Thereโs a million things I love about her. I wouldnโt find an ending to the list of things. Thereโs the way she dances, or looks at me from across the room. The way she eats a burger or the way her face gets when sheโs upset. I could tell you that I love her body, or her eyes, or her smile and how it curves a little extra to one side. I wouldnโt find an ending to the list of things but I believe my favorite thing about her is the way she sings. Days when sheโs in the shower, as I lay in bed and I can hear her voice echoing through the walls of tiles. They say when you love a woman you have to love her for all of her, her flaws and her passions. I never thought Iโd find a singer. A girl who could sing any corny song and somehow it was a new heaven in your eyes. Sheโll sing that over played radio song yet when it slips from her lips, itโs as if you had never heard it before. I love her for many things but the way she sings is my favorite thing. Thereโs something about laying in the next room and hearing her sing lyrics to love songs that remind you, somehow, somewhere you found the path to her happiness. Somehow, you are a naive fool, but somehow you could possibly be the reason she sings so proud-fully, the reason she doesnโt think those love songs are overrated or foolish speaking. Thereโs a million things I love about her but her singing is my favorite thing. Because thereโs something about her voice and how it can bring a man to his knees. Something about the lyrics and how they seem full of peace and certainty. Thereโs something about the way she hums as sheโs in the shower. Something about her voice that gives me reassurance that Iโd want no other voice to wake to. No other voice to fight with, no other voice to end my nights with. Thereโs something about the way she sings that makes me lay in bed knowing Iโd want no love song to dance to, if it didnโt include her.
Sheโs my favorite love song (via h0pefulkid-withaninkedupheart)
