Granted, you know this was coming eventually, but it still surprised you when it happened. The baby kicked harder than you were expecting, it even startled Greaseball. The baby kicked your wife's hands in the middle of your stomach, and you had started to tear up with how happy you were. You let out a happy giggle as your wife lowered herself down till her face was right in front of your stomach. She looked at your bump in bewildered amazement. Checking to make sure she actually felt what she felt, she gently massaged you bump in the same spot till she felt the baby kicked again. A big beautiful smile broke across her face as she kissed your bump before looking up at you. Then, in a split second, she hooked her arms around the back of your legs and picked you up. Instinctively, you wrapped your legs around her waist, and she held you in her arms and spun you around. Her eyes started to get misty as you cupped both her cheeks and kissed her passionately. Others in the yard started to stop and stare happily at the happy scene, not that either of you minded, you were both too happy to care.

Summary: You have been away on a long emergency job run for a month now, only ever talking to your girlfriend on the phone late at night. But you get home today, and Greaseball could not be happier.

Then she heard it, the sound of the front door opening and closing, you were home. She rushed out of the kitchen and to the living room where you were currently taking off your dirty outer work uniform. You looked exactly like she thought you would be tired, hungry, and a bit sore but still beautiful. You looked up to her in the doorway, and your eyes seemed to shine brightly with love, and she had no doubt hers did too. You both skated towards each other, meaning in the middle of the living room. She brought you into an embrace and kissed you sweetly but still passionately. What started as a kiss soon turned to three, then five, then into a full makeuot session. With your hands coming up to rake through her hair on the back of her head, you gently pulled on it to deepen the kiss, she ground into the kiss and pulled you closer to her by your waist. Starlight, she didn't want to stop kissing you, but you both needed to breathe, and you were hungry and tired and just wanted the day to be over. Reluctantly, she pulled away from your lips and rested her forehead against yours to just hold you close for a minute. A soft hum could be heard from you as you hugged her, and she kissed your forehead, drinking in the feeling of each other. "I got your favorite takeout for you. It's on the counter." She murmured softly, she hered a happy, satisfied hum come for you as you hugged her tighter for a second, a silent thank you that made her smile wider at you.

You had been gone for a month, a full month, 31 days of no cuddles and kisses, and it was absolute torture for Greaseball. You two barely had time to call each other for more than an hour every other day. You always looked so tired on video calls, but you both are too stubborn to let that get in the way of your precious hour of each other. But today, that changes you get home today. She finally gets to hold you in her arms again, finally get to kiss your soft lips again, and finally, finally, you both get to have a good night's sleep. Greaseball was beyond happy that you were coming home. Greaseball had finally gotten off work and was currently setting your favorite takeout on the counter. You would be here within the hour, tired, hungry, probably a bit sore from all the traveling, but you would be home, and she had no plans of letting you go anytime soon.

"I love you." you said as you pulled away from her, going in for one more kiss before heading to the kitchen to get your food so you could finally eat. She fallowed you to grab her own food. When you picked up your takeout box, she gently pulled you back towards the living room to cullde on the couch while you two ate. She sat at one end of the couch, and you sat next to her. She put her arm around your waist and pulled you closer to her side, your head now resting on her shoulder as you ate your food. Greaseball put on some movie as mostly white noise as you both cuddled and ate, you ate your food rather quickly, which was unsurprising as you most likely haven't eaten much of anything since 6am that morning and it was almost 10pm now. Greaseball chuckled lightly, " Hungry?" She asked playfully, " Obviously." You retorted with mouth half filled with food. Chuckling, she leand into your side and kissed the side of your face a small happy giggle left your lips as she leand her forehead against you and smiled before kissing your face again and pulling away to continue eating her own food.

After a while, you ended up eating your entire meal and a bit of hers, not that she minded. She had offered you the rest of hers, but you declined, not wanting to stuff yourself and feel sick later. Now you both were fully cuddling the couch, her leaning her back against the armrest, and you leaning against her chest. The movie is still playing on the TV, but you were fighting sleep. You wanted to spend as much time with her awake before she went to work in the morning. But she had a surprise for you. You had been given two weeks PTO for the long and demanding emergency work run you just did, and Greaseball had also used for the first time in forever her PTO to spend with you. Greaseball liked showing off how string and fast she was, and working was one of the easiest ways to do that other than racing that is. But spending time with you was far better than that. Then she finally notices you fighting to stay awake she chuckled softly at you, finding it cute that you wanted to be with her as long as possible. "What's so funny?" You asked tiredly, moving slightly to look at her." You can sleep, you know, Momma approved my two weeks PTO request to spend with you." She smirked playfully at you, and a light pink dusted her cheeks at the memory of said interaction. You had mentioned the PTO in one of your calls, and the next morning Greaseball went to talk to Momma about trying to get her own PTO in with your two weeks. At first, she was asking for three or four days of PTO, but when Momma asked what was the special occasion was, she had told her about you coming home and your two weeks with an obsessive redness to her cheeks. Momma, the ever wonderful woman she is, grabbed a new PTO slip riped up the previous one, filled out the new one with two weeks of PTO, and approved it immediately and then handed it to Greaseball with a sweet teasing sime on her face. She knew Greaseball still got a bit embarrassed about the softer side of love and affection despite the fact she proudly showed you off all the time. And knowing you would want to spend as much time as possible with your girlfriend didn't even bat an eye at the two weeks.

You let out a sigh of relief at the news that you would actually get to spend time with your girlfriend. " I want to go to bed." You ground, dragging yourself off of your girlfriend and the couch. Greaseball took the time to turn off the TV while you stretched your sore body. Smiling to herself, she rolled closer to you. She hooked one of her arms behind your knees and the other arm behind your back and picked you up bridal style. A surprised gasp left your lips at this as she smirked at you, clearly proud of herself. You rolled your eyes at her as she carried you to your shared room. She put you down at the end of the bed to help you strip what was left of your dirty work uniform and grabbed one of your sleep shirts. As you were putting on your shirt, she lifted up your foot to take off your skates. You smiled lovingly at her as she did this silently, when she was done with both your skates she looked at you, smiled and thn kissed you. She rolled away from you to your bathroom to change herself as you got comfortable in the bed. She could hear you quietly mumbling about needing a shower or a hot bath in the morning, scoffing playfully at your tired complaining. She soon rolled out and sat on the bed to take her own skates off as well, hearing you get comfortable behind her. She slipped into bed next to you, and you both instinctively pulled each other in closer limbs already tangled together, and you comfortably nestled in her arms and neck. You took in a deep, satisfying breath of her sent "I love you." You mumbled before finally relaxing into sleep in her arms. She smiled and looked lovingly at you, kissing your head softly. "I love you too." She murmured softly before closing her eyes and slipping into sleep as well peaceful and happy with you in her arms.

You were home, finally home, and you both could finally sleep peacefully for the first time in a month.

Riddle

This poor boy... had no clue at first, he honestly thought you were shy and didn’t like taking. Until you patted your through and started to sign, then it hit him. He started apologizing profusely, you had to grab his face and gentle smile at him to get him to stop, which made the poor boy turn red.

He along with the brain cell duo, Tray, and Carter started reading books on sign language to help you out a little. It soon became a little (sorta) secret language to two of you share.

He also became protective over you, because you’re the only girl in the school and can’t really use sass or call for help to get yourself out of situations. But that does does not mean you can't protect yourself Or tease this poor boy to death.

The teasing started even before you started dating, grabbing his arm, complementing him across the room, chinning him (if you’re taller), looking at him with your gorgeous eyes, and smiling at him sweetly, and it only got worse when you started dating. You stealing kisses in public, signing I love you anywhere, and everywhere, he is convinced that you’re trying to kill him with your love and cuteness. Not that he is trying very hard to stop it.

 Leona

He didn’t really have much of a reaction at all. As a prince learning sign language was a skill he had to learn. So, he wasn’t really bothered by it at all.

Because he drinks his five gallons of “respect women juice” every day you practically have free rain over Savanaclaw, and no one dares mess with you in fear of Leona’s wrath. But dose not stop his instincts from making him protective and possessive over you. There is always at least one hickey on you every week.

It’s obvious that even before you started dating you where his personal body pillow, you could not escape you are his mate now, so you haft to deal with his lazy butt. Not that you mind.

 Ruggie

He found out after magicif practice one day when he saw you signing to Jack complementing him on this hard work. How did he know this? Well his grandma taught his sign language when he was little so he could talk to some of the deaf people in his village.

Because he also drinks his “respect women juice” not many people mess with you. If they do Ruggie chases them off and if that doesn’t work Leona gets involved begrudgingly.

You two cook together all the time, for Leona or for yourselves. You back him donuts a lot too, that’s how you asked min out to donuts with frosting writing of your confession. A win, win in his book.

 Jamil

He Actually had you teach him sign language before winter break you two bonded over dancing actually. Him with break dancing and you with (Dance type).

The scarabia students, in general, are rather respectable in general so you don’t worry about anything. Well other than your boyfriend and his mental health. You frequently help Jamil around with his chorus, to his relief and partial dismay. He is incredibly protective over you like the mother hen he is. Because of your soft yet stern natcher Kalim actually becomes calmer around you.

Comforting/pampering him is something that happened since day one. Whether it be cuddling, food, massage, kisses, or dancing is a very quick way to make him melt and vice versa. You two can often be found past out on the couch cuddling together, much to his dismay when Kalim teases him about it.

 Malleus

Like Leona he had to learn sign language from a young age at the palace. So he was able to communicate with you very easily to both of your relief.

As you would expect from the lovable fae he is very, very protective of you because your human and are at a disadvantage with your voice, plus his dragon side adds to that as well. Whether you where dating or not Lilia and the occasional Silver tease him about you because we all know he fell for you first fast and hard. Sedek on the other hand tries to size you up all the time trying to see if you are worthy of his young master until Lilia drags him off.

When you do start dating it is pure fluff. Tons of cuddles kisses on your head and the back of your hand, him being an absolute gentleman, late-night walks. Lilia teasing you both in the love-struck looks on your faces, tea at Diasomina all the time, you inviting him to stuff, flirting/communicating with your eyes (which is the hottest thing) and ice cream dates.
