Whenever A Post Refers To Buck As "Evan", I Just Know It Will Be The Worst Take Ever

BL Fans truly are at the point of disgusting me. People claim to want more lgbt representation. You claim to support lgbt people…and yet when Zee and Nunew bravely come out and you have actual Thai people who tell you what the interview actually says you say it’s fan service and fake. You trash talk them, call them liars, and says disgusting things about them. How much more do these men have to say before you finally listen to them and believe them? It makes me think that you don’t support actual lgbt people. It’s been proven time and time again by the way you all talk about them. You have posts about Tong coming out and people supporting him…and then people say it’s obvious Zee and Nunew can’t be real because Zee doesn’t fit your stereotype of what a queer man must look like. During a time when they are most vulnerable and a time when they should be given support for coming out in a country with no rights for lgbt couples….instead the BL community has decided to turn their back on them. As someone who is lgbt…it disgusts me. The year is 2022. If Het costars can fall in love then so can lgbt costars. I will be supporting them because it is the right thing to do. I wish them nothing but happiness. 🌈

Can we talk about how “Uncle Buck” was never a thing before Jee-Yun? I mean, if we analyze the facts, we’ll see that Buck has been there for Eddie and Chris pretty much since day one. He cooks, he cleans, he plays with him, he stays overnight, takes him when Eddie’s busy, takes him to places, gives him gifts and helps when he’s not feeling well, I mean he LITERALLY saved him from a tsunami -and nearly killed himself trying to find him-. This shit is so fucking canon Eddie added Buck to his WILL, he told him “there’s no one I trust with my son more than you” over the women that he allegedly cared for and loved so much… we never hear anything remotely close to uncle or “friend of the family”. Even in the crossover when Eddie talks to Marjan about Buck helping him build the skateboard, he never explains who Buck is (which, if I were in that situation, I’d say “this blonde dude, yeah he’s like family too”), he simply says Buck, because that on ITSELF (!!!!) says it all. Y’all can give me all the shit y’all want but Uncle Buck was never a thing before Jee-Yun, because he was never an uncle before. He was a dad. A co-parent. And if he was a woman, Eddie & him would’ve been together long before all our crazy asses decided to even come here so that’s that on that & goodnight

Christopher being in danger and buck getting so worried he growls "get your hands off MY kid" without thinking about it. that or the 118 answering to a fire on chris school and when buck find Christopher he yells "dad!" instead of buck. ANYTHING to gets these people to finally acknowledge each other as father and son.

I think overall we are not fully utilizing Tim Drake's origin as a weird super hero fanboy/stalker for it's full comedic potential.

I don’t want buddie because it would be hot to watch them make out or have sex or whatever bullshit some fans clearly wanted all along. I don’t want surface level lust for buddie.

I want them holding hands and being casually affectionate. I want them waking up in the morning together and eating breakfast as a family and taking Christopher to school together. I want pet names and prolonged eye contact and gentle smiles. I want them having tough conversations and disagreeing but still coming to a compromise because they love each other and value what they have together. I want Christopher calling buck dad and for them to have little inside jokes and have him bragging to his friends about having not one, but TWO firefighter dads. I want them defending one another against their parents and their massive expectations and their unwillingness to change even in the face of the long lasting pain they’ve inflicted on their children. I want them sharing their trauma and helping with pt exercises and talking about chronic pain. I want a wedding and more kids and a long lasting relationship that’s built on mutual respect and friendship and understanding.

I don’t just want sex or make out scenes.

I want romance. I want love.

I cannot believe after that episode people are like: “I love this Buck and Tommy storyline” “I’m glad Buck denied having feelings for Eddie, they’re better as friends”

Did literally no one pay actual attention? We’ve made progress but still feels like we’re in the same place.

Imagine if Merlin just decided to quit being Arthur’s servant one day.

Arthur would just lose it and spend every waking moment figuring out ways to spend time with Merlin and get him to take his job back.

Of course he starts by offering Merlin a raise, but Merlin can’t be bought.

So, he decides to fake an interest in medicinal herbs just so he can go into the forest and hike for hours with Merlin.

He tries every old wives tale to catch a cold and when he finally does, he insists upon being treated in the physician’s chambers. For days he is laid up on a crappy cot but Merlin is always there. Arthur loves being cared for by Merlin and eventually Gaius catches on and kicks him out. “There are actual sick people, m’lord.”

Arthur tries to bribe Merlin with new clothes and fancy foods. Merlin doesn’t budge and people begin to think he’s courting Merlin.

Which doesn’t sound all too horrible to Arthur. He changes his goal and begins inviting Merlin to picnics and to dine his chambers, not as his servant but as a friend and potential suitor.
