HOW DID I LEARN PIXEL ART? ↳ trial and error basically. GOOD RESOURCES ON LEARNING PIXEL ART? ↳ lospec is a great learning resource. has tutorials, color palettes, and a large community. there's also lots of great tutorials on youtube, like adamcyounis. there's also saint11's great tutorials.
easy tutorial for how i made this simple stylized "nebula" from my 'head full of stars' piece. note that this is not the only way, or the best way to do it, it's just the way i did it (and i made it up). enjoy
btw this was made with my 8 colour palette 'supernova' which you can download free here. eyestrain warning maybe

What's your favorite piece you've made?
Thats a hard choice but my favorites are definitely the illustrations where I've spent alot of time into trying something new. The most recent one being this illustration I made for hobbesgob where I tried animation with PixelComposer for the first time.
An older favorite is a commission where I drew a cityscape for the first time. I can def see where I can improve on it now but its still a piece I was super proud of at the time and still use as a PC wallpaper to this day.
