playing his dress up games
I was in the mood for tomfoolery...
last night I had a dream that I overfed my pet shrimps and they all got comically fat. they looked like this:
VALJEEEEEAN, AT LAST
... It would be cheap to use the confession lace twice, and I've already used the royal blue skirt, so I choose... the glasses...
Which took me considerable time, considerable effort and considerable determination to craft, so I guess I really wanted them too.
This outfit is called the Valjean... because this photo is taken off my joke production of Les Miserables. The bit when Jean(ne???) Valjean's hair turns white overnight from sheer misery and Javert butts in to arrest him a split second later. The glasses are useful for impersonating Nonoy styling cute bookish girls, but also for cool old women (although if I could do this again I'd give her the hair from the newest 4-star outfit instead).
“By now Jia Dai-ru, Jia Dai-xiu, Jia Chi, Jia Xiao, Jia Dun, Jia She, Jia Zheng, Jia Cong, Jia Bin, Jia Heng (I), Jia Guang, Jia Chen, Jia Qiong, Jia Lin, Jia Qiang, Jia Chang, Jia Ling, Jia Yun, Jia Qin, Jia Jin, Jia Ping, Jia Zao, Jia Heng (II), Jia Fen, Jia Fang, Jia Lan, Jia Jun and Jia Zhi had all arrived (...)”
- The Story of the Stone by Cao Xueqin, Volume 1, Chapter 13 (Translation by David Hawkes)
... and here I was already having trouble telling the characters apart.
This save slot was labelled "Mary", which could be any Mary, but who I really meant was Mary Crawford, from Jane Austen's Mansfield Park. I absolutely dig her, conniving (and surprisngly chill) little gold-digging bitch that she is.
The dress and jewelry, equal parts youthful and classy, are perfect for blaspheming in a chapel or cracking an anal sex joke at the dinner table, all the while smiling chastely :3
I was going to let Fanny Price have this beautiful spring dress, but she's probably object on grounds of the scandalous neckline, the lace and the sleeves (or lack thereof???).
(Disclaimer disclaimer nothing I do is historically accurate I don't have enough spoons for that)
Never go on a date without a dictionary.
My fellow Hong Kongers, can you hear the sound of Greensleeves?
This is a contribution for @alpydk edited volume for Tim Downie.

Chapter 85 is now out, Shirahama posted the coloured version of the incredible chapter cover for this one.
Now if you'll excuse me I need to go and stare at a wall after that chapter.
