there is no way some of y’all are this heated about fictional characters. like i refuse to believe that people are getting into fights over characters that don’t. exist. in. real. life.

regulus has the same thing going on as robert pattinson i think. yeah people think hes all pretty and rich boy malice and that image goes away immediately after seeing him eating fistfuls of mud and paper. he just pops up to say the most offputting conspiracies like a redditor and the only time you see him doing anything remotely interesting is when he started a fight club and beating up kids at lunch time

all of roberts jokes are like inside jokes but only for himself and regulus has that energy . you’re right

the whole point of the marauders was that they were a flawed, toxic friendship full of mistrust and codependency and inequality!!!

also, writing / reading about them is SO much more interesting when sticking and exploring the canon versions of the characters

What the Marauders actually were:

A group of Bullies and Enablers with unequal power dynamics. James and Sirius being the ring leaders, Remus being an enabler who'll throw his self-respect under the bus if it means that he'll get to stay friends with you and Peter being a cowering rat who'll worship the biggest bullies in the playground.

What the Marauders weren't:

Whatever shit they spewed in ATYD

i love the idea of Sirius being like yeah he’s soooo masc like he’s literally so powerful his magic is soooo strong and like he could like literally crack me in half 🤧🤪🥴 and then you look at Remus and he’s just like. a stick of string cheese in a sweater
