I’ve always found myself in storms, but I tended to resonate in a melancholic manner. Rain, thunder, lightning— they were expressions of my deep emotional nature. However, like most inherent feminine qualities, being “too emotional” felt like a burden to me; like a flaw. In reality, this is just another fallacy women are made to believe.
