BIG HOLE IN THE SUN'S ATMOSPHERE: Minor G1-class geomagnetic storms are possible for the next 3 days (May 19-21) as Earth passes through a wide stream of high-speed solar wind. The gaseous material is flowing from a hole in the sun's atmosphere, which stretches across most of the sun's southern hemisphere. The million-kilometer-wide structure is shown in this extreme ultraviolet image from NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory:

This is a "coronal hole"--a region in the sun's atmosphere where magnetic fields have opened up, allowing solar wind to escape. Coronal holes look dark because hot glowing gas normally contained there is missing. In this case, it is en route to Earth.

We've seen this coronal hole before--approximately every 28 days since February. Here it is in March, and again in April. It has been spinning around with the sun, emitting a stream of material akin to a giant lawn sprinkler. The stream encounter was particularly effective in March when it sparked auroras across many northern-tier US states.

気 (ki) "energy" / "life-force" / "spirit"

Japanese martial arts practitioners often give a loud quick shout as they perform an attacking move.

This shout is a 気合 (ki-ai), often translated as “meeting of spirit”.

This ki is the ki in aikido, qigong, and reiki.

Ki is a central principle in traditional Chinese medicine and Eastern martial arts.

It has been translated variously as energy, life force, vital energy, spirit.

It is believed to be the essence of life.

Eastern health practices such as qigong, taichi and acupuncture are believed to balance and encourage the flow of ki to create a healthy mind and body.

STRONG SOLAR ACTIVITY (UPDATED): After weeks of calm, solar activity is suddenly high again. The action started on May 13th with an X1.2-class solar flare from the sun's western limb, followed on May 14th by an even stronger X2.7-flare from new sunspot 4087. Earth-orbiting satellites have detected four significant explosions so far:

Radiation from the flares has caused a series of shortwave radio blackouts around the world--first over the Americas, followed by southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Ham radio operators may have noticed unusual propagation effects from stations in all directions since May 13th.

Most of this activity has come from sunspot 4087, which has an unstable 'beta-gamma-delta' magnetic field. It could explode again today. NOAA forecasters estimate a 75% chance of M-class solar flares and a 30% chance of X-flares on May 15th. 

Looks like Trump is looking for places to escape to when he's finally busted. Please don't let him out of this country alive...

STRONG SOLAR ACTIVITY: After weeks of calm, solar activity is suddenly high again, with two strong solar flares erupting from opposite sides of the sun:

The first of these flares (X1.2) caused a brief shortwave blackout over the Americas and hurled a CME into space. A NASA model shows the CME hitting Mercury, grazing Venus, and completely missing Earth later this week.

The second flare (M5.3) caused a longer shortwave radio blackout over southeast Asia and probably hurled a CME into space. If so, it could have an Earth-directed component. Confirmation awaits fresh data from SOHO coronagraphs. 

How pain subsides into arms of pleasure...

We are in the midst of a horrificly sick planet: everything on it, lifeforms, subconscious, conscious, unconscious, mental, phsyical, emotional, politics, religions, economies, every facet that makes up a livable planet, is violently sick. As above, so below. Our lives are microcosms of a grand macrocosmical disastor.

Now, the irony of this description is that this is the necessary way of world systems, & all the pieces & parts that are modulating their whateverness because of it. The challenge is for each & every one of us to initiate ourselves into whatever gnosis avails itself to accomodate the inevitable transition.

The only certainty is that whatever was, no longer is...

What has captured my "investigation" into world system changes is their common denominator: stress. At every point of change was build ups stressing the entire planet & its ecosystems. The build ups are population numbers & whatever their main bioproduction is released. Oxygen started out harmless, built up, & as it is poison to prevaling species, it began destroying all current life. Massive stress, nearly wiped out everything. But this change in energy enabled some lifeforms to survive & repopulate the ecosystems, more efficientlly than before. Many examples of this are the history of Life on our Earth. As if all moves in a Spiral, every level or rung up or inward, the result of build ups that stress the world into a next thing. The human-condition is currently doing what Life has always done, maximizing stress, through every venue of what we think we are. Globally. Simultaneously. So how does the inividual take advantage of this stress phenomenon, or do they?

It's interesting that the world is waking up while at the same time there is increased resistance to that waking up, like the last bitter stance to keep from letting go a once prominent paradigm. The "stress" of leaping transitions.

Ah! Click: I been exploring the "stress/death" as paradigm shifting mechanism for a couple years now... simple, that's the "meaning" behind Scorpio/Atu XIII card. Crowley illustrates this in his Tarot, Life ever forward, spiraling, leaping from stage to stage, as it were... geez, took 50 years to fully grasp!

This is what all Life including the humans are going thru now... if the bible people would wake up, they would grasp this is what their book of Revelation is about, the interim stressing conditions that shift paradigms into alternative narratives...
