My piece for @cherrifire dtiys
I haven’t been able to get the full video but we just celebrated one of our steam locomotives turning 145 by chucking a chocolate cake into her firebox
Happy one year to moon big and my favorite crew
Sorting system, hopper clock, redstone placed on iron blocks
Tnt run, bed wars, Zombiecleo
Abba caving, UHC, Joe from Nashville, Tennessee
Vault hunters, Mindcrack, Teenage Mumbo
Nine seasons, moon big, Grian was a guinea pig
Record breaking, world-shaking, Mojang watch Cubfan
Etho and Iskall never paid, Doc lost an arm in rage,
Charity streams, minecon slots, eleven years of placing blocks
They didn't start the fire
But they've been burning
Since the game's been learning
They didn't start the fire
But they helped to light it
Really did ignite it

The moment he died, the desert was brought to life for the first time since the beginning.
The smell of petrichor had never brought a more bittersweet sense of relief, nor a heavier sadness.”
quick studies of hergé’s style for tintin! the last two images is me breaking down how he draws nature in his backgrounds, and me attempting a sketch (in his style) of the view outside the cafe i was at! (the buildings were rushed so ignore that LOL)
i have been really enamoured by his artwork ever since i was a kid, and even over a decade later, im still just as (or even more-so) fascinated by it.
his linework and form is impeccable but he still somehow nails this sweet spot of refinement and realism with really fun stylisation, expressiveness and flow. he was a master at his craft and i just AHHH. i wish i could go more into detail and analyse more of how he draws people especially, we’ll see if i do more of these!
The warden kill @ghosted-jazz and I collaborated on this piece for @trafficzine! You can download the entire thing for free here.
