Dakin: bruised knees and easy smiles, the smell of leather and washing powder- unforgiving sunshine. A cracked wound thats raw edges are coated in glitter. It never quite heals. Young lovers tied up in knots under red sheets. They never quite heal.

Posner: Red rimmed eyes and bitten lips. Dog eared paperbacks and pale eyelashes. Red wine stains all around your mouth and wrists. Breakdowns on the tiled bathroom floor and broken glass so fine it looks like snow. You try to give the world all the love you have but all it does is make your lips bleed.
