Saporian!Varian has some excellent character design

Now, I don’t *like* his outfit, but it works so well in representing where he was at in those moments. He’s trying so hard to be a villain, to repress all the guilt he’s drowning in, and to parallel that his outfit is just… it’s not him, it looks like someone trying a little too hard with the villain costume. Like someone let him wander a bit too long in hot topic.

Even the barcode goatee I fear makes sense even though I refuse to ever draw it 😭/SILLY

How do you feel about Hugo x Eugene`?

I’ve been getting asks like this a lot lately, I can’t tell if it’s all the same person.

I said this before, but I’m not into shipping. They only things I really ship in Tangled is New dream (Rapunzel x Eugene) occasionally I ship Varigo and Unkighted (Eugene x Rapunzel x Cassandra). But that’s it.

Also the age gap between Hugo and Eugene is weird. Like it’s legal I guess, but that’s a very low bar. 18 and 27-30 are wildly different.

I see it more as Eugene originally despising Hugo because he’s dating his cousin and he’s and overprotective, but he warms up and likes him eventually. All platonic tho.

What was your first exposure to Danganronpa?

I have to be honest, it’s been so long I don’t really remember.

I think it was Leon’s execution though, I liked the art style and was curious about where it was from and what was going on. I didn’t realize it was a game. I just searched “DanagnRonpa: Full Anime” or whatever on YouTube and watched it because I had nothing better to do (it was quarantine).

Confession: i didn’t actually play the first game, just watched the anime. Terrible, I know.

Which was your first Danganronpa game?

The first one I sorta played was the second one. Me and my friends like to play games together (when I say together I mean: She plays them and I sit at her shoulder like an annoying parrot) and she picked up the full series cus it was on sale or something. She had already played the first one so she started the second one with me and I was like “wait a minute this is so familiar, where have I’ve seen this before?” Then Monokuma showed up lol

Who is your favorite protagonist?

It’s probably Hajime. He had pretty good chemistry with all the characters. His twist was also cool.

I was also excited to play as Keade because she had an actual personality, but…

Which was your favorite trial from V3?

Hmm, ohhh, this is hard- it’s chapter 5.

I love almost everything about it, the gimmick, the story, the emotion. The tiny little hints the exsial gives. Ahhh I love it all. We were also able to find the “Lie route 1” basically solving it in 5 seconds, but we were still surprised.

I do have a few problems. Mostly with how characters were acting, not the case itself. For one, I don’t like how Maki didn’t apologize. We see hints of it in her argument arment, but no actual scene and it just weakens her character. I also don’t like how Shuichi still wanted to find the truth despite knowing Monokuma didn’t know the answer. I get his whole arc up to this point was “find the truth no matter what!” But with Monokuma? Did that not raise a single red flag? I think that role should have been given to Tsumugi as foreshadowing. Sure it might’ve been too obvious, but we’re getting her reveal next chapter anyway. It also would have been cool see how much their plan was fucking with the mastermind.

Although, trial 4 would be pretty close if I wasn’t able to figure out it was Gonta through process of elimination before the trail even stared
