this should make you angry. children in gaza have been out of school for a whole year and will be out of school as long as the israeli invasion continues. palestinian children live in flimsy tents which do not offer them any protection from the heat/cold. they travel long distances to search for water. they are threatened by water-borne diseases and skin infections that are running rampant in gaza.
no aid has been allowed in gaza since may. there is a shortage of everything from food to medicine to blankets to tents. this means that prices for everything have gone up.
it has become very expensive to survive in gaza. heavy rains followed by the winter are fast approaching. a tent does not offer much protection against the elements.
help alaa [ @alaakh998 ] buy supplies for the winter and medicine for her son who is suffering from a skin infection. she has two children aged six and four. she needs to ensure their safety and welfare and it cannot be done without your help.

Hello my friends and supporters of my campaign to save my life and the lives of my beautiful family.❤🥺
I am Dr. Mohammad Al-Deeb, an ER physician at Al-Shifa Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip 🩺🩸💉
before the brutal war forced us to leave our homes, memories, and workplaces, which have now become rubble after years of hard work to build them.😓😰
Our beautiful home, filled with cherished memories, holds in every corner the story of my childhood and youth💙, which my siblings and I dedicated our lives to building.😪😣
Now, I am displaced in the southern part of Wadi Gaza😪,
living with my family in a small tent that lacks even the most basic necessities of life—
I
I ask for your continued support, as I have always relied on it.

We, the people of northern Gaza, are enduring unimaginable hardships. Fresh water is a distant memory, leaving us to drink what is polluted and unsafe. The cost of survival is unbearable, pushing us to the brink of despair. Our children and elderly are suffering gravely. We plead for your help, no matter how small, as we are exhausted in the face of this famine and threat to our existence. If you cannot assist us directly, please amplify our call for help. This is not just a plea for aid; it's a cry to end our suffering.

Hello everyone, I have another campaign to share
Muhammed has poor eyesight, and was scheduled to get surgery to help it in Egypt. However, due to the onslaught on Ghazza, he has not been able to receive his treatment and lives with his family in fear. The longer this treatment is postponed, the worse his eyesight is getting.
In order to get Muhammad's treatment and bring his family safety, they are trying to raise €80,000. Currently, they've only recieved one donation of €60.
Please help them by donating and/or sharing. No-one deserves to live in these conditions or lose their eyesight.
(Currently unvetted, very new)
Hello dears! I am Ali and I am asking you to support my campaign to help me achieve my goal. I desperately need your support now to help my family survive and be safe. Gaza is a very dangerous place both in terms of living and lives. I need your financial support to enable me to get the basic needs of my family until the Rafah crossing is reopened to transport my family to safety and peace. Please help a family survive through your small donations or through your contributions to others. Thank you so much for standing by those in need.

Remember small donations really do add up. Any amount counts, even $1!
long story short (for anyone who hadn't heard of this before) the kids online safety act, aka kosa, is a bill that will censor online content and resources for lgbtq+ matters, reproductive healthcare, activism (INCLUDING PALESTINE AND LIKELY OTHER CRISES GOING ON LIKE IN CONGO OR SUDAN), mental health, etc. everywhere--its effects likely won't be contained to just america.
today, july 30th, 2024, the senate passed it 91-3. it has officially moved to the house of representatives.
is this a pretty massive setback? yes. do you have every right to be scared, sad, angry, or whatever else about this happening? absolutely. but should you give up hope completely? NO!
even though kosa passed the senate, the house is on break/august recess at the moment. we have around an entire month to get emails, calls, and faxes in to house reps, maybe more depending on when they decide to vote on it.
should it pass the house and get signed into law, we still have a whole 18 months before it actually goes into effect. this is plenty of time for digital rights orgs (e.g. fight for the future, the electronic frontier foundation) and other groups that oppose it to file a lawsuit against it. even if, worst-case scenario, it flies through the house immediately after the recess ends, we can still fight this up to march 2026.
so, yes, remember what's at stake here, but also remember that it's not over yet. we lost a battle, not the war.
below are some resources to learn more about kosa and how to contact your reps (first link) + a page that lets you directly contact progressive house reps, sign an open letter opposing the bill, and view others' testimonies against it (second link):
FIGHT. FIGHT. FIGHT.
These are all actual conversations I had with @mohammedayesh . In fact, while I was working on finishing this comic today, he sent me a video of bomber planes flying above them. There is not a single place in Gaza that is safe.
Please support Mohammed if you can by donating to his campaign or his PayPal below. He is less than €3000 away from his goal of €15,000. If you cannot donate, then please share. Let’s bring him hope that he can evacuate safely!! <3
Welcome, My name is Janeursular from Gaza, It is with great sadness that I am reaching out to you today to help get my family members out of Gaza to Egypt. I will talk briefly about my family: During the war, my family was evacuated from Khan Yunis to Rafah. They became homeless and were evacuated more than five times. They are now living on the streets, and have nowhere to live. We have lost everything. Our home, our dream and our future have been destroyed and now I am trying to get my family out of Gaza, but unfortunately we do not have the financial capacity left to pay the costs of leaving Gaza. Each person needs between 5,000 and 7,000 US dollars to leave Gaza.
This is what prompted me to resort to fundraising. My family's situation is getting worse day by day. My mother has an injured foot and needs care and treatment. She has severe pain in her foot, but there is no treatment or care available, and my nieces need milk and food.
They are young, Zahyam is two years old, and Mahmood is one year old. And the situation is getting worse. day after day . In order to facilitate the evacuation of my family from Gaza to Egypt, I am setting up a campaign to raise $40,000, and here is the breakdown of the funds: •
A total amount of US$35,000 has been allocated to cover expenses associated with obtaining permits to leave Gaza, as well as transit fees at Rafah, on the Egypt-Gaza border.
This amount is divided into US$5,000 - US$7,000 per person, including my mother, my brother, his wife, and his daughters, Mahmood and Zahyam. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in the safety of my family. The funds raised will be used transparently and efficiently to ensure every dollar is spent on ensuring their safety. My family and I are so grateful for your support, and I am so grateful for any help you may be able to provide during this difficult time.
Please share this campaign with your friends, family and colleagues so that we can reach our goal and provide safety for my family Please accept my sincere thanks for your kindness and support, as well as your willingness to stand with us in solidarity, as together we can make a difference and help my family find safety and security.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart🙏
Lolo, the little angel and survivor of the massacre, lost her father and was injured in the bombing, and now she suffers from hand fractures and malnutrition. I lost 8 members of my family in the bombing of our house
I can't bear to lose her after I lost my brother Please, she screams looking for her father every day.
Please, any amount will make a difference. I trust in your humanity

This is Farah's 'GoFundMe' (she's not that far off from her goal :) ) -
You can clips of the situation people are facing in Ghazza that she's uploaded onto her Instagram handle - farah.n.ammar.
The entity delights in taking away these people's limbs, sight and dignity - the football players, the journalists, just every day humans.
Please boost and raise awareness.
