happy bg3 final patch day to those who celebrate
💙🩶
It's been two days and I can't get over what an incredible delight it has been watching the AO3 character and ship tags for Aylin and Isobel fill up with works that are actually about them. A dream, truly. It feels so strange but so wonderful. Everyone who has had or will have any hand in this, from writing and drawing to hyping up others to participate, I hope you're basking in this joy with me.
Anyway, here's a cute little cheek kiss or something.
Nothing beats the feeling when you start getting comments on every fic in a fandom or ship from one person, and it’s clear that they’re going on a fic-binge.
The moon is shy (revised), 2025- mixed media (watercolour and colour pencil) on hand made cold pressed paper.
This painting was inspired by a beautiful photo by @raethanbhanneth.
Some lore: in my sapphic, tumblr ridden soul, the sun and moon are lovers. They get to see each other for only a few hours each day in the quiet hours of dawn and dusk. And when they part, the sun leaves golden kisses on her lovers skin, a tender reminder etched in the freckles on her cheeks. ❤️
Where do the items in the British Museum come from?
The British Museum houses a vast collection of artifacts from countries like Iraq, Italy, and Egypt, many of which were acquired during the height of the British Empire. Through colonization, wars, and expeditions, the British often took historical treasures from around the world, leading to ongoing debates about cultural heritage and calls for the return of these items to their countries of origin.
