Already rotating this in my head, so, some thoughts:
We got confirmation that Danse remembers, so.... Hhhnnnggg
We might actually get some DiMA action this time around (score!)
Can't ever have enough Nicky in my life, so it's time to dive back into the deep end of the FO4 game-
And, finally, what will change? Will Nick still go to the vault? Will the BoS find out about Danse, and, will he let them? DiMA knows that Nick is alive, will he send someone to find him sooner? There's so many possibilities (mainly with FH if DiMA does remember-) so I wanna know!
While this will be a new story, it will VERY much be connected to "Death Shroud!" We will be picking up shortly after where we left off and where we expect Nick to be when we meet him the first time.
We also all talked and these will episodic each year...so you'll be getting a lot more Nick stories after he rolled back, not so much in time, but choices. The funny thing about wielding God-like powers never meant for this universe: there will be consequences.
...but also opportunities for things to be different this time around.
Other thoughts:
Ancient Mesopotamian folk lore
David Dwecker is still looking for his soup
Some synths...remember...
Nick is intrigued and terrified of a new Silver Shroud radio play that never existed before
Maine is lovely this time of year
and dear GOD does Nora finally deserve a happy ending, even if this the start of her road to get there.
Fanfic reader's prayer: may my favorite author's hyperfixation on this fandom last longer than mine 🙏
YOOOOOO, LETS GOOOOO
Death Shroud 2 is going forward! This May we invite you to join us as we return to the Commonwealth once more DURING the events of Fallout 4 to spend a hot summer afternoon listening to Diamond City Radio for a…most unusual block of programming bleeding in from somewhere else. Cast list will be announced next month.
2 new old radio plays: The Silver Shroud Nick Valentine Mysteries Plus news, commercials and some unique shorts from around the wasteland.

things I really appreciate about hermitcraft:
I love that the hermits clubbed together to buy tfc a new pc and monitor in 2020, with a massive screen aimed at combatting his migraines and motion sickness
I love that cubfan has Joe Hills twitch emotes as part of his collection. Joe won't sign a twitch contract and can't have his own emotes, so cub just made some for his subscribers to play with on Joe's streams
I love that Keralis keeps sending computer mice and other gear to the other hermits whenever they mention computer problems (because when you own a hardware company, why wouldn't you be your friends' sugar daddy)
I love that Joe has mentioned that grian will resource gather for other hermits off camera in his free time, just because he can
I love that when iskall talked about his hermitcraft downtime, he said that none of the others tried to force him to make a video, they all just popped in and out, offering his various projects they were working on to see if he wanted to join in
I love that the hermits always have lots of advice for each other - whether it be parenting advice for doc, or just in having worked with mumbo since he was 17 and in sixth form college, of talking about tfc's wisdom (and sometimes we even get to learn about tango's washing machine and international taxes)
I love that hermits will take on infrastructure projects, like netherhubs and railways and roads and enderfarms
I love hermits helping hermits
I love stream weekends
I love that some hermits are dedicated enough to neglect their own bases and spend weeks helping out a friend - particularly Cleo, moving into stress' season six castle and Scarland and more to build diorama after diorama.
I love the dedication that the hermits have, and I appreciate how hard they worked for the king arc, the crossover, and the charity stream.
I love the strength of the community when a charity stream comes around.
I love that hermits will rush across the server or panic log in when someone needs help - killing doc's escaped withers, collecting gear, clearing lava after a tactical log out, turning off farms
I love that they offer each other building advice and redstone help (even if it is just scar and iskall being judgy about block choice)
I love scar's first reaction to ever seeing grian in person was 'you're drowning in fans at this convention, I wish I could help you, but we don't know each other yet'
I love Hypno and Joe singing karaoke at minecon in 2012
I love that they do make a wish hermitcraft guests and hermits who can help will be there
I love shared farms and shared resources, and a hermit flying in unprompted to drop off a shulker of that thing you mentioned you needed for no charge
I love hermitcraft as a community
chekov’s cat: if you see a cat, it will probably be relevant later.
schroedinger’s gun: there’s no way to know if a gun is loaded or not until you physically inspect and check it yourself, so it’s safest to assume all guns are loaded.
What a year this week has been.

Hey, you are not an embarrassment for not knowing how to do certain household chores/basic self-care. They do not come naturally to us. A lot of it takes practice! Maybe you had a neglectful guardian. Maybe you had one that was very coddling and never thought to teach you. Maybe you haven't lived in a place where these things were available to you or needed. Doesn't matter. It's okay to not know and far more common than you might realise.
That said, this website provides very simple instructions on how to do everyday tasks such as making your bed, using a washing machine, cooking different foods, washing dishes, taking a shower, etc. All you have to do is use the search bar to find the task you're struggling with, and it'll come up with what you need + other related how-to's:)
If you're having trouble navigating it, let me provide you with some examples:
How to clean dishes by hand
How to make your bed (with visual demonstrations of each step!)
How to fold clothes (with visual demonstrations of each step!)
How to take a shower & dry yourself off (also provides ways to shave beards, armpits, legs and genitals)
How to shave legs, armpits, beards, pubic areas, etc. (a more in-depth guide)
How to mop the floor
How to sweep the floor
How to swallow pills
How to make small talk
How to make eye contact in different situations (or how to avoid it while still looking natural)
It's also perfectly okay if these don't help or aren't appealing to you. Unfortunately, nothing helps everyone.
ONE MILLION SKELETONS
Can I... talk about the theory that winners help craft the next game?
Because, and I really can not say this enough, it puts So Much into perspective.
Everything starts out Normal. Three lives, simple, cut and dry, there hasn't been a winner yet. No one to help craft the game. (And there's something to be said about how simple it really was. Not even a real expectation of the world becoming pvp or combative. No idea of the war to come)
Then Grian wins. The green killer, the man who vowed his first life to the one whose life he took. The next game the boogie man is born. A mechanic that allows and, in fact, demands, a green kill. People can trade lives back and forth, currency and debt wrapped up in one. (can we still be friends? Said the red partner. A life time later and reds are hostile, alone. Maybe it's an answer: No. Not anymore)
Scott wins this time. He refuses to play the game. He will not kill his team, he will love and he will do so fiercely and with all of himself. The next game people are attached through to their very souls. Every bit of damage to one soul is done to its twin. There is no boogeyman. (There is no way for a widow to be left without their love)
Pearl wins and she wins a blood bath. Spent the game draped in red, only wolves for company. Sitting in her tower, shivering in ice, maybe she wanted it to end. To see where it would. Limited life rewards you for killing, limited life has a clock tick tick ticking down, you always no how long you have. A curse yes, but a blessing too.
Now It's Martyn's turn.
And what a turn it is.
Keep your secrets, says the disloyal man, keep them well. Everything hurts, everything Matters, says the man fracturing with every loss. (What if we could love each other without hurting? Says The Hand, who never wanted to be coated in blood)
More importantly, Martyn has always seen the watchers below the surface. Now, they're right here in front of him. Something that could almost... be rebelled against, no? Something that someone else could finally point to and say: hey, hey isn't that familiar?
ANTI-CAPITALIST AFFIRMATIONS
i am allowed to spend my time creating things, even if they are not beautiful.
there is no such thing as a "real job." all forms of work are real and valid.
there is nothing that i need to accomplish to be worthy. i am already worthy.
doing nothing is good for my soul.
i am not defined by what i produce.
my worth cannot be measured by my paycheck, my job title, or a list of professional or academic achievements.
i do not need to monetize my hobbies, it is enough to spend time doing something i love.
i will not let society decide what success looks like. i can define what successful life looks like for me.
Unfortunately every song is about The Character
I needed this, thank you-
hey, don't cry. one cup heavy whipping cream, two tablespoons granulated sugar, three tablespoons cocoa powder and whisk until stiff peaks form for three ingredient chocolate mousse, okay?

Showing an intense interest is how we get anything done, so be curious! Ask about what kind of bug that is on the road, question why so many of this one type of plant is in this one area, show interest in learning about that one animal you saw on a walk! It is never a bad thing to try and explore the world around you, we are stuck in it after all.
A dinosaur obsessed 12 year old studied fossils and found a 69 million year old hadrosaur skeleton embedded in rock while hiking. A fisherman in Australia noticed tiny shrimp in his net that looked slightly different from the others and he sent a few specimens to biologists for testing. Turned out to be a never before described species, going unnoticed in a popular lake. I posted a pic ~here on tumblr~ of a weird parasite on a dead fish and a parasitologist found it and asked to report it as the species has never been seen in my area before.
There is so, so much out there we literally don’t even know. And the best way to find that stuff out is to be intensely curious about everything you see. You might not discover a new species but you absolutely will gain a deeper appreciation for the world around you.
Man, I love scrolling on AO3 and finding a book with like... 400 words max, 1 chapter, get a wall of tags. Like an absolute bucket load of them just dumbed out on the table for someone to play a weird version of Scrabble with, and when you go reading through them you find the most absurd tag in there! Like "Rignle is fixing the spongus, as a treat." So you just sit there with the most... Wtf face ever because there's like no other context! I guess Ringle can fix the Spongus! I dunno!
you have to put on a skirt
Welcome to Rave spits out more stuff for fandoms after they knock around in their head for too long!
Today's episode: Limited Life, 3rd life, and Solidarity/Jimmy's canary curse :D So! To begin with, this will be using the... Head cannon? Fannon? I dunno, the thing where the Watchers pushed Jim off.
Anyways, so! Jimmy was pushed off the Skynet by the watchers. Why? Because they wanted the canary curse to continue. Standard boing stuff. Now! The stuff that has been rattling around in my head: we pushed Jimmy. I know, I know, sounds ridiculous, but hear me out-
As told in the Evo SMP, we the viewers are the watchers. We are the people who watch what they do. As such, we the views, the "watchers" are the ones that caused some of the curses to rear their head. Because we believed in the curses (The canary curse, the curse that Grian will lose his loved ones, etc etc.) we caused them to become true. As such, we are the ones to blame for Jimmy's death. We pushed him to make sure he would be the first to fall, making him the one to be forever trapped in different walls.
