Waking up and falling asleep used to be an effortless task. I don’t know when it changed but sleep never came but when it did I never wanted to wake up again

Here I am; writing about you again. I thought that after a year I would either be with you or over you. But here I am at the same place I was last year, school is coming to an end for the year and I’m stuck thinking about how much time is going to pass before I see you again.

You know when dogs sit outside with their face turned towards the sun and their eyes closed and they look so relaxed and when you pet them they’re warm that’s how I want to feel always
