☆ sum. You are in your first year of university, and he’s in your second year of playing basketball. You’ve seen some of his matches with your friends but he didn’t really attract your attention. His friend and your friend were talking but it ended badly so now you have beef with his group and you meet at a party…

You and your friends stepped into the party and immediately smelled the booze and some weed. You were quite tipsy so it didn't bother you, so you kept walking further into club to go to the bar to get yourself a drink.

Once you reached the bar, you saw a wide display of alcohol and the fact that it was a free pour and started to make a concoction that wouldn't get you fucked, but it would ensure a good night for you.

Just as you were pouring into your cup, you saw a shadow move from the corner of your eye and looked back to see the commotion. You noticed K the guy your friend was speaking to and panicked. You quickly got your drink and searched for your friends. In all the running and panicking, you didn't quite see a pair of eyes looking at you.

Finally reaching your friends you explained what you saw, but they dismissed it as they were preoccupied with other affairs. You sighed and took a sip of your drink inspecting the party, you soon made eye contact with him.

F was holding your stare down and looked too comfortable to be here at a fresher's party as a second year. You quickly looked away and just minded your business, starting a conversation with a friend and her affair, trying to get F of your mind. You sat down on a random couch with your friends on the right side and some space on the left of you.

You felt the couch dip and a presence sitting beside you. As you turned to look, your heart dropped.

It was him.

You tried getting up but he quickly held your hand and made you sit back down, on his lap.

Where you going?- He asked.

None of your business you replied trying to get back up but got quickly pulled down again, a bit of your drink spilling in the process. You quickly noticed his hands on your hips and his breath very close to your exposed shoulders.

Why you always running from me? I caught your eye from back there- he says pointing to where he was previously seated- And I've seen you in some of my games.

Is it a crime to go see some basketball? Last time I checked it's not just a one-man match, there's lots of players. How do you know I'm not there for someone else?- You replied

He laughed.

I would definitely be a bit bummed if you went to go and see someone else- He says- Look I know my friend and your friend had something and things got in the way and they ended. But that don't make me and you enemies, does it?

Look man, I gotta stand for my girl, your friend over there disrespected her and if you wanna go and stand by him, do your thing but I'm standing by my girl. Who even throws a fucking piece of pumpkin to a girl? Like you part of the opp's team.- You said

WHAT THING? I mean you have told your friends how you found him attractive as he shoots in the court and maybe have stalked his Instagram a little but you never. And I mean never HAD A THING WITH HIM

You sigh taking a sip of your cup, until is quickly snatched by him. He takes a sip where your lips took a sip.

Pretty good thing you got here. - He says

You snatch the cup back and bottom everything and stand looking for your friends.

Look I gotta go. - You say

He stands up and now that he's not sitting you can tell he's quite tall not 6'7 but could honestly be 6' foot. He walks beside you and slithers a hand by your waist.

Okay let's go. Don't want a pretty thing like you to be lost all alone in a sea of drunk people. - he says

I can handle it by myself- you say

I know you can, just don't want to leave you- He says and throws you a smile, which stirs something in you but you sigh and start walking past the sea of people with him right next to you, parting the sea of drunks like Moses to the sea.

Once you see one of your friends you quickly reach her and get her attention with him trailing not far behind. You tell her you're going home and she quickly looks behind and sees him and smirks telling you she'll be fine and will get her and the other home safely.

You quickly hug and she throws you a wink as you step outside the party. He's following you a bit confused.

Where you going?- He asks

Home, I'm pretty tired- You say- You can go back in there's no drunk people here.

Where you live? -He asks still standing in front of you

You say your address which is not that far from the club.

Okay, lets go- He says

Umm, go where?- You reply

Home. - He says.

OH HELL NAH.

I'm good- You say, but he wraps an arm around your waist and starts walking the way to your accom.

You don't even have to say where to go, he seemed like he knew the way and you just let him lead you.

There was silence as you were walking together.And you just hopped you reached there faster.

Once you get to your accom, you take out your keycard and open the door to enter and leave him, but he follows you in.

Since you live in the ground floor you turn to him.

Thank you for walking me here F, hope you get home safe.-you say

You live in ground floor?- he asks

You nod and just wait for him to reply.

Cool- he says and presses the elevator button.

The minutes seem to pass slowly as your both waiting for the elevator, you bit confused and him just standing in front of you.

Your entranced by the way he looks, went casual for the party but still looking good. You keep observing him from his shoes all the way to his eyes and when you make eye contact you just look away. Flustered to be caught looking.

As the elevator dings, he moves to stand in front of you and kisses your forehead.

Sleep well.- he says and goes in to the elevator and pushes a button.

You stand there a bit confused and just watch to see what happens next.

The elevator closes and goes up until it reaches the 3rd floor where it just stops and you realise.

FUCK, does he live here too?

This will definitely be a like a series as i have so many ideas. I’m not going to disclose names. So please do not ask if you give me suggestions for names and i deem as appropriate i will put them. But i hope you guys like the first chapter.
