I totally agree! A lot can happen between 7x02 and the back half of the season! I am gonna have hope that she comes back for a couple more episodes, at least the finale. After all, that is what this show is all about right? Having Hope in Happy Endings? 

Hi Liz! I know that you are tired of people coming into your inbox and complaining and freaking out and stuff. I really hope that this message isn't like that, or else please ignore. I've remained optimistic that Jen will most likely appear for at least the series finale, if not for a couple more episodes. But today with her posts, it's actually the first time I've been worried, they seem so final. I know you've thought the same about her returning, do you still feel that way even after today?

I had a feeling I was going to get one of these LOL Look, the way I see it, she is contracted for this one episode, anything she does beyond episode 2 will require a new contract, new terms of agreement, new salary, etc. This is /technically/ the last time because she hasn’t agreed to anything anymore…yet. There’s a very long year ahead and she could very well change her mind under the right circumstances, which I still think is possible. It’s also possible that she’s filmed everything that they need for the whole story during this week and will simply insert them when appropriate, and yeah, it’s the last time. It’s also possible that saying anything but “last day/last time” gives too much of the plot away. My point is, we just don’t know what the future holds. But I actively choose to have hope so *shrugs* that’s still where I stand.

I can’t wait! Anxiously counting down the days! :D

Still Star-Crossed is a Shonda Rhimes produced show (and yes, I realize this could excite you or make you quit straight away), so it’s dramatic and filled with different races and ethnicities (the main character is a dark-skinned woman and the character with most power/authority is black). There’s politics, there’s romance, there’s drama, there’s swordfights. 

It also bombed the first night. (On Memorial Day.)

The first season is supposed to only be 7 episodes. ABC is not doing much to promote it. It likely won’t receive more than a single season. But it’s based on a book, and it appears to be paced to have a conclusive ending by the end of the season

That means just 7 hours dedicated to this beautiful, inclusive, fun show that will very likely have a satisfying ending.

So watch. Tweet #stillstarcrossed. Watch on-demand or live or on Hulu. Because if you do, maybe it’ll be more than 7 hours.

i know i don’t usually do posts like this, but i feel really strongly about trying to get Netflix to pick up the NBC show: Emerald City. It’s honestly one of my favorite shows now, and completely underrated. it follows a poc lead, and takes a dark turn down the yellow brick road you thought you knew. Sadly the count for injured individuals has risen to 100 or more. With 12 confirmed deaths being that of children. Three victims have been indentified.

A second indivdual has been aprehended by police and taken into custody.

As more information floods in about what took place at the Manchester Arena, the death toll is now at 22 dead with 59 injured. ISIS has claimed this as part of their attack, where now a 23-year-old individual is currently in police custody. The attack went off at an entrance just as Ariana Grande’s concert was coming to an end.

There are many children and teenagers still unaccounted for and as of now, pictures are circulating on social media websites to try and help locate them. To do your part repost, retweet, or reblog the photographs of these young individuals so that their families can eventually find and contact them.

And before I knew that they would likely be setting up a cliffhanger ending, I wouldn’t have minded just one season of this wonderfulness, I’ll take anything I can get! But, if there is more to tell in this amazingly beautiful world then I think it’s worth a shot to try to save this show! Who’s with me?! my god, I am terrible with these sorts of things, forgive me

No, things aren’t looking great. TV Grimm Reaper expects it to be canceled:

Emerald City is likely to be canceled. Its ratings weren’t terrible for a Friday premiere, but they haven’t stopped declining. Last week’s 0.6 puts it into the likely canceled range, even for a Friday show. As you read the nonsense from the #PRJedi in the TV media about Emerald City being an “event series” remember what that means: If it had good ratings, it would be renewed. Since the ratings are bad, one season was always the plan! (x) (Can that mean that there isn’t actually a cliffhanger? lol)

But! Tv By the Numbers says it’s still a toss up (same goes for Timeless, guys check that shit out too, it’s so awesome!).

Good Morning Everybody! It’s almost Friday! YAY! :) I have some great news to share. This petition reached it’s second milestone yesterday with over 200 signatures. It makes me so happy that so many people support this petition and this show enough to want it back for a second season. 

A huge thank you to @fairytalesandtimetravel for all of their help in putting this petition together. I honestly couldn’t have done it without them!

Alright guys, things are not looking great for Emerald City’s renewal. And before I knew that they would likely be setting up a cliffhanger ending, I wouldn’t have minded just one season of this wonderfulness, I’ll take anything I can get. But, if there is more to tell in this amazingly beautiful world then I think it’s worth a shot to try to save this show! Who’s with me?! my god, I am terrible with these sorts of things, forgive me

No, things aren’t looking great. TV Grimm Reaper expects it to be canceled:

Emerald City is likely to be canceled. Its ratings weren’t terrible for a Friday premiere, but they haven’t stopped declining. Last week’s 0.6 puts it into the likely canceled range, even for a Friday show. As you read the nonsense from the #PRJedi in the TV media about Emerald City being an “event series” remember what that means: If it had good ratings, it would be renewed. Since the ratings are bad, one season was always the plan! (x) (Can that mean that there isn’t actually a cliffhanger? lol) 

But! Tv By the Numbers says it’s still a toss up (same goes for Timeless, guys check that shit out too, it’s so awesome!).

Here are some things we can do:

Watch it live! (WHY CAN’T I HAVE A NIESLEN BOX, WHY? I WATCH GOOD SHOWS, DAMN IT) If you can’t watch live, watch it legally through streaming sites like Hulu or nbc.com if you can. (I understand if you are outside the US it doesn’t count (WHY))

Tweet!! LIVE TWEET! During the show and before and after it airs (I think it’s 20 minutes before and after that it counts, I think?)! Use #EmeraldCity as a priority tag and then, hey, maybe we can get that and/or #SaveEmeraldCity to trend! And fans outside the US, this is where you can really help!
