Results are in... of course. How can I forget that this blog is haunted by Phans? Fluffy Erik it is.
I'm pretty sure I'm powerless to resist making more than one (if not all of them) eventually, so no need to break your brain trying to choose just one.
For those who don't know her, this is my nwedle felt Nosferatu, Ankle Biter Krysa Veinessa Whateley-Dickenson, Kryssie for short. More pictures here!

Random question: What fictional character do I remind you of?
It's been on my mind since someone recently told me I looked like Mavis Dracula from "Hotel Transylvania" (by a happy coincidence, I have her hairstyle). Would love to collect more of my fictional doppelgรคngers/matching weirdos.
Here, I get up to shenanigans with fellow artists, review and ramble, post my writing, crafts and PoTO art because reasons.
My main blogs:
Book/history blog: @purrlockholmesbooksblog
Main art blog: @purrlockholmesbooks
My Gothic literature fanfic Gothic Tales from Melancholia is on AO3
The illustrated t-shirt does exist.
-Art requests are always welcome! I mainly draw, but will also get (hand)crafty if you have good, or unhinged, ideas.
-Asks about drawings, writing, OCs and projects.
-Asks for opinions/reviews of books, films, etc. I love researching and jabbering about my findings.
-Personal questions that won't help any unsavoury individuals to find me in real life (i.e., by all means ask me about my existential crises, but not about my nationality).
WIPs. I sure hope we never see any Phantoms other than a cat Phantom wearing duck swimming trunks because, oh boy, is that cursed!
None-cursed (or at least less cursed) cat phantoms here!
Art exchange with @frommarshtheycome
Who would win, the Skeleton Man or his own stage/screen adaptation?
Original comic with Christine here and Void Face Erik here.
Thank you, Marsh, for your wonderful art of Sarah!
Blog post: The Freedom to be Grotesque and Gothic Authoresses
"I shall thus give a general answer to the question, so frequently asked meโHow I, then a young girl, came to think of, and to dilate upon, so very hideous an idea?"
- Mary Shelley, Introduction to Frankenstein
In the 1831 edition of Frankenstein, Mary Shelley explained how she, as a 19-year-old young woman, wrote a work that shook contemporary intellectuals.
โI didnโt mean anything by it; itโs only flight of fancy,โ the writers who defined gothic literature said to a world that was not prepared to accept that women with no formal education were capable of the intellectual prowess woven into these tales of dark, profound, terrifying worlds.
We have long lived in a society that is quick to denounce, demonise and deny the voices that speak in a different tone. Even if you never show it to a single soul, write. Write, because to write dark, terrible things is to accept that they exist inside you without shame.

Unedited post - with a short piece I published years ago - linked above!
VLAD, Orlok has to be one of the least hygienic beings on the planet, anything he endorsed is a menace to the public health. And nefarious braincell usage is ON. I'm imagining the tapioca is actually rat droppings, and now you all have to deal with that, too.
(Congratulations on drawing three humans ร la fois, I had a crisis and went on a mad cat drawing spree when drawing mine)
Braincell has come full circle, everyone gets their favourite drink, and enough of it (poor Aiden, but at least yours is identifiable liquid!) Aiden's art and mine.
OK, @blackforrestpunk and @purrlockswatson . I got there in the end.
Aiden, sorry there probably isn't enough coffee.
Amanda, enjoy your Count Orlok endorsed boba tea.
Vampire and his partner run into vampire hunters. Cleopatra was a literature student. She knows vampire literary symbolism well.
Crew of Light live reaction:
From my novel in progress, which is basically fanfiction of all my favourite gothic literature Frankensteined into one story.
(Loosely) based on comic panels sent to me by @blackforrestpunk . Read his comics here. Bonus points if you can catch a Cat Punk Erik.
Get yourself a friend in a vastly different time zone with whom you can still complain about being sleep depraved at the same time or something
Amanda. Artist. Writer. Victorian vampire. Here lies my shenanigans.
