Does anyone ever get put in timeout? Im well aware they’re all adults but with all the hijinks and shenanigans it wouldn’t surprise me
He doesn’t actually put them on top of the fridge this is a reference to this vine I grew up with:
Poppy playtime chapter 4 is out (jan 30) and the next day, dog man movie! (Jan 31) Heck ya >:)
It's okay to cry if you want to
Is it alright if I try to make a masterpost of your works? I perfectly understand if not, though!
what if Kevin and Matt are fighting over who loves jack more? ( this was just a cute idea and I don’t have the skills to make it a reality )
Kevin: i feared for my life there
//Ask Box Open
Never expected to make a Poppy Playtime OC but here we are! This is Celine, Ci for short! Prefers to express her emotions through actions, too tired to give a damn, very caring (literary the mom friend)
I call this the uhh... "Operation: Staying Alive" AU??
Basically, Ci adopts three living toys and officially becomes a parent :>
Screw the cannon, Dogday joins the girl squad! He is safe and all patched up 👏🏻
Their relationships are purely platonic so please no shipping.
Bonus:
For your ppt AU, can I request that the toys witnessing snow for the first time and while most of the toys are having a fun time, Doey has slight PTSD from the doctor’s traps, but y/n calms them down and doesn’t force him to go outside if he doesn’t want to?
Context : That one-shot takes place after we defeated the prototype and PPT and we've saved all the toys friends we've made on the road, we get a nice house where we all live together. In that version Yarnaby is way smaller ( plushie size ). Poppy ain't living with us.
Teething
+There's a little surprise at the end because I feel that Oneshot ain't that great, however I've spent too many times rewriting it, Sorry might have grammatical errors.
Your footsteps rushed through the corridor as you held in your hand a long piece of wood in sharp shapes.
You tilted your head to the room gazing any sight of the one you were searching for, but after minutes it looked like he wasn't' there either. You mumbled some kind of thoughts out loud, before getting back to the kitchen. Checking every shelf and furniture your hands could reach. You sought him for about 30 minutes until you started to lose patience. "Dogday ?!!" You call loudly through the house. Soon you could hear someone coming closer, someone big and even louder than yourself. A giant sunny dog appeared at the entrance and put his paws on the door side. "Yes, Angel, Ya need something ?" He asked with his usual big smile and kind face. Happy to help you with whatever. You put your hand to your chin, bending under the table, just to verify that he wasn't there either. Dogday consider what you were doing with wondering eyes. Then he saw what was in your hand. "You've trimed some woods ?" You looked back to him and the piece in your hand. "Not really. Did you see Yarnaby ? I can't find him." The big dog face gets blazed the moment that little creature's name attained his ears. So, HE was the reason of your agitation. He thought while a bit of boredom settles itself, in him. "He did it again, didn't he ?" You cringed a bit towards Dogday's unhappy face, you knew he wasn't Yarnaby's biggest fan. And the little colorful lion could be hard to take on. If you could, you wouldn't have called him to help. But by now Dogday was your last way to locate the cub. "yeah… I think so. But I can't find him, could you help me ?" He sights, and take a small breather on your face, you were too cute for him to refuse anything to you. "No problem Angel." He said while closing his eyes to concentrate all his attention to his nose and get on everything around.
In a matter of minutes you both had exited the kitchen to go to the living room, where Doey and the critters watched a movie together, meanwhile Catnap was sleeping near the great green couch. Used as a pillow by some smaller toys. You headed to a lonely blue couch. The dog stopped himself, hands on hips and a grin on his face towards the couch's feet. "There." He showed with his chin. While you approached the sofa and almost kneeled near it, the furniture start shaking. Besides it tries to move away from his usual place. But Dogday put his paws on the couch's back and set himself in it, before it gets away. "Where do ya think you're going ?" He asked, with a bit of scorn, to the living object. The little monster under it, tried his best to move away with the furniture, but he wasn't strong enough to pull the bigger body weight. Soon the couch stopped shivering, and before you could put your eyes down, a little rainbow tornado rushed out from underneath. Hurrying to the other side of the salon, to the kitchen. Dogday jumped on his legs, like you did. Meanwhile, the rainbow crosses the TV area as fast as he could. "Someone Get Him !!!" Shouted the Giant Dog with his authoritarian leading voice, his finger to the critters, making everybody jump from their seat. Besides, there was just an action scene on TV. But none of them were able to catch it. Catnap's tail swings in the hair to the plushie, but he was too fast and jumped over it, hiding himself under the kitchen table. "Oh Yarnaby…" You sight with a sided smile, sorry to see that your little friend were still scared of his surroundings. As you get to the previous place, followed closely by an annoyed Dogday. Beneath the table, Yarnaby was biting the wood pillars with his half tooth head. His expression filled with anxiosity and eyes alerted by every sound and movement around. When your legs finally appear near him, his bite gets stronger and his wool sweaty, stressed by the consequences of his previous actions and even more by the giant orange dog close to you. "Yarnaby ?" You called softly, bending to his height. "Yarnaby sweetie come here." But he didn't move, looking down, ashamed. "I'm not angry, Rainbow. Come here please." You asked again, even sweeter while patting the ground near your feet. Meanwhile Dogday's tails start swinging the air, because of the jealousy rising in his veins. Why was that little plushie allowed to get so much of your attention? He thought.
Yarnaby was a literal troublemaker in the house. Everyday, he would bite and mess all around, breaking furniture and objects. Like the bathtub from last week. Because of it, Dogday would have to fix most of them and spend time outside working woods and teal. And don't get him wrong, he loves to help in the house and add his rock to the edifice, plus tinkering was a good way to soothe him. But that time spent outside was less time spent with you. He wouldn't mind working from time to time. However due to Yarnaby's shenanigans, he had to do it everyday… And soon his calming activity became more of a chore. You've put the piece of wood on the table and landed both your hands to the lion's head, patting it gently. Which helped to loose the monster's grip. "Here ya go, you little beaver." You chuckled, Yarnaby in your hands, face raised to your height like a cat would be. He couldn't help but bend his head down, ready to receive his scolding. His body starts shaking hell again because of it. You tried to get a serious, yet gentle look. Touched by the poor baby state. "Yarnaby ?" You asked to get his attention, " Are you the one who ate the oak wood desk in my office ?" Dogday let out a loud growl, while putting a paw on his face. So, that would explain all the noises upstairs, an hour ago. He wished he had checked. Yarnaby's head frozen and start to restrain on his own neck under those charges. As he perfectly knew the answer. He was afraid of the consequences, honestly. And he was sorry for the messes he caused, for real. But… he couldn't help it.
The constant pain that he felt on his head because of the teeth that would settle on his flesh was too hard for him to handle. And biting was a way to get rid of it. He really tried his best to not destroy anything around, but that oak desk seemed so delicious and tough. How could he resist ? The rainbowed lion let out a wince to confirm your accusations. You get a last look at him, before putting him to your chest in a tight, hug. His head under your chin and your finger over his wool. "It's okay. I don't blame you. And by the way we really need to find a way to help you ease those teeth." The little one gasped through your touch. Unaccustomed by those acts of kindness. By those soft squeezes and warm hands. Those strokes that would never get rough. And always be there when pain traverses his body. Just like an old memory of his, so far away in time, when he wasn't even able to walk and allowed people to hold him. Your touch was like that warmness that he felt once he was a toddler, and the only thing that mattered, was to feel the Love of his surroundings. In a matter of seconds, the shaking ended and Yarnaby's eyes start to close as he felt rocked. Pats and Cuddles were a great way to calm down Yarnaby's teeth crisis. You would try to cuddle casually, yet last snuggling session was already a week ago, now that you thought of it. You just had so much work everyday that you would forget sometimes to take care of him. Anyway, right now was the perfect moment to do so. You lead back upstairs, under Dogday outraged face. That little plushie was gonna go that easily ?!!! And he even had cuddles ?!!! "Oh and Dogday ?" The giant dog frozen over you, his hand open like he was about to break a steel strand. "Angel ?" "Could you fix the desk please ?" He felt his heart broke a bit with that question. "Of course Angel." He answered, head down, like a depressive dog. "Thank you, Honey." You smile before going down some stairs and get closer to him, leaving a kiss on his dark nose. Some heart appears on his pupils. Back to the top of the stairs, Yarnaby soothed on your arms, you slightly turn around and wear a cheeky look. "Of course, you don't need to do it right now. If you want to join our cuddling moment upstairs, you can. My bed isn't broken."
….
Let's just say that his answer was more than expressive, running behind you, while you burst out laughing, jumping in your king sized bed, head on your chest, to hear your heart, close to him. Yarnaby trapped between the both of you, soothed by your caress. Eventually Dogday end up petting the colorful baby lion near him. However, he had to admit that Yarnaby could be cute and procure empathy in his heart. Deep down Dogday knew that, that little ball of colorful wool was just a 5 years old afraid of the dark, with handful pain crossing his body. Between two hand's pat, he let out a sight. Maybe he had been too hard with the kid. Next time he would try being nicer. Who knows, with his sharp teeth, maybe Yarnaby could help Dogday tinker some wooden boards. He smiled through those good ideas and soon let himself fall deep in Morpheus's arms, holding both of you. Comfortably settled between your little rainbow lion and Vanilla dog, you to doze off, under the warm sunlight that crosses your windows.
Teething wasn't easy but you would get through it.

Here's another scenario for the Final Free story
Imagine the reader has two carved wooden animals (a bear and crow for example) they made themselves and when asked about it the reader reveals that the animals were based on them and they're romantic partner who died way before they went to the factory so made those as a way of the two being together in a way I imagine Doey just crying finding it both sad and sweet at the same time
