How do you feel about Red van Buskirk’s Take on lily Orchard?

It is utterly goddamn wild to me that people will look at a person who has sexually abused everyone who has ever gotten close to her in some way, has openly admitted to being a pedophile and wannabe dog fucker, has written graphic pornographic content involving children that was inspired by things she's done and/or wanted to do to actual children (especially her real fuckin sister), has been caught with porn accounts with TORTURE CONTENT INVOLVING CHILDREN, and people will legitimately go "well I don't think she deserves to be dogpiled actually".
Yall wanna know what REALLY makes marginalized communities look bad? Protecting people like Lily fucking Orchard.
Hell the furry community finally wised up within the past few years and started calling shit like this out and making it clear predators weren't welcome, and the overall image of the fandom has improved dramatically. This is a similar situation. We cannot under any circumstances be allowing this shit to slide. Mostly for the safety of others in the community, but if you're that worried about PR, covering this shit up makes us look EXPONENTIALLY WORSE.
animation being treated like a genre instead of a medium is something that actually makes me go insane. beauty and the beast is a romance. the emperor's new groove is a buddy comedy. big hero 6 is a superhero movie. moana is an adventure film. the lion king is a drama. treasure planet is sci-fi. if i was talking to someone who hadn't seen these movies before, and they weren't specifically interested in animation as a medium, then i wouldn't necessarily assume they'd enjoy all of these. and that's just disney movies! try telling an anime fan that fruits basket and fullmetal alchemist are the same genre and see how they react!
Tubi is the best streaming service because it captures the feeling of a video store, but not a corporate video store like Blockbuster, or even a good indie store, but a rundown video rental place under a overpass weeks away from closing down. You'll find, like, 2001: A Space Odyssey next to a unwatchable copy of a 70s exploitation film and a micro-low-budget indie and a movie called STRIPPER VAMPIRE MASSACRE III but you can find no evidence of STRIPPER VAMPIRE MASSACRE one or two existing.
This is a real, commercial streaming service and they've uploaded films with the DVD menu visible for the first few seconds bc it's a recording of a DVD copy. What a titan in the landscape of streaming
do you think they ever explored eachothers bodies
I’m sorry if this is how you found out
super bowl commercial-lookin ass movie
I'm noticing that [adult swim] is getting more female-oriented nowadays. yolo, birdgirl, them rescuing tuca and bertie, unicorn warriors eternal having a female lead and romantic subplot, my adventures with superman pretty much being a shojo, sailor moon airing on the toonami rewind block, invincible fight girl, women wearing shoulder pads.
considering that Mike Lazzo infamously said that women aren't funny and refused to hire them, I see this an absolute win. he must be sooooo angry right now lol
Why tf does my friend have Vines on VHS lmao
How long did people abbreviate So The Drama for? Like when did we all agree that calling it STD was a bad idea??
