not really, at least it wasn't my intention. perverts is an erotic project to me personally. all drone music for me is part erotic, part meditative. it's deeply indulgent and euphoric for me, in different ways for different tracks.
Traditional stuff, tried to replicate my method for painting on digital here, putting down big blobs, thinking about values and light before most things.

i fear i come here at a loss, perhaps in a panic; it seems the world is unraveling in a myriad of ways. generative AI is poisoning online circles for artists, digital archives are being burned like Alexandria, and venomous rhetoric is infiltrating every corner of the internet. i've posted under the title ohsweetnazareth on the ol' 1inst4gr4m, though i've grown a particular hatred toward that app: the man who owns it is uniquely vile. i am going to do my best to steer clear from there. here i am now, on what i hope is one of the few tolerable social media sites remaining in the americas. on this page, i'll be aiming to do something a little different than the work i have previously put out, focusing more on writing than edits and aesthetics. as the world sizzles and quakes, i want to take one small act of defiance, one that defies some of the most primitive parts of me: i want to write truthfully. exaggeration has led me to exhaustion. i am sick of aiming for appeal. may all i write here come only from the most honest parts of me. i am nazareth. see me laid bare. 111
