Omg Chara Deltarune No Way

i feel like siffrin would be really good at a bunch of unexpected things both from being from the island and general travelling.

like the family goes to the circus and they see someone on aerial silks and he's just like "I can do that" and their all incredibly confused until after the show he asks to try it out (and they let him bc omg the saviors are at our circus)

and he just goes crazy on that shit like he's being doing it for years. and he's just like "oh y'know I picked it up travelling."

slightly more angsty, he has an absolutely incredible singing voice, and somehow knows how to play a number of instruments. one day some kind of instrument from another country, and sings a folk song none of the family recognize, although based on the grammar it sounds like it's not originally from Vaugarde.

the family loves it, and odile lightheartedly asks "when did you learn how to play that siffrin? And where's that song from, I've never heard it during my travels!"

siffrin smiles and starts to answer, then just. Stares off for a while and says "im... not sure. i just know it, y'know?"

he tries to sound okay, but deep down he knows where that songs from. and he doesn't say because he doesn't want to forget it.

also he goes so hard at karaoke. and isabeau blushes every time he gets to hear their voice. maybe they'd serenade him with love songs teehee.

flowey has read every book in the underground, making him the most knowledgeable person about any given subject. this comes with the unfortunate effect of him being the worst backseat driver ever. you'd be trying out knitting for the first time and he goes your form SUCKS, you're supposed to do it this way, not like that, you AMATEUR. or you'd be studying quantum physics in university and he would take a look at your homework and go you IDIOT, the answer is all wrong, you're supposed to answer it like this. he gives good advice but lord is he really annoying about it

"Do you want a boyfriend/girlfriend?" no i want a best friend/roommate/soulmate that I can go on silly adventures with and hang out with and have deep intellectual discussions with and we can be life partners without any of the romance stuff

Sick of characters who are simply Cool or Badass or Horrifying or Edgy all the time. They need to be pathetic too. It elevates them. It’s like adding a bit of salt to a sweet dish to bring out the flavour. Tbh, I think a character can only be truly horrifying, badass, etc. WITH a lil bit of pathetic in 'em.
