sometimes you just gotta develop feelings of superiority and entitlement and move on tbh
hahaha. im so normal. Npd?? literally stands for "normal person disorder" idk what u mean. NORMAL person. normal. ive never even thought anything bad. i have normal relationships with people. i view reality in a normal way... nothing bad has happened to me. i have been treated well by everyone. Which is exactly why theres nothing wrong with me
The dilemma of wanting to bitch and moan to someone, but you know it can make the crash 10 times worse if they don't act perfectly like you want them to.
Narcissists, I love you. I love you. I love you.
You don't need to have energy to deserve anyone's love.
You don't need to be kind to deserve anyone's love.
You don't need to be smart to deserve anyone's love.
You don't need any talent to deserve anyone's love.
You don't need to love any way to deserve anyone's love.
You deserve it now. As you are. Unconditionally.

On February 8th, this nonbinary child was violently beaten by three cis girls. The school did not call them an ambulance after the beating was stopped, and they later died in the hospital from head trauma. They have also been deadnamed and misgendered in their obituary and in the news. As the author of the article puts it:
How is that not national news? A 16 year old beaten to death in a public school bathroom? By other students. All these unanswered seemingly obvious questions about what transpired, and how the adults involved acted. That should be every headline. In fact, almost every local outlet covering the story misgender and deadnames Nex, using their same assigned at birth. The indignities pile on. We don’t yet know if Nex’s nonbinary identity is directly tied to this incident. But, my God, it sure matters to me that this would happen to any child. A nonbinary kid assaulted in a girl’s bathroom. That outcome from the narrative of anti-trans rhetoric these past years. Still why wasn’t this story breaking news? It involves a nonbinary student in a public school. And school violence and school police resource officers. It involves the deep fear so many trans youth have shared with me about their schools.
I loooove getting notes on tumblr and people spam liking/reblogging my stuff because hehehehe I'm finally getting my grubby little hands on some attention hehehehe I'm finally throwing some fuel into the endless pit that is my heart that constantly craves the validation which my caretakers never gave me!! I love the temporary sensation of internet points replacing the real interactions I should've gotten when I needed it the most hehehe keep liking my posts I feel so important
npd culture is feeling exhausted or crashing after most social interactions because you didn't present as funny or cool as you wanted to
.
a friendly reminder from your local NPD/ASPD wolf:
you don't need empathy, whether emotional or cognitive, to be a "good person", and you don't need sympathy, either.
you don't need remorse, guilt, shame, or even regret to be a "good person".
you don't need to have anything else that "makes up for" any of the above to be a "good person".
those of us who don't have some or all of these things still deserve support. we should not have to strive to gain or emulate these things in any fashion in order to be worthy of the same decency you offer to those who do not need to try to gain these things on account of already having them.
it is a form of violence to demand that we change or hide parts of ourselves in order to fit into your definition of "good person" before you'll offer decency and humanity. decency and humanity is not an incentive for change, it is not a reward for doing what you want, it is a basic right that everyone--no matter who they are or what they've done or what they feel--is entitled to and is worthy of having.
if you want us to change in any way, you must first give us the room and support we need to do so, even if we choose not to change in the end. if your support is conditional, if there is a risk of losing it if we do not fit into your box, there is no point in us trying to gain it anyway.
if u use the term "narcissist abuse" and believe all narcissists are abusers then I genuinely hope you can learn to be better because I guarantee you have hurt so many people with your rhetoric and bigotry. also explode
So many of my NPD traits come from being told the exact opposite of what the disorder is all about. I spent years and years being constantly told both through actions and words that I was inferior. That I didn’t matter. And I will be damned if I let anyone make me feel inferior again.
That’s really what it boils down to. It’s not about being more than. It's about the intense dread of being less than.
