Nicholas Britell wouldn’t even have to command it, I would kneel for that man without a second thought.
Patrick Doyle is the goat amongst movie score composers. Sense and Sensiblity (1995)? A classic. Cinderella (2015)? Absolutely gorgeous. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire? I could go on. Particularly his pieces for dances are some of the loveliest things I've ever heard. Everyone should go now and listen to La Valse de L'Amour immediately, it is the embodiment of fairy tale in music.
god bless georgia tennant for being like. you know who can truly do this character justice as an angry pathetic tryhard rizzless ambitious and successful sociopath? my beloved husband.

the blade is folded steel. that’s gold filigree laid into the handle. if i may — perfectly balanced. the tang is nearly the full width of the blade.
“we’re tired of enemies to lovers, it’s toxic”
correction: YOU are tired of enemies to lovers, that is toxic, and more importantly, I am just getting started!!!
we all talk about elizabeth’s kiss of death but i want to talk about how every ship james ever sails on ( the dauntless, the interceptor, the pearl, the endeavor ) ends up at the bottom of the ocean with the exception of the dutchman, which is the ship that he himself dies on
So like I know everyone makes fun of James Norrington in PotC for that part where Elizabeth is like “I can’t breathe” and he says “Yes, rather nervous myself” or something like that and there’s also that meme about “lol men comparing their problem to women’s” but to be fair, he was genuinely a nervous sweetheart, as soon as Elizabeth fell he was straight up ready to jump after her, he was only stopped by lieutenant what’s his face Gillete like “sir no, the rocks! It’s a miracle she missed them!”
Like yeah when I was a kid I hated Norrington cause he was in the way of Will and Elizabeth but now i’m just like… James… my love… such a pure soul… we’ve been sleeping on you, my darling, but no more
tl;dr James Norrington is a good man & husband material, you guys are just mean
If Mr. Collins can girl boss so can you
The craziest thing about Austen is she fully admits that being officious and shameless works! Mr. Collins got that amazing living from Lady Catherine for free, Lucy got Robert Ferrars and his fortune, it is strongly hinted that Mrs. Clay would have succeeded with Sir Walter if she had stuck with it...
The question that she poses instead is, "Was it worth it and who will you become?"
You cannot pursue wealth and status with your entire soul and come out the other side unscathed.
