People who claim defining women as "biologically female humans" degrades the category, or reduces women to baby-making machines, or imposes feminine norms on women, are simply revealing all of the regressive beliefs they hold about biologically female humans

Tfw when men do that thing where they pretend they have no control over their temper. LOL It’s so funny like am I supposed to pretend that I don’t know you’re completely self-aware and present during this rage performance. Or should I pretend you’re the tortured hero in a movie, possessed by a series of fabricated flashbacks of the war and your father

The oblivion remake is a soulless, ugly piece of crap that completely disregards the vibrancy and whimsy of the original. I will never stop hating it 💯

The rates of abuse that trans identified males face are irrelevant to the discussion. It’s not an issue that will be solved by allowing anyone who simply identifies as a woman into female exclusive facilities. I’m sorry, but women’s spaces do not exist to protect men from male violence.

Trans identified males cannot experience misogyny. Misogyny is sex based discrimination, hatred, subjugation, and oppression. Women don’t experience misogyny because we dress or present a certain way. We experience misogyny because we have female reproductive organs, and our bodies and unpaid labor are valuable resources to men that they seek to control for their own gain. If a passing TIM (exception, not the rule) is the butt of a misogynistic joke, or has misogynistic slurs thrown at him, that is not the same as centuries of women and little girls being forced into domestic servitude, raped, repeatedly forced to birth children, denied the right to vote, attend school, divorce, own a home, work to earn a living, murdered by their fathers, brothers, and husbands, lobotomized, hidden away by religious extremists, sold like cattle, used as wombs by the elite, prostituted, and every other inconceivable abuse women and girls have endured for nearly all of human history, all over the world. If someone calls me the f slur, it doesn’t mean I’m the victim of homophobia (they’re still a homophobe).

Men choosing to undergo extensive cosmetic surgery and hormonal therapy (or simply socially transitioning) are not entitled access to spaces that are meant exclusively for women and girls.

I agree, build more trans spaces. Unisex, single occupancy, lockable bathrooms and changing areas, open categories in sports, shelters that are intended for transgender people, making shelters that have a primarily male population safer, sections in men’s prisons that are safe for homosexual and transgender males. Really, the issue isn’t solely that trans people are lacking a safe space, it’s that males make every space they occupy UNSAFE. Which is exactly why women want our single sex spaces left single sex.

It also needs to be acknowledged that trans identified males retain male patterns of offending. Women (who are labeled TERF bigots and disregarded) have tried to call attention to the issue of men and boys who were granted access to our spaces by lawmakers and activists committing sexual and violent assaults against women and girls.

I’m so tired of seeing women defending men. Not angry, not frustrated (okay maybe a little) but tired.

Cuz I used to be the “not all men” type, then I realised, how many men do the same for us? Sexism is ingrained in meme culture: girls like titantic, boys like cool thing; women ☕️ amiright?; I-hate-my-wife culture; FEMINIST KAREN DESTROYED 🔥🔥BY SIGMA LOGIC; Uhh actually 🤓 being kicked in the balls hurts more than child birth.

THE EXISTENCE OF ANDREW TATE.

But as soon as women go “yeah I’d pick the bear 🐻” they lose their minds. How dare they prefer to be torn apart by a bear than encounter a man! Should we use this as a way to reflect on our behaviour as a sex and WHY they think this way? Nah, let’s describe the brutal ways in which we’d like them to be killed by said bear and joke about how we’d sit and watch.

People misunderstand: men like *sex* but they do not like women hence why they’re advocating for sexbots and ai companions. Unlike women, men would not defend you in an argument out of the purity of his heart.

6. Zillmann And Bryant (1982)

6. Zillmann and Bryant (1982)

The question: what are the consequences of continued exposure to pornography on beliefs about sexuality in general and on attitudes towards women?

The experiment:

Part One:

80 male and 80 female participants are divided into four subgroups

Massive Exposure Group: saw 36 short, non-violent porn films (about 5 hours of film) over six weeks.

Intermediate Exposure Group: saw 18 short, non-violent porn films and 18 regular films over six weeks.

No Exposure Group: saw 36 regular films.

Control Group: saw no films, not brought in till the second phase.

Part Two:

Participants read about a rape case and were asked to recommend a the length of the prison sentence for the rapist.

They were also asked to indicate their support for the women’s rights movement on a 0 to 100 scale.

Finally, they were asked to estimate the popularity of various sexual acts among the general population.

Results:

In recommending a prison term for a rapist, folks in the Massive Exposure Group chose, on average, prison terms that were half as long as terms recommended by the people in the No Exposure Group. (A five-year sentence versus a ten-year sentence)

When asked to rate their support for women’s rights, men and women in the Massive Exposure Group indicated about half as much support as participants in the No Exposure Group. (38% versus 76%)

Finally, men and women in the Massive Exposure Group rated anal sex, group sex, and bestiality at least twice as common as did the No Exposure Group.  (For example, the Massive Exposure Group estimated that 30% of Americans had group sex, while the No Exposure Group estimated only 11% did.  The Massive Exposure Group also estimated that 12% of Americans were having sex with animals.)

Conclusion: Zillmann and Bryant conclude that massive exposure to pornography made rape appear a more trivial offense, which seemed also to parallel a drop in support for women’s rights.  Also, intensive porn-viewing led to beliefs that unusual sexual acts are far more common than they really are.

If men hadn't oppressed, restricted, raped and enslaved women for the last 5000 years all the ugly, short, balding in their 20s men would have died out by now and I'll never forgive them for that
