banba’s daily struggles 

I think I need BaLing domestic headcanons with a baby...

I have no idea if this is as fluffy as you wanted it, but I got a bit carried away thinking what would happen in that scenario ~

I’m also not very knowledgeable about children, so I hope I did this right ^^

They probably saved the baby on

one of their mission after it lost its parents

And Banba persuaded Lin to keep it

until things calm down and they call child services

Lin wants to flat out refuse, but,

as always, he just can’t say no to Banba’s pleading gaze

So they take the baby back to the

flat, completely clueless about what to do

Banba has a general idea, and

already got attached to the infant, loving his role of the father

Lin not so much, it’s not that he

hates kids or anything, he just isn’t the parent type, he doesn’t want to be

responsible for a life like that

Of course, Lin immediately calls

Jirou, there’s no way he’s letting Banba feet the kid with pollock roe or

whatever, even though he looks very cute and happy with the baby in his hands,

Lin still doesn’t trust him

And soon it’s a full house, Jirou

is the only one prepared and he basically saves the day, bringing all the

necessities and teaching them stuff

Misaki is also very helpful,

sometimes she is the most reasonable one among them

Okay, maybe all of the time

But, although very clumsily, Lin

and Banba soon get the hang of everything (with the help of everyone, of

course)

And when the time comes for Banba

to make the call the child services, Lin is extremely indecisive, he wanted the

baby gone the moment it came into the flat, but even though it has only been a

short while, he felt this weird feeling in his chest watching Banba holding the

little bundle of cloth and picking up the phone

He says nothing, only snatches

Banba’s phone and storms off, practically running outside

He walks for a while, his thoughts

wild

What will happen to it? What if doesn’t get adopted? Or gets taken in

by the wrong people? He knew very well what not being with your family

meant.

But at the same time, where they

prepared to raise a kid? What kind of a life could they give to it? Could they

be a proper family to it?

It’s late when he goes back to the

flat. All of his worries kinda go away when he hears Banba talking to the baby:

„We’ll have to persuade Lin when he comes home, won’t we? We can be very

persuasive, can’t we? Don’t look at me like that, Lin would be a great parent.

And I’d make a great papa. I’ll teach you all about baseball. Oh, I already

know you’ll do great.“

That the first time Lin actually

approaches the kid, sitting next to Banba and feeling like this could actually

work

And so, their weird family grows

even larger

Saitou is totally like a dorky

uncle, he loves playing with the kid, he can spend hours just making funny

faces to make it smile

And he is also the appointed nanny

every time Banba has work to do

Even through all of the chaos,

Banba would still be the one to spend the most time with the baby, being

strangely overprotective, but at the same time impossible to deal with

It’s Lin’s job to talk some sense

into him, because

„It’s just the one baby, it

doesn’t need three beds!“

„No, it can’t hold a baseball bat

yet…“

„Stop buying toys and leaving them

all over the floor!“

As the kid grows you can barely

tell who the bigger kid is

Even though Banba is reliable and

capable, when it’s time to play he goes all out, making blanket forts and

buying a shit-ton of toys, never cleaning up after himself

And Lin really gets used to the

coexistence, until now he didn’t really grow as attached to the baby, but now

that he can see it growing up and learning, his bond with it deepens, he starts

spending much more time with them

He would pamper the child to

oblivion

He buys the kid a ton a clothes

who always chooses what to wear on its own, all of them complete fashion

disasters, but Lin couldn’t care less

If it’s even possible, he would

spoil a girl even more, she would remind him of all the options his sister

never had

And then it’s Banba’s job to stop

Lin

Despite everything, the kid would definitely

grow up in a good family, consisting of extremely weird and different

individuals, but it would be loved beyond compare

Imagine Your OTP

An AU where A and B are teachers from the same school teaching different subjects

B's students never thought of any connection between the two aside from being colleagues and friends who occasionally greet each other

But they've always noticed how B would blush at the mention of A's name

Teasing ensues

The students, tired of seeing their teacher pining, decide to set up the two in hopes of them getting together finally.

After a few "dates" (combined with students spying on said dates) and seeing the two finally holding hands with A kissing B on the cheek, the students conclude that their mission was a success and congratulates B for finally bagging hot teacher A during their next meeting

B looks at them with confusion, and misconstrues the meaning of their congratulations but nevertheless thanks them because had it not been for them, A and B wouldn't have enjoyed their anniversary month

It was the students' turn to get confused

One of them clarifies, "Anniversary month?"

B looks at them a little apprehensively before nodding

"Yes. We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary yesterday."

The entire class was stunned beyond words and silence reigned for a few minutes before chaos broke

Billy looks like shit. Like, he really looks like he’s been fucking through it. Steve watches him breathe, holds his hand until he cracks his eyes open.

‘You look like shit.’

It’s the first thing Billy says. Steve laughs, a little hysterical. Grips his hand. 

‘So do you, asshole.’

Billy smiles, just a little, then winces. ‘Yeah. Been a rough week.’

‘I got held captive by Russians,’ Steve offers, and Billy rubs his thumb over the back of his hand.

‘Sounds like fun.’

‘Yeah, super fun. They’ve got good drugs, Billy. Real good drugs. Oh? And I won a fight?’

Billy laughs, a little chuckle that soothes all the hurt in Steve’s exhausted, battered body. ‘That’s real good, baby. Wish I coulda seen it.’

‘Yeah,’ Steve says, squeezes Billy’s hand, wraps the fingers of his free hand around his wrist just to feel his heart beat. It was real touch and go, for a while. Real touch and go. ‘Nothing compared to you, but I’m pretty proud of myself.’

‘I didn’t do anything,’ Billy says, quiet.

‘Bullshit. Bullshit. Max told me everything. El. El told me everything. I saw it.’

‘Steve-’ 

‘Shut up,’ Steve says, ‘just shut the fuck up. You did it. You did. And i’m gonna sit right here and keep saying it until you believe me, asshole.’

Billy tugs on his hand, tries to shift over on the bed a little. Steve’s so fucking scared, still, the feeling still cutting through him. Can’t stop seeing Billy on that that floor. Can’t stop seeing him hold the monster off, all on his own. 

‘C’mere,’ Billy says, ‘come up here.’

Steve gets up and tucks himself next to Billy, gentle as he can, careful of the tubes and wires. ‘Scared the hell out of me, Billy.’

‘Sorry,’ Billy says, ‘I’m sorry.’

‘Quit that shit. Don’t apologize to me. You’re here. We made it. You did it.’

‘Had help,’ Billy says, tucking his face into Steve’s hair. ‘I’m. I’m glad I’m here. I didn’t think I would be. I’m. I’m glad.’

Steve lets out a shaky breath, gently lays his arm over Billy’s belly, careful of the bandages. ‘Me too, Billy. Me fucking too.’
