Is there a way to re-make the 'Colours of the ocean' post without the weird hat man in the background? Or is he partial to the water? Is HE water?? WHO IS THIS HAT MAN?!

He's very partial to water bc life blood and planets and atoms and yadda yadda. I guess he could be water if he wanted to? Anyways Weird hat man's (good call on that he is weird) literally just an AU of this guy from the cartoon Villainous.

Weird hat man is from the Heroic AU, which is sorta the 'main AU' that's more well-known in the fandom. Version I'm using is the Valiant AU created by @themcnobody which is basically fair use for creative alterations

And to answer the first question no, not really, the background is mostly messy blues and greens and blacks and half the colour palettes are on WH himself. If I were to remove him I'd have to redraw a lot of things, sorry mate

uh oh! rant below about Villainous, could be a bad take like my previous bad takes

Not a fan of how Villainous is now basically an ARG.

maybe I don't get the creative vision or maybe I'm selfish for not wanting the show to grow in its own way but why do I have to decode this and that and also collect books and translate numbers and look up Instagrams just to get info for the characters or world.

at the moment the series is in an awkward place where it's really taking advantage of the fact that the internet exists so it seems to rely on that for half its lore?

I always feel like I'm missing out on some new information and honestly I'm not a huge fan of Alan as a person either.

not to mention there's. another book now? are the crossovers canon? surely not every crossover is canon to story. and seriously why is Heed defeated quicker than that cursed buff Black Hat? at least they're building up to Goldheart at an alright pace but I don't have high hopes

just ranting, idk what this was, I'm just a bit confused right now on what is going on with canon. Tempted to ignore it and make with what I have now.
